EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9911; (P) 1.0000; (R1) 1.0053; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook stays bearish with 1.0121 minor resistance intact. Break of 0.9899 will resume larger down trend to 61.8% projection of 1.0773 to 0.9951 from 1.0368 at 0.9860. Firm break there should prompt downside acceleration to 100% projection at 0.9546. However, firm break of 1.0121 will dampen this view and turn focus to 1.0368 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0368 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1631; (P) 1.1648 (R1) 1.1675; More…..

The consolidation from 1.1509 is still extending and intraday bias remains neutral. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. On the downside, decisive break of 1.1507 low will resume larger down trend from 1.2555 through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1353; (P) 1.1424; (R1) 1.1513; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation from 1.1496. Further rise is in favor as long as 1.1095 support holds. Sustained break of 1.1496 will pave the way to next fibonacci level at 1.1876. However, break of 1.1096 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0777 low.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should have formed at 1.0777 after drawing support from 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876. Rejection by 1.1456 will suggests that price actions from 1.0777 are merely a correction. Another fall below 1.0777 low would be seen at a later stage in this case.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2112; (P) 1.2171; (R1) 1.2210; More

Outlook in EUR/USD is unchanged. Intraday bias stays on the downside. Correction from 1.2348 is in progress for 1.2058 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.2348 at 1.2063). Strong support should be seen there to contain downside to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.2244 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.2348.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0616; (P) 1.0647 (R1) 1.0706; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.0520 temporary low. As long as 1.0713 minor resistance holds, deeper decline is still expected. We’re holding on to the view that fall from 1.0828 is resuming the larger down trend. Below 1.0520 will target a test on 1.0339 low. Decisive break there will confirm our bearish view and target parity. However, above 1.0713 will dampen out view and turn focus back to 1.0828 instead.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2174; (P) 1.2200; (R1) 1.2237; More

EUR/USD drops mildly today but intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, above 1.2265 will resume the rise from 1.1703 to retest 1.2348 high. On the downside, firm break of 1.1985 support should confirm that consolidation pattern from 1.2348 has started the third leg. Deeper fall would then be seen back to 1.1703 support.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0688; (P) 1.0733 (R1) 1.0759; More….

A temporary top is in place at 1.0777 in EUR/USD and intraday bias is turned neutral first. With 1.0676 minor support intact another rise is in favor. Above 1.0777 will target 1.0905 and above. But still, choppy rise from 1.0339 is still seen as a correction. Hence, we’ll pay attention to topping signal above 1.0905 again, as we’d expect larger down trend to resume later. On the downside, break of 1.0676 minor support will turn intraday bias back to the downside for 1.0569 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. this would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

EUR/USD 4 Hours Chart

EUR/USD Daily Chart

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD stayed in consolidation from 1.0481 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. As long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds, further rally is expected. On the upside, break of 1.0481 will resume the rise from 0.9534 and target 1.0609 fibonacci level. However, sustained break of 1.0092 will argue that rebound from 0.9534 has completed, and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom was in place at 0.9534, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Even as a corrective rise, rally from 0.9534 should target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0566) will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds.

In the long term picture, as long as 1.0635 support turned resistance holds (2020 low), long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008) could still extend through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0635 will confirm bottoming and at least turn long term outlook neutral.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0730; (P) 1.0753; (R1) 1.0780; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside despite some loss of upside momentum. Current rally from 0.9534 would target 61.8% projection of 0.9630 to 1.0733 from 1.0482 at 1.1164. On the downside, below 1.0711 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral again first. But near term outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.0482 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1231; (P) 1.1302; (R1) 1.1354; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, break of 1.1249 and sustained trading below 1.1289 long term fibonacci level will carry larger bearish implications. Deeper fall would then be seen to 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068 next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1384 minor resistance will now indicate short term bottoming, and turn bias back to the upside for rebound.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0850; (P) 1.0888; (R1) 1.0910; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Current down trend should now target 161.8% projection of 1.1172 to 1.0992 from 1.1095 at 1.0804 next. On the upside, above 1.0925 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited by 1.0992 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, the break of 1.0879 low indicates resumption of whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high). Sustained break of 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813 will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged lower to 1.1751 last week with weak downside momentum as seen in 4 hour MACD. Outlook is unchanged this week that further fall is expected as long as 1.1880 resistance holds. Current decline from 1.2265, as the third leg of correction from 1.2348 would target 1.1703 support. However, break of 1.1880 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound to 1.1974 resistance first.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

In the long term picture, focus remains on 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Sustained break there should confirm long term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above. However, rejection by 1.2555 will keep medium term outlook neutral first, and raise the prospect of down trend resumption at a later stage.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged higher to 1.1094 last week but retreated again. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0908 support holds. Break of 1.1094 will resume larger up trend to 1.1273 fibonacci level. Break there will target 61.8% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1032 from 1.0515 at 1.1441 However, considering bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD, break of 1.0908 support will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0515 support holds, even in case of deeper pull back.

In the long term picture, while it’s still early to call for long term trend reversal at this point, the strong break of 1.0635 support turned resistance (2020 low) should at least turn outlook neutral. Focus is now on 55 M EMA (now at 1.1166). Rejection by this EMA will revive long term bearishness. However, sustained break above here will be an indication underlying bullishness and target 1.2348 resistance next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0809; (P) 1.0870; (R1) 1.0907; More

Immediate focus is now on 1.0832 support in EUR/USD. Firm break there will resume whole fall from 1.1274, and target target 1.0609/34 cluster support next. On the upside, however, break of 1.0929 resistance will turn intraday bias to the upside for stronger recovery.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top should be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Fall from there is seen as a correction to the uptrend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to set the range for consolidation. Yet, medium term outlook will be neutral for now, as long as 1.1274 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2092; (P) 1.2126; (R1) 1.2175; More…..

EUR/USD failed to break through 1.2177 resistance and intraday bias stays neutral at this point. In case of another retreat, downside should be contained by 1.2003 support to bring another rise. On the upside, break of 1.2177 resume whole rise from 1.0635, and target 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0745; (P) 1.0842; (R1) 1.0892; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Fall form 1.1032 is correcting whole rise from 0.9534, and should target 1.0482 support, which is close to 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1032 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0909; (P) 1.0948 (R1) 1.1022; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for the moment and further rally should be seen. Next target is 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0569 at 1.1058. At this point, rise from 1.0339 is still seen as a corrective move. Hence we’d expect strong resistance from 1.1058 projection to limit upside and bring near term reversal. On the downside, break of 1.0874 support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0569 support first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1689; (P) 1.1716; (R1) 1.1737; More

EUR/USD drops to as low as 1.1665 so today and intraday bias remains on the downside. We’d continue to look for strong support from 1.1602/1703 support zone to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1804 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1907 resistance first. however, sustained break of 1.1602/1703 will carry larger bearish implication and pave the way to 1.1289 fibonacci support.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0979; (P) 1.1013; (R1) 1.1064; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point as range trading continues. On the downside, below 1.0899 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 61.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1120 from 1.1494 at 1.0786. However, firm break of 1.1120 will confirm short term bottoming at 1.0805. Bias will be back on the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1178) and above.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extending term range trading first.
