EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0797; (P) 1.0883; (R1) 1.0944; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for retesting 1.0635 low. Decisive break there will confirm larger down trend resumption. On the upside, break of 1.0969 minor resistance will extend the corrective rise from 1.0635. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1350; (P) 1.1384; (R1) 1.1406; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.1335 temporary low. With 1.1493 resistance intact, further decline is expected. Below 1.1335 will target 1.1300 low first. Decisive break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.14983 resistance will likely extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise towards 1.1814 before larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0677; (P) 1.0705; (R1) 1.0723; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral with current recovery and some consolidations would be seen. But outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0944 resistance holds. Below 1.0685 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0609/34 cluster support.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top is seen as a correction to up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to bring rebound. Yet, medium term outlook will be neutral for now, as long as 1.1274 resistance holds. However, sustained break of 1.0609/34 will raise the chance of bearish trend reversal, and target 61.8% retracement at 1.0199.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0562; (P) 1.0611; (R1) 1.0648; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral as range trading continues. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0481 resistance turned support holds. Firm break of 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0289 at 1.0754 will pave the way to 100% projection at 1.1041. However, firm break of 1.0481 will confirm short term topping and bring deeper fall to 1.0289 support.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0766; (P) 1.0785 (R1) 1.0804; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0824 temporary top continues. Further rise remains in favor as long as 1.0718 minor support holds. Break of 1.0828 resistance will extend the rise from 1.0339 to 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0494 at 1.0983. However, as rise from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. We’d expect upside to be limited by 1.0983 to complete the correction. On the downside, break of 1.0718 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.0494 support first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to resume later. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rebounded strong to 1.1116 last week but quickly reversed from there. Near term outlook is mixed for now and initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 1.0981 will resume the decline from 1.1179 for retesting 1.0879 low. On the upside, above 1.1116 will bring a test on 1.1179 resistance.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

In the long term picture, outlook remains bearish for now. EUR/USD is held below decade long trend line that started from 1.6039 (2008 high). It was also rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 before. A break of 1.0039 low will remain in favor as long as 55 month EMA (now at 1.1566) holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0830; (P) 1.0886; (R1) 1.0917; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is back on the downside with current steep fall and break of 1.0834 support. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0861) will argue that rebound from 1.0694 has completed and bring retest of this low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0941 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1045; (P) 1.1093; (R1) 1.1121; More

In the bigger picture, at this point, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. Hence, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1649; (P) 1.1682 (R1) 1.1736; More…..

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook. Recovery from 1.1507 is in progress and could extend higher. But still, it’s seen as part of the consolidation from1.1509. Upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, below 1.1628 minor support will bring retest of 1.1507 first. Break will resume the whole fall from 1.2555 through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

Intraday bias would then be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low next. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1621 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. However, break of 1.1621 will turn focus back to 1.1814 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Break will target 200% projection at 1.1891 next. On the upside, break of 1.2138 minor resistance is needed to indicate short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, current decline and firm break of 1.2154 support confirms rejection by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. A medium term top should be in place at 1.2555 and deeper decline would be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 first. We’ll look at the structure and momentum of such decline before decision if it’s an impulsive or corrective move.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1498; (P) 1.1526 (R1) 1.1544; More

EUR/USD rebounds strongly in early US session but it’s kept below 1.1582 temporary top. Intraday bias remains neutral and the consolidation from 1.1582 could extend. In case of another fall, downside should be contained by 1.1444 resistance turned support to bring rise resumption. Above 1.1582 will target 1.1615 key resistance first. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1118 support holds.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

While EUR/USD’s recovery from 1.0911 was slightly stronger than expected, it settled back into established range. Outlook is unchanged and initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 1.0911 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0832 support. Sustained trading below there will target 1.0609/34 cluster support. However, firm break of 1.1064 minor resistance will argue that pull back from 1.1274 has completed, and bring stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top could be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0966) will bring deeper correction to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1618; (P) 1.1652 (R1) 1.1693; More

EUR/USD recovers further in early US session but struggles to take out 4 hour 55 EMA firmly. Intraday bias remains neutral and consolidation from 1.1574 could extend. As noted before, break of 1.1879 resistance is needed to confirm completion of the decline from 1.2091. Otherwise, near term outlook will stay bearish. Below 1.1574 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.
