USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9835; (P) 0.9860; (R1) 0.9892; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point as it struggles to find a clear direction. On the upside, above 0.9977 will resume the rebound from 0.9734 for 1.0037 resistance. On the downside, below 0.9834 will probably extend the correction from 1.0037 through 0.9734. But we’d expect strong support from 61.8% retracement of 0.9420 to 0.1.0037 at 0.9656 to complete the correction from 1.0037 and bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, range trading continues between 0.9420/1.0342. At this point, 0.9420 appears to be a strong support level. Therefore, in case of decline attempt, we don’t expect a firm break of this level. Nonetheless, strong break of 1.0342 is also needed to confirm upside momentum. Otherwise, medium term outlook will stay neutral.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9132; (P) 0.9176; (R1) 0.9203; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF is turned neutral as it recovered after hitting 0.9149. Overall outlook is unchanged that choppy sideway trading could continue. Choppy rise from 0.8925 would still be in favor to extend higher as long as 0.9090 support holds.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds. Larger down trend could still extend through 0.8756 (2021 low). However, firm break of 0.9471 will argue that the trend has already reversed and rebound the rally from 0.8756 with another impulsive move.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9571; (P) 0.9604; (R1) 0.9631; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as it’s staying in range of 0.9533/9648. On the downside, break of 0.9533 minor support should indicate rejection by 0.9626 key fibonacci resistance. Intraday bias would then be turned to the downside side for 0.9432 support. Further break there will turn near term outlook bearish for retesting 0.9186 low. On the upside, sustained trading above 0.9626 will be another evidence of larger reversal. In that case, further rally should be seen back to next fibonacci level at 0.9900.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.0342 is seen as a medium term down trend. Main focus is on 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 (2016 high) to 0.9186 (2018 low) at 0.9626. Sustained break there will add to the case of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 0.9900 and above. However, rejection from 0.9626 will maintain medium term bearishness for another low below 0.9186.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0087; (P) 1.0103; (R1) 1.0128; More

USD/CHF is still staying in consolidation from 1.0050 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral. Also, with 1.0126 support turned resistance intact, another decline is mildly in favor. On the downside, break of 1.0050 will resume the fall from 1.0237 to retest 0.9879 key support. However, firm break of 1.0126 will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0237 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 0.9879 support holds, medium term up trend form 0.9186 is still in progress. Break of 1.0237 will target 1.0342 resistance next. For now, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside, until we see medium term upside acceleration. However, decisive break of 0.9879 will be a strong sign of medium term reversal. Focus will be turned back to 0.9716 support for confirmation.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9231; (P) 0.9259; (R1) 0.9275; More….

USD/CHF recovers mildly after hitting 4 hour 55 EMA, but stays in tight range. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9233 will bring deeper correction. But overall outlook will stay bullish as long as 0.9044 resistance turned support holds. On the upside, above 0.9323 minor resistance will bring retest of 0.9374 high.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that fall from 1.0237 has completed at 0.8756, on bullish condition in daily and weekly MACD. Current rally from 0.8756 should target 0.9901 resistance first. Break there will target 1.0237/0342 resistance zone in the medium term. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.9044 resistance turned support holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9415; (P) 0.9454; (R1) 0.9489; More

With 4 hour MACD crossed above signal line, a temporary low is formed at 0.9420 in USD/CHF. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. on the downside, below 0.9420 will target 0.9376 support. Firm break there will resume whole decline from 0.9901. Next downside target will be 100% projection of 0.9901 to 0.9502 from 0.9736 at 0.9337. On the upside, though, above 0.9493 minor resistance will argue that fall from 0.9554 is just a pull back and has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 0.9554 and above to resume the rebound from 0.9376.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). It could have completed at 0.9181 after hitting 0.9186 key support (2018 low). Break of 0.9901 will extend the rebound from 0.9181 through 1.0023 resistance. After all, medium term range trading will likely continue between 0.9181/1.0237 for some more time.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9951; (P) 0.9969; (R1) 0.9995; More…..

