USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9263; (P) 0.9276; (R1) 0.9303; More….

USD/CHF is still extending the consolidation from 0.9328 and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, above 0.9328 will resume the rally from 0.9084 for 0.9367 resistance. On the downside, below 0.9236 minor support will turn intraday bias back to the downside for 0.9084 instead.

In the bigger picture, the corrective structure of the rebound from 0.8925 argues that fall from 0.9471 is not complete yet. It could either be the second leg of pattern from 0.8756 (2021 low), or resuming larger down trend from 1.0237 (2018 high). We’d pay attention to the downside momentum and assess the odds later. But for now, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

A temporary top is formed at 0.9880 in USD/CHF and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Near term outlook remains bullish as long as 0.9736 support holds. Medium term fall from 1.0342 should have completed at 0.9420 already. Above 0.9880 will target 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0342 high. However, break of 0.9736 support will mixed up the near term outlook and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9587 support instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could develop into a medium term move and target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. On the downside, break of 0.9587 support is now needed to indicate completion of the rise from 0.9420. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor in medium term.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9905; (P) 0.9953; (R1) 0.9985; More…..

USD/CHF’s fall from 1.0169 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside. The pair should now target 0.9860 support next. Whole decline from 1.0342 is likely resuming and break of 0.9860 will target 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9860 from 1.0169 at 0.9687. Nonetheless, on the upside, break of 1.0002 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0169 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is staying in medium term sideway pattern between 0.9443/1.0342. In any case, decisive break of 1.0342 resistance is needed to confirm underlying strength. Otherwise, we’ll stay neutral in the pair first. In case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.9443/9548 support zone.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8934; (P) 0.8954; (R1) 0.8978; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for consolidation above 0.8900 temporary low. Risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9146 resistance holds. Below 0.8900 will target 0.8818 and possibly below. But strong support is still expected from 0.8756 to bring reversal.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high), which might have completed at 0.8818 already, just ahead of 0.8756 long term support. Sustained trading above 0.9058 support turned resistance should confirm medium term bottoming.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0087; (P) 1.0103; (R1) 1.0128; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral and more consolidation could be seen. With 1.0126 support turned resistance intact, another decline is mildly in favor. On the downside, break of 1.0050 will resume the fall from 1.0237 to retest 0.9879 key support. However, firm break of 1.0126 will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0237 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 0.9879 support holds, medium term up trend form 0.9186 is still in progress. Break of 1.0237 will target 1.0342 resistance next. For now, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside, until we see medium term upside acceleration. However, decisive break of 0.9879 will be a strong sign of medium term reversal. Focus will be turned back to 0.9716 support for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9986; (P) 0.9996; (R1) 1.0012; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral at this point as consolidation from 1.0037 is extending. In case of deeper retreat, downside should be contained above 0.9835 resistance turned support and bring rally resumption. On the upside break of 1.0037 will resume whole rally from 0.9420. And with sustained trading above 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990, USD/CHF should then target a test on 1.0342 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could is a medium term up move and should target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. On the downside, break of 0.9736 support is now needed to indicate completion of the rise from 0.9420. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor in medium term.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9189; (P) 0.9239; (R1) 0.9305; More….

Range trading continues in USD/CHF and intraday bias remains neutral. Choppy rise from 0.8925 would still be in favor to extend higher as long as 0.9090 support holds. Break of 0.9341 will target 0.9372 resistance and then 0.9471. On the downside, however, break of 0.9090 will bring deeper fall back to 0.8925 support.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds. Larger down trend could still extend through 0.8756 (2021 low). However, firm break of 0.9471 will argue that the trend has already reversed and rebound the rally from 0.8756 with another impulsive move.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9852; (P) 0.9880; (R1) 0.9910; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, above 0.9977 will resume the rebound from 0.9734 for 1.0037 resistance. On the downside, below 0.9834 will probably extend the correction from 1.0037 through 0.9734. But we’d expect strong support from 61.8% retracement of 0.9420 to 0.1.0037 at 0.9656 to complete the correction from 1.0037 and bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, range trading continues between 0.9420/1.0342. At this point, 0.9420 appears to be a strong support level. Therefore, in case of decline attempt, we don’t expect a firm break of this level. Nonetheless, strong break of 1.0342 is also needed to confirm upside momentum. Otherwise, medium term outlook will stay neutral.

