EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0650; (P) 1.0698; (R1) 1.0734; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, break of 1.0654 will resume the corrective fall from 1.1032 to 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. Strong support should be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. On the upside, firm break of 1.0803 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1032 high instead.

In the bigger picture, the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1753; (P) 1.1796 (R1) 1.1822; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment as it’s bounded in range of 1.1688/1908. The consolidation from 1.1908 could extend with deeper pull back. But downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 1.1119 to 1.1908 at 1.1606 to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.1908 will extend recent up trend to 1.2042 long term support turned resistance next.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 1.1768) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0820; (P) 1.0838; (R1) 1.0865; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays on the downside at this point. Fall from 1.1138 is in progress to 1.0722 support first. Decisive break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0447 has completed, and target this low. However, on the upside, break of 1.0931 will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0952; (P) 1.0974; (R1) 1.0995; More

EUR/USD is still extending the consolidation from 1.0911 and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside, break of 1.0911 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0832 support. Sustained trading below there will target 1.0609/34 cluster support. However, firm break of 1.1046 minor resistance will argue that pull back from 1.1274 has completed, and bring stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top could be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0966) will bring deeper correction to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to set the range for consolidation.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0534; (P) 1.0554; (R1) 1.0584; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral at this point. On the downside, break of 1.0522 support will confirm rejection by 55 D EMA, and retain near term bearishness. Intraday bias will be back on the downside for 1.0447. Break there will resume larger fall from 1.1274. On the other, strong bounce from current level, followed by break above 1.0693, rebound from 1.0447 to 1.0764 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1274 to 1.0447 at 1.0763).

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top could still be a correction to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). But chance of a complete trend reversal is rising. In either case, current fall should target 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199 next. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.0668) holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1714; (P) 1.1736 (R1) 1.1759; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as pull back from 1.1860 continues. Near term outlook remains cautiously bullish with 1.1677 support intact. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1553 already, ahead of 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. Above 1.1860 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high. However, break of 1.1677 will dampen this bullish view and turn focus back to 1.1553 low instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1373) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1502; (P) 1.1596; (R1) 1.1657; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays mildly on the downside for 1.1523 support first. Break there will resume the fall from 1.2265, and that from 1.2348 too, for long term fibonacci level at 1.1289 next. For now, further decline is expected as long as 1.1691 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2348 should at least be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low). As long as 1.1908 resistance holds, deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289. Nevertheless break of 1.1908 resistance will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.2348 high.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1922; (P) 1.1945 (R1) 1.1977; More

EUR/USD is staying in range of 1.1822/1994. Intraday bias remains neutral first. With 1.1822 support intact, near term outlook stays bullish for another rise. Above 1.1994 minor resistance will turn bias to the upside for 1.2091 first. Break there will extend larger rise from 1.0339 and target next key fibonacci level at 1.2516. But considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.1822 will confirm short term topping and bring deeper fall back to 1.1661 support and below.

In the bigger picture, rise from medium term bottom at 1.0339 is still in progress for 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. However, it should be noted that there is no confirmation of trend reversal yet. That is, such rebound from 1.0399 could be a correction. And the long term fall fro 1.6039 (2008 high) could resume. Hence, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But after all, break of 1.1661 is needed to indicate medium term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of pull back.

NO change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias stays neutral despite the dip in early US session. On the upside, break of 1.2445 will target a test on 1.2555 high. Decisive break there will resume medium term rally and carry larger bullish implication. But again, break of 1.2268 will argue that fall from 1.2555 is resuming. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.2154 support and below.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.1553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern, which might still be in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly below. Nevertheless, on the upside, firm break of 1.1138 will argue that larger up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 high.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1750; (P) 1.1780 (R1) 1.1799; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Focus stays on 1.1712 cluster support (61.8% retracement of 1.1553 to 1.1960 at 1.1708). Decisive break there will indicate that rebound from 1.1553 has completed at 1.1960. In that case, deeper fall would be seen to 1.1553 and possibly below to extend the decline from 1.2091. Meanwhile, with 1.1712 support intact, break of 1.1814 minor resistance will retain near term bullishness. And in that case, intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.1960. Break will target 1.2091 high.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1423) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

Risk stays mildly on the downside as long as 1.2242 resistance holds. Break of 1.1990 will extend the pattern through 1.1951 support, to 100% projection of 1.2348 to 1.1951 from 1.2242 at 1.1845.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0668; (P) 1.0741 (R1) 1.0786; More

EUR/USD’s decline is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside. Current down trend should target 100% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0495 next. On the upside, break of 1.0935 resistance is needed to indicate short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1185 support turned resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1185 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extending term range trading first.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD stayed in corrective trading below 1.2019 last week. But downside is contained above 1.1822 support so far. Hence, near term outlook remains bullish. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Above 1.1994 will target 1.2091 high.

Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of pull back.

In the long term picture, 1.0339 is now seen as an important bottom as the down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) could have completed. It’s still early to decide whether price action form 1.0339 is developing into a corrective or impulsive move. But in either case, further rally would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516

In the long term picture, current development suggests that long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is ready to resume. Break of 1.0339 will target 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. Decisive break there could bring downside acceleration towards 100% projection at 0.8694.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook stays bearish with trading inside the falling channel. That is larger down trend from 1.2348 (2021 high) is still in progress. Firm break of 0.9534 low will confirm this bearish case.