With 1.0018 minor resistance intact, intraday bias remains downside in USD/CHF for 0.9860 support. Recovery from 0.9860 has completed at 1.0169 and whole decline from 1.0342 is likely resuming. Break of 0.9860 will target 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9860 from 1.0169 at 0.9687. On the upside, above 1.0018 minor resistance will turn bias neutral. But outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.0169 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is staying in medium term sideway pattern between 0.9443/1.0342. In any case, decisive break of 1.0342 resistance is needed to confirm underlying strength. Otherwise, we’ll stay neutral in the pair first. In case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.9443/9548 support zone.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9040; (P) 0.9074; (R1) 0.9139; More….

Despite current retreat, intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the upside first. Sustained trading above 0.9086 resistance will pave the way back to 0.9342 resistance next. In any case, further rally will remain in favor as long as 0.9007 support holds. But firm break of 0.9007 will turn bias to the downside for 0.8886 support instead.

In the bigger picture, outlook is mixed up by the deeper than expected pull back from 0.9243. Yet there was no follow through selling after hitting 0.8886. On the upside, break of 0.9243 resistance will revive the case of medium term bottoming at 0.8851, and turn outlook bullish. However, sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8551 to 0.9243 at 0.8815 will argue that larger decline from 1.0146 is ready to resume through 0.8551 low.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9379; (P) 0.9419; (R1) 0.9449; More….

USD/CHF edged higher to 0.9459 but quickly retreated. Intraday bias remains neutral and more consolidations could be seen. But downside should be contained by 0.9318 support to bring another rally. On the upside, above 0.9459 will target 0.9471 resistance first. Break there will resume whole rally from 0.8756 to 61.8% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9471 from 0.9090 at 0.9532.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds. Larger down trend could still extend through 0.8756 (2021 low). However, firm break of 0.9471 will argue that whole down trend form 1.0342 (2016 high), has completed with waves down to 0.8756. A medium term up trend should be set up to target 1.0237/0342 resistance zone.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9513; (P) 0.9538; (R1) 0.9558; More

USD/CHF’s corrective rise from 0.9186 could still extend higher. However, we’d expect strong resistance from 0.9626 key fibonacci level to limit upside. On the downside, break of 0.9432 support will indicate near term reversal and completion of rebound from 0.9186. In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 0.9186 low. However, sustained break of 0.9626 will be another evidence of larger reversal. In this case, further rise would be seen to next fibonacci level at 0.9900.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.0342 is seen as a medium term down trend. Main focus is on 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 (2016 high) to 0.9186 (2018 low) at 0.9626. Sustained break there will add to the case of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 0.9900 and above). However, rejection from 0.9626 will maintain medium term bearishness for another low below 0.9186.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9836; (P) 0.9863; (R1) 0.9889; More

With 0.9809 minor support intact, rebound fro 0.9695 is still expected to to extend higher to 1.0014 resistance. But upside could be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.0237 to 0.9695 at 1.0030. On the downside, below 0.9809 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.9695 low.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that up trend from 0.9186 (2018 low) has completed at 1.0237 already. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9587 and below. For now, USD/CHF is seen as in long term range pattern between 0.9186 and 1.0342. Hence, we’d pay attention to bottoming signal below 0.9587. However, sustained break of 1.0014 will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.0237 high.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9362; (P) 0.9408; (R1) 0.9477; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside for the moment. The rebound from 0.9254 short term bottom should extend to 38.2% retracement of 1.0037 to 0.9254 at 0.9553 first. At this point, there is no clear sign of trend reversal yet. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from 0.9553 to limit upside and bring decline resumption. On the downside, below 0.9339 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 0.9254. Nonetheless, firm break of 0.9553 will bring stronger rebound to 55 day EMA (now at 0.9627).

In the bigger picture, the strong break of 0.9420 support suggests that fall from 1.0342 is developing into a medium term down trend. Deeper fall should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9420 from 1.0037 at 0.9115. Break will target 161.8% projection at 0.8545. In any case, break of 0.9640 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even in case of strong rebound.

