EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1394; (P) 1.1419 (R1) 1.1447; More…..

EUR/USD’s retreat from 1.1444 is still in progress and intraday bias remains neutral. Deeper fall cannot be ruled out. But downside should be contained by 1.1291 support to bring another rise. Break of 1.1444 will extend the rally from 1.0339 low to 1.1615 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 1.1298 resistance further affirm medium term reversal. That is an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise would be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.1776). Sustained break there will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 next. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1118 support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0766; (P) 1.0785 (R1) 1.0804; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0824 temporary top continues. Further rise remains in favor as long as 1.0718 minor support holds. Break of 1.0828 resistance will extend the rise from 1.0339 to 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0494 at 1.0983. However, as rise from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. We’d expect upside to be limited by 1.0983 to complete the correction. On the downside, break of 1.0718 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.0494 support first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to resume later. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1618; (P) 1.1657; (R1) 1.1718; More…..

EUR/USD’s rally is still in progress and reaches as high as 1.1727 so far. Intraday bias remains on the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. We’d expect upside to be limited there, at least on initial attempt, to bring near term reversal. However, break of 1.1529 minor support is needed to signal completion of the rebound first. Otherwise, further rise will remain in favor even in case of retreat. Break of 1.1529 will bring retest of 1.1300 low. After all, consolidation from 1.1300 will extend for a while before completion.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1300, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and some consolidations would be seen. But still, note that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Thus, we’d expect fall from 1.2555 high to resume after consolidation completes. Below 1.1300 should send EUR/USD through 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. And, in that case, EUR/USD would head to retest 1.0339 (2017 low).

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1825; (P) 1.1855; (R1) 1.1872; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, sustained break of 1.1907 resistance will indicate that fall from 1.2265, as well as the consolidation pattern from 1.2348, have completed. Near term outlook will be turned bullish for 1.2265/2348 resistance zone. However, on the downside, rejection by 1.1907 followed by break of 1.1792 support will dampen the bullish case, and turn bias back to the downside for 1.1663 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2273; (P) 1.2309 (R1) 1.2337; More….

EUR/USD’s strong break of 1.2285 support should now confirm completion of the three wave rebound from 1.2154, at 1.2475. Intraday bias is back to the downside for 1.2238 support and then 1.2154. Note that, current development is also seen as another sign of rejection by 1.2516 key fibonacci level. Firm break of 1.2154 will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708. This will now be the preferred case as long as 1.2344 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.1553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862 in medium term.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0607; (P) 1.0642 (R1) 1.0695; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Rebound from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. Below 1.0453 will argue that it’s completed and turn bias back to the downside for 1.0339 support. Break there will extend the larger down trend towards parity. In case of another rise, we’d expect upside to be limited by 1.0872 resistance and bring reversal.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1350; (P) 1.1384; (R1) 1.1406; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.1335 temporary low. With 1.1493 resistance intact, further decline is expected. Below 1.1335 will target 1.1300 low first. Decisive break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.14983 resistance will likely extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise towards 1.1814 before larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9660; (P) 0.9718; (R1) 0.9762; More

Despite loss of downside momentum, further decline is still in favor in EUR/USD for retesting 0.9534 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend for 100% projection of 1.0368 to 0.9534 from 0.9998 at 0.9163. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9998 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, break of 0.9998 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even with strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0516; (P) 1.0566; (R1) 1.0595; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Fall from 1.1032 is in progress for 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. Strong support could be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. Break of 1.0668 support turned resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0803 resistance and above. However, sustained break of 1.0463 will carry larger bearish implications.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0482 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) should continue to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. However, sustained break of 1.0482 will bring deeper fall to 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0106, even as a corrective pull back.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0843; (P) 1.0866; (R1) 1.0879; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral. More consolidations could still be seen. On the upside, break of 1.0894 will resume the rally from 1.0601 to 1.0980 resistance next. However, break of 1.0804 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0752 resistance turned support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern. Fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg and could have completed. Firm break of 1.1138 will argue that larger up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 high. On the downside, break of 1.0601 will extend the corrective pattern instead.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0999; (P) 1.1016; (R1) 1.1027; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook as intraday bias remains on the downside for 1.0989 support. Break will reaffirm the case that corrective rise from 1.0879 has completed at 1.1175. Deeper fall should then be seen to retest 1.0879 low. On the upside, above 1.1032 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1097 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, at this point, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0907; (P) 1.0928; (R1) 1.0960; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for the moment. Rally from 1.0601 is in progress and should target 100% projection of 1.0601 to 1.0915 from 1.0665 at 1.0979. On the downside, below 1.0871 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral gain first.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern, possibly a triangle, that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0601 support holds.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD’s recovery from 1.0634 extended higher last week after brief setback. Further rise is mildly in favor for now. Sustained trading above 55 EMA (now at 1.0813) will pave the way back to retest 1.1094 high. Nevertheless, break of 1.0700 minor support should resume the fall from 1.1094 through 1.0634 support.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

In the long term picture, focus is now on 55 M EMA (now at 1.1134). Rejection by this EMA will revive long term bearishness. However, sustained break above here will be affirm the case of long term bullish reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1581; (P) 1.1602; (R1) 1.1632; More

Focus is now on 1.1639 resistance in EUR/USD as rebound from 1.1523 extends today. Sustained break there will confirm short term bottoming at 1.1523. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for stronger rebound, to 55 day EMA (now at 1.1712). Break there will pave the way to 1.1908 resistance. On the downside however, break of 1.1523 will resume larger decline from 1.2265 to 1.1289 medium term fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2348 should at least be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low). As long as 1.1908 resistance holds, deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289. Nevertheless break of 1.1908 resistance will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.2348 high.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2007; (P) 1.2058; (R1) 1.2093; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral first with today’s recovery. Risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.2168 resistance holds. Break of 1.1951 will extend the correction from 1.2348 to 100% projection of 1.2348 to 1.1951 from 1.2168 at 1.1771. However, break of 1.2168 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2348 high.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1156; (P) 1.1173; (R1) 1.1200; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1111 temporary low is extending. Upside of recovery should be limited well below 1.1324 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1111 will extend down trend to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Break will target 161.8% projection at 1.0895.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1868; (P) 1.1895 (R1) 1.1918; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation from 1.2069 and intraday bias remains neutral. Below 1.1822 will bring deeper fall. But after all, there is no clear sign of trend reversal yet. Outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1661 holds. Break of 1.2069 will extend larger rise from 1.0339 to next key fibonacci level at 1.2516. Nonetheless, break of 1.1661 will bring much lengthier consolidation first.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 1.1774) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. For now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.0805 temporary low. Stronger recovery cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited by 1.1120 support turned resistance to bring down trend resumption. On the downside, firm break of 61.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1120 from 1.1494 at 1.0786 will pave they way to 100% projection at 1.0349 next.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. EUR/USD lost much moment with 4 hour MACD crossed below signal line, ahead of 1.1298 key resistance. Intraday bias is turned neutral. Further rise will remain in favor as long as 1.1109 support holds. Decisive break of 1.1298 will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. Nonetheless, we’d stay cautious on rejection from 1.1298. Break of 1.1109 will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD staying far above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0888). Also, bullish convergence condition is seen in weekly MACD. Focus will now be on 1.1298 key resistance. Rejection from there will maintain medium term bearishness and would extend the whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.
