USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9713; (P) 0.9745; (R1) 0.9761; More…..

USD/CHF’s consolidation from 0.9691 temporary low is still in progress and intraday bias remains neutral. Another recovery cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited by 0.9858 support turned resistance and bring fall resumption. Whole decline from 1.0342 is still in progress and below 0.9691 will target 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9860 from 1.0099 at 0.9617. We’ll start to look for reversal signal below there.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is bounded in medium term range of 0.9443/1.0342 for the moment. Consolidative trading would likely continue and medium term outlook remains neutral. Break of 1.0342 key resistance is needed to confirm underlying bullish momentum in the pair. Meanwhile, downside attempts should be contained by 0.9443 key support level.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9951; (P) 0.9965; (R1) 0.9987; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside with 0.9911 minor support intact. Consolidation from 1.0227 could have completed at 0.9851 already. Further rise should be seen to retest 1.0027 first. Break will resume whole rally from 0.9659. On the downside, however, break of 0.9911 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9851.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains neutral as USD/CHF is staying in range of 0.9659/1.0237. In any case, decisive break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Otherwise, more sideway trading would be seen with risk of another fall. Meanwhile, break of 0.9695 support will target 0.9541 support instead.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0078; (P) 1.0107; (R1) 1.0135; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. Upside momentum has been very unconvincing with bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. But the pair holds well above 1.0008 support so far, making another rise in favor. Above 1.0169 will turn bias to the upside and target a test on 1.0342 resistance. Based on neutral medium term outlook, we’d be cautious on topping below 1.0342. On the downside, break of 1.0008, however, will indicate completion of the rebound from 0.9860. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 0.9860.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection from 1.0327 resistance argues that USD/CHF is staying in a medium term sideway pattern. In any case, decisive break of 1.0342 resistance is needed to confirm underlying strength. Otherwise, we’ll stay neutral in the pair first. In case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.9443/9548 support zone.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8453; (P) 0.8488; (R1) 0.8516; More….

USD/CHF is extending the consolidation from 0.8332 and intraday bias stays neutral. While recovery could extend higher, outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8665 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, break of 0.8332 will resume larger fall from 0.9243 to 0.8257 projection level.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) is in progress. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 from 0.9243 at 0.8257. Sustained break there could prompt downside acceleration to 100% projection at 0.7648. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.8819 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8992; (P) 0.9022; (R1) 0.9066; More….

USD/CHF drops sharply after failing to sustain above 0.9046 resistance. But downside is contained above 0.8929 support. Intraday bias remains neutral and deeper fall is in favor. On the downside, break of 0.8929 will resume the fall from 0.9471 to retest of 0.8756 low. On the upside, firm break of 0.9046 will confirm short term bottoming at 0.8929. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside, for stronger rebound to 38.2% retracement of 0.9471 to 0.8929 at 0.9136 first.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection by 61.8% retracement of 0.9901 to 0.8756 at 0.9464 argues that rebound from 0.8756 was probably just a corrective move. That is, larger down trend from 1.0237 might be still in progress. Medium term bearish is also affirmed as the pair is now far below falling 55 week EMA. Firm break of 0.8756 low will target 61.8% projection of 1.0237 to 0.8756 from 0.9471 at 0.8556 next.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0045; (P) 1.0072; (R1) 1.0112; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF is turned neutral as the pair fails to sustain above 1.0067 key resistance and retreats sharply. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.0007 minor support will suggests near term reversal. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 0.9848/9954 support zone. On the upside, though, break of 1.0094 and sustained trading above 1.0067 will confirm resumption of larger rise from 0.9186 and should target 1.0342 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, the pullback from 1.0067 has completed at 0.9541 already. And rise from 0.9186 is likely resuming. Firm break of 1.0067 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 key resistance. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside to bring another medium term fall to extend long term range trading.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9072; (P) 0.9106; (R1) 0.9151; More

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation from 0.9009 and intraday bias remains neutral. Further fall is still expected with 0.9197 resistance intact. Break 0.9009 will resume larger down trend. However, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9197 should confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for rebound to 55 day EMA (now at 9290).