USD/CHF Daily Chart

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9097; (P) 0.9146; (R1) 0.9177; More

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged as corrective pattern from 0.9058 low is extending. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. Another rise cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited by 0.9474 fibonacci level. On the downside, firm break of 0.9058 will resume larger down trend from 1.1046.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) should still be in progress with 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.9058 at 0.9474 intact. Prior rejection by 55 week EMA was a medium term bearish sign. Break of 0.9058 will resume such decline towards 0.8756 support (2021 low). But overall, this fall is still as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF edged higher to 0.8891 last week but quickly retreated. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. Further rally is in favor as long as 0.8741 support holds. Break of 0.8891 will resume the whole rebound from 0.8332 towards 0.9243 key resistance. Nevertheless, break of 0.8741 support will turn bias back to the downside for deeper pullback.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be formed at 0.8332, on bullish convergence condition in W MACD, just ahead of 0.8317 long term fibonacci support. It’s still early to decide if the larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) is reversing. But further rise should be seen to 0.9243 resistance even as a correction.

In the long term picture, price action from 0.7065 (2011 high) are seen as a corrective pattern to the multi-decade down trend from 1.8305 (2000 high). Strong rebound from 61.8% retracement of 0.7065 to 1.0342 (2016 high) will start the third leg as a medium term rally. But there will be no sign of long term reversal until firm break of 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as it’s staying in consolidation from 0.9691. In case of another rise, upside is expected to be limited by 0.9858 support turned resistance and bring fall resumption. In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is bounded in medium term range of 0.9443/1.0342 for the moment. Consolidative trading would likely continue and medium term outlook remains neutral. Break of 1.0342 key resistance is needed to confirm underlying bullish momentum in the pair. Meanwhile, downside attempts should be contained by 0.9443 key support level.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as sideway consolidation is extending. On the downside, firm break of 0.9355 will resume the decline from 1.0146 to 0.9287 fibonacci level. Near term outlook will remain bearish as long as 0.9680 minor resistance holds, in case of another recovery.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 might be a medium term down trend itself. Break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8756 to 1.0146 at 0.9287 will pave the way to 0.8756. In any case, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 day EMA (now at 0.9726) holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9682; (P) 0.9710; (R1) 0.9739; More

Outlook in USD/CHF remains unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral first. Corrective pattern from 0.9901 might extend further. Break of 0.9681 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 0.9588 support and below. Overall, downside should be contained by 61.8% retracement of 0.9181 to 0.9901 at 0.9456 to rebound. On the upside, break of 0.9802 will target a test on 0.9901 high.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). It could have completed at 0.9181 after hitting 0.9186 key support (2018 low). Break of 0.9901 will extend the rebound form 0.9181 through 1.0023 resistance. After all, medium term range trading will likely continue between 0.9181/1.0237 for some more time.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8727; (P) 0.8766; (R1) 0.8814; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the upside as rise from 0.8551 is in progress. Rejection by 0.8818 support turned resistance will maintain near term bearishness. Further break of 0.8863 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.8551. Nevertheless, decisive break of 0.8818 will carry larger bullish implication, and target 0.9146 cluster resistance

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0146 is seen as in progress as long as 0.8188 support turned resistance holds. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.8317. However, sustained break of 0.8818 should indicate medium term bottoming, and bring stronger rise back to 0.9146 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 at 0.9160), even as a correction.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9986; (P) 1.0003; (R1) 1.0019; More

USD/CHF is still staying in tight range above 0.9981 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside, break of 0.9981 will resume the decline from 1.0098. Sustained trading below 55 day EMA (now at 0.9967) should confirm completion of rise form 0.9716, after rejection by 1.0128 resistance. In that case, deeper fall would be seen back towards 0.9716 support. On the upside, break of 1.0098 will extend the rise from 0.9716 to 1.0128 high next.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF drew strong support from medium term trend line and rebounded. That suggests rise from 0.9186 is still in progress. Further break of 1.0128 will confirm up trend resumption and target 1.0342 key resistance. Nevertheless, break of 0.9716 will dampen this bullish view and at least bring deeper fall to 0.9541 key support.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9820; (P) 0.9847; (R1) 0.9894; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside at this point. Rebound from 0.9659 is in progress for 0.9975 resistance first. Decisive break there should confirm near term reversal and target 1.0237 high next. On the downside, below 0.9800 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 0.9713 support instead.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 0.9186 (2018 low) should have completed at 1.0237 already. Nevertheless, break of 0.9975 resistance will turn focus back to 1.0237. Break will resume larger up trend.
