USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9575; (P) 0.9640; (R1) 0.9679; More

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged and intraday bias stays on the downside. Fall from 0.9884 is seen as a falling leg of the consolidation from 1.0063. Deeper decline would be seen to 0.9493 support. On the upside, though, above 0.9738 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 0.9884 resistance.

In the bigger picture, medium term up trend from 0.8756 (2021 low) is still in progress. On resumption, next target is 1.0342 (2016 high). Sustained break there will resume long term up trend from 0.7065 (2011 low). This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9471 resistance turned support holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9035; (P) 0.9089; (R1) 0.9194; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside for 0.9207 resistance first. Decisive break there would be an early sign of bullish reversal and target 0.9304 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, below 0.9115 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 0.8982 low instead.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). There is no clear sign of completion yet. On resumption, next target will be 138.2% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.8639. Nevertheless, strong break of 0.9304 resistance will be an early sign of trend reversal and turn focus back to 0.9901 key resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9630; (P) 0.9657; (R1) 0.9682; More

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation below 0.9726 and intraday bias remains neutral. Another rise is expected as long as 0.9594 support holds. Prior break of 0.9699 resistance suggests near term reversal after defending 0.9443 key support. Above 0.9726 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9783 first. Break will target channel resistance (now at 0.9899). However, firm break of 0.9594 will dampen this bullish view and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9437.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that USD/CHF has successfully defended 0.9443 key support level. And long term range trading in 0.9443/1.0342 is extending with another rise. At this point, there is no sign of an up trend yet. Hence, while further rise is expected in USD/CHF, we’ll start to be cautious on loss of momentum above 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9996.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9929; (P) 0.9944; (R1) 0.9960; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for consolidation above 0.9908 temporary low. Another fall could be seen with 1.0006 minor support intact. Break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9541 to 1.0128 at 0.9904 will target 0.9848 key support level. On the upside, above 1.0006 minor resistance will indicate that the pull back has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.0128 high.

In the bigger picture, the pullback from 1.0067 has completed at 0.9541 already. And rise from 0.9186 is likely resuming. Firm break of 1.0067 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 key resistance. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside to bring another medium term fall to extend long term range trading. However, break of 0.9848 near term support will dampen this view and bring deeper decline back to 0.9541 support and possibly below.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9047; (P) 0.9074; (R1) 0.9094; More….

USD/CHF is holding above 0.9005 support and intraday bias remains neutral first. Further decline is expected as long as 0.9101 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 0.9005 will resume the fall from 0.9223 to 38.2% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8883. Nevertheless, break of 0.9101 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 0.9223 instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom are tentatively seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Rejection by 0.9243 resistance, followed by sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8883 will strengthen this case, and maintain medium term bearishness. However, decisive break of 0.9243 will argue that the trend has already reversed and turn medium term outlook bullish for 1.0146.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9900; (P) 0.9945; (R1) 0.9973; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside as the correction from 1.0056 is still in progress. Further decline would be seen to trend line (now at 0.9819). We’d expect strong support from there to contain downside and bring rebound. On the upside, above 0.9956 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.0056 high first.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 1.0342 has completed with three waves down to 0.9186. Rise from there is currently viewed as a leg inside the long term range pattern. Hence, while further rally would be seen, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.0342 to limit upside. For now, further rise is expected as long as 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9942; (P) 0.9989; (R1) 1.0019; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for consolidation below 1.0037 temporary top. Downside of retreat should be contained above 0.9835 resistance turned support and bring rally resumption . Since 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990 is already met, break of 1.0037 will turn bias to the upside for 1.0342 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could is a medium term up move and should target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. On the downside, break of 0.9736 support is now needed to indicate completion of the rise from 0.9420. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor in medium term.

While downside momentum in USD/CHF is diminishing as seen in 4 hour MACD, deeper decline is still expected with 0.9392 minor resistance intact. Current fall from 1.0037 would target next fibonacci projection level at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 0.9392 minor resistance, however, will indicate short term bottoming and bring stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, the strong break of 0.9420 support suggests that fall from 1.0342 is developing into a medium term down trend. Deeper fall should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9420 from 1.0037 at 0.9115. Break will target 161.8% projection at 0.8545. In any case, break of 0.9640 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even in case of strong rebound.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. break of 0.9146 will resume the rebound from 0.8818 to 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8818 at 0.9325. On the downside, however, break of 0.9013 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.8818 low instead.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal. Sustained break of 0.9058 support turned resistance will be the first sign of medium term bottoming. However, decisive break of 0.8756 will carry larger bearish implications.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9725; (P) 0.9770; (R1) 0.9803; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains cautiously on the upside. Rise from 0.9420 is resuming and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990 next. As medium term fall form 1.0342 is possibly finished, sustained break of 0.9990 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 high. However, break of 0.9736 support will mixed up the near term outlook and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9587 support instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could develop into a medium term move and target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. USD/CHF’s is losing some upside momentum again as seen in 4 hour MACD. But with 0.9630 support intact, further rise is expected to 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9783 first. As noted before, prior break of 0.9699 resistance suggests near term reversal after defending 0.9443 key support. Break of 0.9783 will target channel resistance (now at 0.9887). On the downside, break of 0.9630, however, will indicate completion of the rebound and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9437.