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). Current development suggests that such pattern is still extending. Sustain trading below 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.9081 will pave the way to 138.2% projection at 0.8639. On the upside, break of 0.9376 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9905; (P) 0.9956; (R1) 0.9986; More

USD/CHF drops sharply after being rejected by 1.0006 minor resistance. But it’s staying above 0.9908 temporary low. Intraday bias stays neutral first. On the downside, break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9541 to 1.0128 at 0.9904 will resume the fall from 1.0128 to 0.9848 key support level. Break there will indicate near term reversal and target 61.8% at 0.9765. On the upside, break of 1.0006 will argue that the pull back from 1.0128 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.1028.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9541 could have topped at 1.0128. But as long as 0.9541 support holds, we’d still expect rise from 0.9186 to resume at a later stage. Break of 1.0128 will target 1.0342 key resistance. However, break of 0.9514 will pave the way back to 0.9186 low.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9590; (P) 0.9644; (R1) 0.9683; More

USD/CHF is still staying in range of 0.9582/9772 and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, decisive break of 0.9772 resistance will revive the bullish case of reversal. That is, whole decline from 1.0342 has completed at 0.9437 after defending 0.9443 support. USD/CHF should then target channel resistance (now at 0.9862) next. Meanwhile, the pair is bounded inside medium term falling channel and limited below 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9783 for the moment. Break of 0.9582 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9437. This could also extend the fall from 1.0342 through 0.9437/43 key support level.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that USD/CHF has successfully defended 0.9443 key support level. And long term range trading in 0.9443/1.0342 is extending with another rise. At this point, there is no sign of an up trend yet. Hence, while further rise is expected in USD/CHF, we’ll start to be cautious on loss of momentum above 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9996. However, firm break of 0.9443 will carry larger bearish implication and would target next key support at 0.9072.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

While USD/CHF’s rebound could extend higher, overall outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8665 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, break of 0.8487 minor support will bring retest of 0.8332 low first. However, decisive break of 0.8665 will rise the change of larger trend reversal and target 0.8819 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, outlook in USD/CHF will stay bearish as long as 0.9243 resistance holds. Larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 from 0.9243 at 0.8257.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8846; (P) 0.8882; (R1) 0.8905; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF is turned neutral first with current retreat. Some consolidations would be seen, but further rally is expected as long as 0.8728 support holds. On the upside, above 0.8917 will target 61.8% projection of 0.8550 to 0.8884 from 0.8728 at 0.8934. Firm break there will target 100% projection at 0.9062 next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom as seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Further rise would be seen as long as 0.8555 support holds. But upside should be limited by 0.9243 resistance, at least on first attempt.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9339; (P) 0.9365; (R1) 0.9405; More

Consolidation from 0.9186 is still in progress and intraday bias remains neutral. Also, outlook in USD/CHF stays mildly bearish with 0.9469 resistance intact and another decline is in favor. On the downside, break of 0.9186 will extend the larger down trend to 0.9115 medium term projection level next. However, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9469 will indicate near term reversal and turn outlook bullish for 55 day EMA (now at 0.9517) and above.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.0342 is seen as a medium term down trend. Deeper decline should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9420 from 1.0037 at 0.9115. Break will target 161.8% projection at 0.8545. In any case, sustained trading above 55 day EMA is needed to be the first sign of medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even in case of strong rebound.

USD/CHF Daily Chart

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9637; (P) 0.9675; (R1) 0.9745; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays mildly on the upside for retesting 1.0063 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend. However, break of 0.9567 will extend the correction from 1.0063 with another leg, and turn bias to the downside for 61.8% retracement of 0.9193 to 1.0063 at 0.9525.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0342 (2016 high) should have completed with three waves down to 0.8756 (2021 low) already. Rise from 0.8756 is likely a medium term up trend of its own. Next target is 1.0237/0342 resistance zone. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9471 resistance turned support holds. However, sustained break of 0.9471 will extend long term range trading with another falling leg.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9905; (P) 0.9924; (R1) 0.9947; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point. With 0.9957 minor resistance intact, further decline is mildly in favor. Below 0.9900 will target 0.9856 support. Break there will pave the way to key support level at 0.9787. On the upside, above 0.9957 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0067.

