USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9821; (P) 0.9857; (R1) 0.9884; More

USD/CHF continues to stay in right range above 0.9825 and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9825 will indicate that fall from 1.0056 is correcting whole rise from 0.9186. In that case, deeper decline would be seen to 0.9724 fibonacci level before completion. On the upside, above 0.9982 minor resistance will suggest that the pull back is finished and bring retest of 1.0056.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 1.0342 has completed with three waves down to 0.9186. Rise from there is currently viewed as a leg inside the long term range pattern. Hence, while further rally would be seen, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.0342 to limit upside. For now, further rise is expected as long as 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9899; (P) 0.9925; (R1) 0.9964; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside for 1.0014 resistance. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0237 high. On the downside, break of 0.9884 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9803 support instead.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 0.9186 (2018 low) should have completed at 1.0237 already. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9587 and below. For now, USD/CHF is seen as in long term range pattern between 0.9186 and 1.0342. Hence, we’d pay attention to bottoming signal below 0.9587. However, sustained break of 1.0014 will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.0237 high.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8927; (P) 0.8949; (R1) 0.8966; More

Further decline is in favor in USD/CHF with 0.9000 resistance intact. Below 0.8914 will target 0.8825 low. Break of 0.8825 will target 50% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8778 next. However, break of 0.9000 will turn bias back to the upside for 0.9049 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, with 0.9243 resistance intact, medium term outlook in USD/CHF is neutral at best. For now, more sideway trading is likely between 0.8332/9243. However, firm break of 0.9243 will indicate larger bullish trend reversal.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF’s rebound from 0.9862 extended higher last week. The development argues that corrective pull back from 1.0128 has completed with three waves down to 0.9862, ahead of 0.9484 support, on bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Initial bias is now on the upside this week for 1.0008 resistance first. Break will confirm this bullish case and target a test on 1.0128 high. On the downside, though, below 0.9911 minor support will turn focus back to 0.9848 support instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the medium term rally from 0.9186 hasn’t completed yet. Break of 1.0128 will target 1.0342 key resistance next (2016 high). On the downside, break of 0.9848 support will dampen this bullish view and turn focus back to 0.9541 key support instead.

In the long term picture, price actions from 0.7065 (2011 low) are not clearly impulsive yet. Thus, we’ll treat it as developing into a corrective pattern, at least, until a firm break of 1.0342 resistance.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8776; (P) 0.8818; (R1) 0.8858; More

No change in USD/CHF’s outlook and intraday bias stays on the downside. Fall from 0.9223 is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8672. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.8923 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

USD/CHF gyrated higher to 0.9407 last week but failed to extend gain. Initial bias is turned neutral this week first. On the upside, break of 0.9407 will resume the rebound to 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.9199 at 0.9561. However, firm break of 0.9199 will resume the whole decline from 1.0146 instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 might be a medium term down trend itself. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8756 to 1.0146 at 0.9287 will pave the way to 0.8756. In any case, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9545 resistance holds.

In the long term picture, long term sideway pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high) is extending and it’s probably in another medium term down leg. Downside will likely be contained by 0.8756 support in case of deeper fall. Overall, range trading should continue until further development.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9087; (P) 0.9098; (R1) 0.9118; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays mildly on the upside at this point. Corrective fall from 0.9223 might have completed with three waves down to 0.8987 already. Further rally should be seen back to retest 0.9223. On the downside, below 0.9063 minor support is turned neutral first. Further break of 0.8987 will resume the fall from 0.9223 to 38.2% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8883.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom are tentatively seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Rejection by 0.9243 resistance, followed by sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.8332 to 0.9223 at 0.8883 will strengthen this case, and maintain medium term bearishness. However, decisive break of 0.9243 will argue that the trend has already reversed and turn medium term outlook bullish for 1.0146.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9875; (P) 0.9898; (R1) 0.9927; More

USD/CHF’s rally resumes today and reaches as high as 0.9950 so far. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.0037 resistance next. Firm break there will pave the way to key resistance level at 1.0342. On the downside, below 0.9869 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral again and bring consolidation, before staging another rise.

For now, further rise is expected as long as 0.9648 resistance turned support holds, even in case of pull back.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9740; (P) 0.9765; (R1) 0.9799; More

USD/CHF’s fall form 0.9884 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside. Such decline is seen as a falling leg of the consolidation from 1.0063. Sustained trading below 55 day EMA (now at 0.9681) will target 0.9493 support again. On the upside, above 0.9788 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 0.9884 resistance.

In the bigger picture, medium term up trend from 0.8756 (2021 low) is still in progress. Next target is 1.0342 (2016 high). Sustained break there will resume long term up trend from 0.7065 (2011 low). This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9471 resistance turned support holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9016; (P) 0.9041; (R1) 0.9078; More

USD/CHF’s rebound from 0.8818 short term bottom resumes by breaching 0.9061 and intraday bias is back on the upside. Sustained trading above 55 D EMA (now at 0.9039) should confirm that current rally is at least correcting whole down trend from 1.0146. Further rise should then be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8818 at 0.9325. On the downside, though, break of 0.8939 will bring retest of 0.8818 low instead.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal. Sustained break of 0.9058 support turned resistance will be the first sign of medium term bottoming. However, decisive break of 0.8756 will carry larger bearish implications.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9647; (P) 0.9662; (R1) 0.9689; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside. Current fall from 1.0067 should target 0.9523 fibonacci level next. On the upside, break of 0.9678 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again. But near term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9757 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9186 low has completed at 1.0067, after failing to sustain above 1.0037 resistance. Fall from 1.0067 could extend to 61.8% retracement of 0.9816 to 1.0067 at 0.9523 and below. But for now, we don’t expect a break of 0.9186 low. On the upside, firm break of 0.9866 support turned resistance will suggests that fall from 1.0067 has completed and rise from 0.9186 is resuming.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9264; (P) 0.9279; (R1) 0.9304; More….

