USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9133; (P) 0.9150; (R1) 0.9161; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as sideway trading continues. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.927.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9176) retains medium term bearishness in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9273 resistance and sustained trading above 55 week EMA will be an early sign of bullish trend reversal. Focus will then turn to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0028; (P) 1.0051; (R1) 1.0096; More…..

With 1.0135 minor resistance intact, deeper fall could still be seen in USD/CHF. Rise from 0.9443 could have completed at 1.0342 already, after failing to sustain above 1.0327 key resistance. Deeper fall would be seen back to 0.9443/9548 support zone. On the upside, above 1.0135 minor resistance will turn focus back to 1.0342 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, rejection from 1.0327 resistance suggests that consolidation pattern from there is still in progress. Fall from 1.0342 is seen as the third leg and retest of 0.9443/9548 support zone could be seen. But we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside. At this point, we’re still extend the larger rally to resume later to 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9695; (P) 0.9725; (R1) 0.9778; More….

Despite breaking 0.9772 key resitsance, USD/CHF failed to sustain above so far. Intradaybias stays neutral first. On the upside, firm break of 0.9772 key resistance will suggest that whole down trend form 1.0342 has completed. In that case, near term outlook will be turned bullish for 0.9860/1.0099 resistance zone. However, break of 09669 minor support will suggest rejection from 09772 and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9587 support. Break will target retesting 0.9420 low.

In the bigger picture, focus remains on whether 0.9443 key support (2016 low) could be taken out firmly as down trend from 1.0342 extends. There are various interpretation of the price actions. But in any case, medium term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9772 resistance holds. Current down trend could extend to 38.2% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.9090. However, break of 0.9772 will indicate that USD/CHF has successfully defended 0.9443 again and turn outlook bullish for 1.0099 resistance.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation continues below 0.9151. But further rally is expected as long as 0.8996 support holds. Firm break of 0.9151 will target 161.8% projection of 0.8550 to 0.8884 from 0.8728 at 0.9268.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom as tentatively seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Further rise would be seen as long as 0.8728 support holds. But upside should be limited by 0.9243 resistance, at least on first attempt. However, decisive break of 0.9243 will argue that the trend has already reversed and turn medium term outlook bullish.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 0.9367 is extending. On the upside, break of 0.9367 will resume the rise from 0.8925 to 0.9471 key resistance next. On the downside, however, break of 0.9214 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9017 support again.

In the bigger picture, the strong rally above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9188) now tilts favor to the case of bullish trend reversal. That is, decline from 1.3042 (2016 high) is probably completed at 0.8756 already. Sustained break of 0.9471 resistance should confirm this case and pave the way to retest 1.0342 ahead. However, rejection by 0.9471 will mix up the outlook again and retain some medium term bearishness.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9725; (P) 0.9770; (R1) 0.9803; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains cautiously on the upside. Rise from 0.9420 is resuming and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990 next. As medium term fall form 1.0342 is possibly finished, sustained break of 0.9990 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 high. However, break of 0.9736 support will mixed up the near term outlook and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9587 support instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could develop into a medium term move and target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. On the downside, break of 0.9587 support is now needed to indicate completion of the rise from 0.9420. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor in medium term.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9135; (P) 0.9162; (R1) 0.9185; More….

USD/CHF is still bounded in sideway trading and intraday bias remains neutral first.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0011; (P) 1.0056; (R1) 1.0102; More…..

USD/CHF recovers mildly today but stays in range of 0.9966/1.0140. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. With 0.9966 support intact, further rise is in favor. Above 1.0140 will turn bias to the upside and target a test on 1.0342 resistance. Based on neutral medium term outlook, we’d be cautious on topping at around 1.0342. Meanwhile, break of 0.9966 will indicate completion of the rebound from 0.9860. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 0.9860.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection from 1.0327 resistance argues that USD/CHF is staying in a medium term sideway pattern. In any case, decisive break of 1.0342 resistance is needed to confirm underlying strength. Otherwise, we’ll stay neutral in the pair first. In case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.9443/9548 support zone. Meanwhile firm break of 1.0342 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359.

Break of 0.8819 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8672 next. However, break of 0.8914 will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, with 0.9243 resistance intact, medium term outlook in USD/CHF is neutral at best. For now, more sideway trading is likely between 0.8332/9243. However, firm break of 0.9243 will indicate larger bullish trend reversal.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 1.0037 resistance will extend the rise from 0.9420 and target 1.0342 high. However, sustained break of 0.9835 resistance turned support will argue that whole rebound form 0.9420 is completed and turn outlook bearish. USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8636; (P) 0.8685; (R1) 0.8710; More…..

Outlook in USD/CHF remains unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral for now. On the downside, break of 0.8616 support will indicate rejection by 38.2% retracement of 0.9223 to 0.8431 at 0.8734, and turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.8431 low. On the upside, sustained break of 0.8734 will extend the rebound from 0.8431 to 61.8% retracement at 0.8920, even as a corrective move.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 (2023 low) are currently seen as a medium term corrective pattern, with fall from 0.9223 as the second leg. Strong support could be seen from 0.8332 to bring rebound. Yet, overall outlook will continue to stay bearish as long as 0.9243 resistance holds. Firm break of 0.8332, however, will resume larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high).

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral and consolidation from 0.8929 could extend. But outlook stays bearish for deeper decline. On the downside, break of 0.8929 will resume the fall from 0.9471 to retest 0.8756 low. However, firm break of 0.9052 will turn bias to the upside for stronger rebound, and target 38.2% retracement of 0.9471 to 0.8929 at 0.9136 first.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection by 61.8% retracement of 0.9901 to 0.8756 at 0.9464 argues that rebound from 0.8756 was probably just a corrective move. That is, larger down trend from 1.0237 might be still in progress. Medium term bearish is also affirmed as the pair is now far below falling 55 week EMA. Firm break of 0.8756 low will target 61.8% projection of 1.0237 to 0.8756 from 0.9471 at 0.8556 next.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that 0.9443 key support (2016 low) could be taken out firmly as down trend form 1.0342 extends. Further rally should be seen back to retest 0.9223. On the downside, below 0.9063 minor support is turned neutral first. In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom are tentatively seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Rejection by 0.9243 resistance, followed by sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8883 will strengthen this case, and maintain medium term bearishness. However, decisive break of 0.9243 will argue that the trend has already reversed and turn medium term outlook bullish for 1.0146.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9709; (P) 0.9737; (R1) 0.9759; More….

USD/CHF recovers ahead of 0.9704 support and intraday bias stays neutral first. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9704 resistance turned support will argue that rebound from 0.9420 has completed.