In the bigger picture, as long as 0.9787 support holds, we’re still favoring the bullish case. That is, rise fro 0.9787 is resuming the whole up trend from 0.9186 and should target 1.0342 key resistance on resumption. However, break of 0.9787 will indicate medium term reversal and turn outlook bearish.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9131; (P) 0.9164; (R1) 0.9201; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.9273. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9184) retains medium term bearish in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9273 resistance and sustained trading above 55 week EMA will be an early sign of bullish trend reversal. Focus will then turn to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9951; (P) 0.9968; (R1) 0.9990; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0027 is extending. Further rise is expected as long as 0.9843 support holds. On the upside, break of 1.0027 will target 78.6% retracement of 1.0237 to 0.9659 at 1.0113 next. Break will target retest on 1.0237 high.

In the bigger picture, corrective fall from 1.0237 should have completed at 0.9659 already, ahead of 61.8% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9587. But decisive break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Otherwise, medium term outlook will stay neutral first. Meanwhile, break of 0.9695 support will extend the correction to 0.9541 support instead.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9986; (P) 1.0003; (R1) 1.0019; More

USD/CHF is still staying in tight range above 0.9981 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside, break of 0.9981 will resume the decline from 1.0098. Sustained trading below 55 day EMA (now at 0.9967) should confirm completion of rise form 0.9716, after rejection by 1.0128 resistance. In that case, deeper fall would be seen back towards 0.9716 support. On the upside, break of 1.0098 will extend the rise from 0.9716 to 1.0128 high next.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF drew strong support from medium term trend line and rebounded. That suggests rise from 0.9186 is still in progress. Further break of 1.0128 will confirm up trend resumption and target 1.0342 key resistance. Nevertheless, break of 0.9716 will dampen this bullish view and at least bring deeper fall to 0.9541 key support.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9868; (P) 0.9902; (R1) 0.9927; More

Intraday bias is back on the downside in USD/CHF with focus on trend line support (now at 0.9865). Sustained trading below there will indicate that fall from 1.0056 is a larger scale correction, correcting rise from 0.9186. And deeper fall would be seen back to 0.9724 fibonacci level before completion. Though, rebound from current level, followed by break of 0.9982 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.0056 high.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 1.0342 has completed with three waves down to 0.9186. Rise from there is currently viewed as a leg inside the long term range pattern. Hence, while further rally would be seen, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.0342 to limit upside. For now, further rise is expected as long as 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8880; (P) 0.8906; (R1) 0.8951; More

No change in USD/CHF’s outlook as sideway trading continues. On the upside, decisive break of 0.9001 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 0.8850. Intraday bias will be back on the upside 55 D EMA (now at 0.9094). Sustained break there will be a strong sign of bullish reversal. On the downside, break of 0.8850 will resume larger fall from 1.0146, to 61.8% projection of 1.0146 to 0.9058 from 0.9439 at 0.8767, which is close to 0.8756 long term support. Strong support is expected there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is in progress for 0.8756 support (2021 low). But overall, this fall is still seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal. Sustained break of 0.9058 support turned resistance will be the first sign of medium term bottoming. However, decisive break of 0.8756 will carry larger bearish implications.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9038; (P) 0.9066; (R1) 0.9094; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside with 0.9032 minor support intact. Current rebound from 0.8756 should target 100% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9044 from 0.8869 at 0.9127 next. On the downside, below 0.9032 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral again first.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). There is no clear sign of completion yet. Next target will be 138.2% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.8639. In any case, break of 0.9295 resistance is needed to signal medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of rebound.