USD/CHF is staying in range below 0.9367 and intraday bias remains neutral first. As long as 0.9214 support holds, further rally is in favor. On the upside, break of 0.9367 will resume the rise from 0.8925 to 0.9471 key resistance next. On the downside, however, break of 0.9214 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9017 support again.

In the bigger picture, the strong rally above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9188) now tilts favor to the case of bullish trend reversal. That is, decline from 1.3042 (2016 high) is probably completed at 0.8756 already. Sustained break of 0.9471 resistance should confirm this case and pave the way to retest 1.0342 ahead. However, rejection by 0.9471 will mix up the outlook again and retain some medium term bearishness.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8814; (P) 0.8845; (R1) 0.8869; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 0.8818 is extending. Stronger recovery cannot be ruled out, but near term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8952 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, below 0.8818 will resume whole decline from 0.9243 to 100% projection of 0.9243 to 0.8886 from 0.9111 at 0.8754 next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8551 are currently seen as part of a corrective pattern to the decline from 1.0146 (2022 high). Fall from 0.9243 is seen as the second leg for now. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.8551 to 0.9243 at 0.8815. Sustained break there will bring retest of 0.8551 low. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.9111 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9135; (P) 0.9162; (R1) 0.9185; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as it’s still bounded in sideway trading inside 0.9098/9241. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.927.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9176) retains medium term bearishness in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9273 resistance and sustained trading above 55 week EMA will be an early sign of bullish trend reversal. Focus will then turn to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.0.9863; (P) 0.9894; (R1) 0.9955; More

USD/CHF’s rally is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the upside. Next target is 1.0067 resistance. On the downside, break of 0.9822 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, near term outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the pullback from 1.0067 has completed at 0.9541 already. And rise from 0.9186 is likely resuming. Firm break of 1.0067 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 key resistance. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside to bring another medium term fall to extend long term range trading.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9916; (P) 0.9961; (R1) 1.0021; More…..

USD/CHF is staying in the consolidation from 0.9860 and intraday bias remains neutral. With 1.0043 minor resistance intact, deeper decline is expected. Current fall from 1.0342 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0327. Below 0.9860 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.9443 to 1.0342 at 0.9786 and below. On the upside, break of 1.0043 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside.

In the bigger picture, rejection from 1.0327 resistance suggests that consolidation pattern from there is still in progress. Fall from 1.0342 is seen as the third leg and retest of 0.9443/9548 support zone could be seen. But we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside. At this point, we’re still expecting the larger rally to resume later to 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359, after the consolidation completes.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8831; (P) 0.8847; (R1) 0.8860; More….

USD/CHF is staying in consolidation from 0.8874 and intraday bias remains neutral. On the upside, firm break of 0.8874 will resume the rise from 0.8551. Next target is 0.9146 cluster resistance. On the downside, though, break of 0.8743 minor support will argue that rebound from 0.8551 has completed, and bring retest of this low.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 0.8551 medium term bottom is currently seen as a correction to the downtrend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Further rally would be seen to 0.9146 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 at 0.9160). Strong resistance could be seen there to limit upside, at least on first attempt.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8742; (P) 0.8762; (R1) 0.8793; More….

USD/CHF is extending sideway trading and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside break of 0.8663 minor support should confirm rejection by 0.8818 and turn intraday bias back to the downside for retesting 0.8551 first. Nevertheless, decisive break of 0.8818 will carry larger bullish implication, and target 0.9146 cluster resistance next.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0146 is seen as in progress as long as 0.8188 support turned resistance holds. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.8317. However, sustained break of 0.8818 should indicate medium term bottoming, and bring stronger rise back to 0.9146 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 at 0.9160), even as a correction.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9577; (P) 0.9624; (R1) 0.9658; More

With 0.9669 minor resistance intact, intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside for the moment. Correction from 0.9901 is in its third leg. Deeper fall could be seen through 0.9592 support to 0.9502. But downside should be contained by 61.8% retracement of 0.9181 to 0.9901 at 0.9456 to rebound. On the upside, above 0.9669 minor resistance will turn bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). It could have completed at 0.9181 after hitting 0.9186 key support (2018 low). Break of 0.9901 will extend the rebound form 0.9181 through 1.0023 resistance. After all, medium term range trading will likely continue between 0.9181/1.0237 for some more time.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9575; (P) 0.9609; (R1) 0.9661; More

Range trading continues in USD/CHF and intraday bias remains neutral. Strong support is expected at 61.8% retracement of 0.9193 to 1.0063 at 0.9525 to complete the pull back from 1.0063. On the upside, above 0.9763 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0063 high. However, sustained break of 0.9525 will bring deeper decline to 0.9193 support.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0342 (2016 high) should have completed with three waves down to 0.8756 (2021 low) already. Rise from 0.8756 is likely a medium term up trend of its own. Next target is 1.0237/0342 resistance zone. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9471 resistance turned support holds. However, sustained break of 0.9471 will extend long term range trading with another falling leg.