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged as range trading continues. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.927.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is still struggling around 55 week EMA (now at 0.9176) and outlook is mixed for now. Confirmed rejection by the 55 week EMA will retain medium term bearishness. That is, larger fall from 1.0342 would resume through 0.8756 low at a later stage. However, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will tilt favor to the case of bullish reversal. Focus would then be turned to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0059; (P) 1.0078; (R1) 1.0106; More

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation above 1.0050 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral first. More consolidation could be seen but upside should be limited by 1.0126 support turned resistance to bring another decline. On the downside, break of 1.0050 will resume the fall from 1.0237 to retest 0.9879 key support. Though, firm break of 1.0126 will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0237 resistance.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9889; (P) 0.9912; (R1) 0.9935; More

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation between 0.9854/9983 and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, decisive break of 0.9975 key resistance will confirm completion of fall form 1.0237. Further rally would then be seen to retest this high. On the downside, though, break of 0.9854 will turn intraday bias to the downside for 0.9659 low.

In the bigger picture, the structure of the fall from 1.0237 suggests that it’s a corrective move. Sustained break of 0.9975 will argue that such correction has completed at 0.9659, ahead of 61.8% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9587. But decisive break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Otherwise, medium term outlook will stay neutral first. Meanwhile, break of 0.9695 support will extend the correction to 0.9541 support instead.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9239; (P) 0.9300; (R1) 0.9333; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as range trading continues. Further decline is still in favor as long as 0.9407 resistance holds. Break of 0.9165 will resume whole fall from 1.0146. However, firm break of 0.9407 will turn bias back to the upside for strong rebound.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 should be a medium term down trend itself. Next target is a test on 0.8756 low. Strong support should be seen there to bring rebound. Still, further decline will now be expected as long as 0.9407 resistance holds, in any case.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9356; (P) 0.9382; (R1) 0.9416; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point. Also, note that there is no clear sign of trend reversal yet. Therefore, in case of another rise, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 38.2% retracement of 1.0037 to 0.9254 at 0.9553 to limit upside and bring down trend resumption. On the downside, below 0.9339 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 0.9254. Nonetheless, firm break of 0.9553 will bring stronger rebound to 55 day EMA (now at 0.9616).

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.0342 is developing into a medium term down trend. Deeper decline should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9420 from 1.0037 at 0.9115. Break will target 161.8% projection at 0.8545. In any case, sustained trading above 55 day EMA is needed to be the first sign of medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even in case of strong rebound.

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation and intraday bas remains neutral. On the upside, break of 1.0072, and sustained trading above 1.0063, will confirm larger up trend resumption. Next target is 1.0283 projection level. However, break of 0.9914 support will indicate rejection by 1.0063, and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9779 support first.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that up trend from 0.8756 (2021 low) is still in progress. Sustained break of 1.0063 will target 100% projection of 0.9149 to 1.0063 from 0.9369 at 1.0283, and then 1.0342 (2016 high). For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.9369 support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

In the bigger picture, the break of 0.8756 (2021 low) indicates break out from the long term range pattern. For now, medium term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9146 resistance holds. Further fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.8317 next.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9916; (P) 0.9969; (R1) 1.0021; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral for the moment. While deeper retreat cannot be ruled out, break of 0.9779 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will stay cautiously bullish in case of retreat. On the upside, above 1.0019 will target 1.0063 high first. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9707; (P) 0.9793; (R1) 0.9945; More

USD/CHF’s rally extends to as high as 0.9888 so far. Break of 0.9848 resistance affirms the view that whole fall form 1.0237 has completed at 0.9181.