USD/CHF’s decline from 0.9868 accelerates to as low as 0.9546 so far. Current fall is seen as the corrective pattern from 1.0063. Intraday bias stays on the downside for 0.9369 support. On the upside above 0.9707 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that up trend from 0.8756 (2021 low) is still in progress. Sustained break of 1.0063 will target 100% projection of 0.9149 to 1.0063 from 0.9369 at 1.0283, and then 1.0342 (2016 high). For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.9369 support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9836; (P) 0.9863; (R1) 0.9889; More

Further rise remains mildly in favor with 0.9809 minor support intact. Rebound from 0.9695 could target 1.0014 resistance. But upside could be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.0237 to 0.9695 at 1.0030. On the downside, below 0.9809 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.9695 low.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that up trend from 0.9186 (2018 low) has completed at 1.0237 already. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9587 and below. For now, USD/CHF is seen as in long term range pattern between 0.9186 and 1.0342. Hence, we’d pay attention to bottoming signal below 0.9587. However, sustained break of 1.0014 will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.0237 high.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8790; (P) 0.8871; (R1) 0.8915; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the downside as this point. Breach of 0.8825 support indicates that whole fall from 0.9223 is resuming. Deeper decline would be seen to 60% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8672 next. On the upside, above 0.8914 support turned resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, with 0.9243 resistance intact, medium term outlook in USD/CHF is neutral at best. For now, more sideway trading is likely between 0.8332/9243. However, firm break of 0.9243 will indicate larger bullish trend reversal.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9704; (P) 0.9734; (R1) 0.9774; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains mildly on the downside. Fall from 1.0063 would extend lower and sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9193 to 1.0063 at 0.9731 will target 55 day EMA (now at 0.9589). But downside should be contained by 61.8% retracement at 0.9525 to bring rebound. On the upside, above 0.9859 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.0063 high.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0342 (2016 high) should have completed with three waves down to 0.8756 (2021 low) already. Rise from 0.8756 is likely a medium term up trend of its own. Next target is 161.8% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9471 from 0.9149 at 1.0306, which is close to 1.0342 (2016 high). This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9459 resistance turned support holds.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, break of 0.9991 will resume the rebound from 0.9787 and target 1.0056 high. Break will resume whole rally from 0.9186. On the downside, below 0.9855 will likely resume the correction from 1.0056 through 0.9787 support. But downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 to bring rebound.

However, sustained break of 0.9724 will dampen this bullish view and would at least bring deeper fall to 61.8% retracement at 0.9518.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8574; (P) 0.8597; (R1) 0.8639; More….

With 0.8665 support turned resistance intact, rebound from 0.8332 is seen as a corrective move only. Break of 0.8487 will indicate that the rebound has completed, and bring retest of 0.8332 low. However, decisive break of 0.8665 will rise the change of larger trend reversal and target 0.8819 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, outlook in USD/CHF will stay bearish as long as 0.9243 resistance holds. Larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 from 0.9243 at 0.8257.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9024; (P) 0.9041; (R1) 0.9059; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside at this point. Fall from 0.9273 is in progress for retesting 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9074 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But another fall will remain in favor as long as 55 day EMA (now at 0.9126) holds.

In the bigger picture, failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9183) affirms medium term bearish in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9273 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9178; (P) 0.9234; (R1) 0.9276; More

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, firm break of 0.9287 resistance will confirm short term bottoming at 0.9058, and bring stronger rise to 0.9407 resistance. On the downside, however, sustained break of 0.9058 will resume larger decline from 1.0146 instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 should be a medium term down trend itself. Next target is a test on 0.8756 low. Strong support should be seen there to bring rebound. Still, further decline will now be expected as long as 0.9407 resistance holds, in any case.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9821; (P) 0.9857; (R1) 0.9884; More

No change in USD/CHF’s outlook as it’s staying in tight range above 0.9825. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 0.9825 will indicate that fall from 1.0056 is correcting whole rise from 0.9186. In that case, deeper decline would be seen to 0.9724 fibonacci level before completion. On the upside, above 0.9982 minor resistance will suggest that the pull back is finished and bring retest of 1.0056.
