EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2255; (P) 1.2307 (R1) 1.2335; More….

EUR/USD is still staying in range above 1.2205 support and intraday bias remains neutral. On the upside, break of 1.2555 will revive the bullish case of up trend resumption and target 100% projection of 1.0569 to 1.2091 from 1.1553 at 1.3075. However, break of 1.2205 will confirm rejection by 1.2516 key fibonacci level and trend reversal.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0950; (P) 1.1005; (R1) 1.1047; More

EUR/USD’s decline is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside for 100% projection of 1.1412 to 1.1026 from 1.1249 at 1.0683 next. On the upside, above 1.1049 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations again first. But recovery should be limited well below 1.1249 resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress and extending. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0581; (P) 1.0613; (R1) 1.0636; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook as sideway trading continues. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0481 resistance turned support holds. Firm break of 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0289 at 1.0754 will pave the way to 100% projection at 1.1041. However, firm break of 1.0481 will confirm short term topping and bring deeper fall to 1.0289 support.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0917; (P) 1.0944; (R1) 1.0974; More

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1138 short term top is trying to resume by breaking 1.0892 temporary low. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 1.0722 support first. Sustained break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0447 has completed, and break deeper fall back to this support. On the upside, however, break of 1.0971 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1138 high instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1661; (P) 1.1698; (R1) 1.1732; More…..

A temporary top is in place at 1.1733 in EUR/USD with today’s retreat. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. While further rise cannot be ruled out yet, we’d continue to expect strong resistance from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779 to limit upside, at least on first attempt, to bring near term reversal. On the downside, break of 1.1529 minor will indicate completion of the rebound and turn bias to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low. After all, consolidation from 1.1300 will extend for a while before completion.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1300, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and some consolidations would be seen. But still, note that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Thus, we’d expect fall from 1.2555 high to resume after consolidation completes. Below 1.1300 should send EUR/USD through 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. And, in that case, EUR/USD would head to retest 1.0339 (2017 low).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0840; (P) 1.0857; (R1) 1.0872; More

EUR/USD dips notably today but stays above 1.0810 resistance turned support. Intraday bias remains neutral and further rally is still in favor. On the upside, break of 1.0894 will resume the rise from 1.0601 to 1.0980 resistance. Decisive break there will confirm that whole fall from 1.1138 has completed at 1.0601 already. However, firm break of 1.0810 will dampen this bullish case, and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern. Fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg and could have completed. Firm break of 1.1138 will argue that larger up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 high. On the downside, break of 1.0601 will extend the corrective pattern instead.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0716; (P) 1.0742 (R1) 1.0774; More…..

A temporary top is in place at 1.0744. Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral first. Above 1.0774 will extend the rise from 1.0339. But such rise is seen as a corrective move and should be limited by 1.0872 resistance. On the downside, below 1.0588 minor support will argue that it’s completed and turn bias back to the downside for 1.0339 support.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0766; (P) 1.0816; (R1) 1.0902; More

With 1.0729 minor support intact, intraday bias in EUR/USD stays mildly on the upside. Current rise from 0.9534 should target 61.8% projection of 0.9630 to 1.0733 from 1.0482 at 1.1164 next. On the downside, below 1.0729 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral again first. But near term outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.0482 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the rally from 0.9534 low is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rally is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1156; (P) 1.1182 (R1) 1.1219; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as it’s still bounded in sideway trading in range of 1.1109/1295. With 1.1109 support intact, there is no indication of reversal yet. Decisive break of 1.1298 key resistance will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. On the downside, break of 1.1109 support will indicate short term topping and rejection from 1.1298. In such case, intraday bias will be turned to the downside for 1.0838 support.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD staying far above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0941). Also, bullish convergence condition is seen in weekly MACD. Focus will now be on 1.1298 key resistance. Rejection from there will maintain medium term bearishness and would extend the whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6524; (P) 1.6572; (R1) 1.6643; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral as consolidation continues in range of 1.6439/6742. Near term outlook will stay cautiously bullish as long as 1.6439 support holds. On the upside, above 1.6677 will target 1.6742 first. Decisive break there will resume whole rise from 1.6127 and target 1.6844 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Break of 1.6844 resistance will argue that this up trend is ready to resume through 1.7062 high. In case of another fall, strong support should be seen around 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to bring rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1281; (P) 1.1314; (R1) 1.1334; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1495). On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger fall from 1.2348.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0707; (P) 1.0747 (R1) 1.0790; More…..

EUR/USD is still staying above 1.0619 minor support and intraday bias remains neutral first. As noted before, choppy rise from 1.0339 is seen as a correction. Hence, in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 1.0872 resistance and bring fall resumption eventually. Break of 1.0619 will argue that the corrective rise is completed and turn bias to the downside for retesting 1.0339 low.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1950; (P) 1.1972; (R1) 1.1987; More….

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook as focus stays on 1.1988 resistance. Decisive break there should affirm the case that correction from 1.2348 has completed at 1.1703. Further rally should then be seen to retest 1.2242/2348 resistance zone. On the downside, below 1.1876 minor support will dampen the bullish case, and turn bias back to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1694.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1681; (P) 1.1705 (R1) 1.1733; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral again as it lost upside moment. Outlook is unchanged though as consolidation from 1.1507 might extend. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. On the downside, below 1.1612 will bring retest of 1.1507 low first. Decisive break there will resume larger fall from 1.2555. In that case, EUR/USD should drop through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1679; (P) 1.1718; (R1) 1.1748; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral with today’s recovery. Further decline is expected with 1.1771 minor resistance intact. Below 1.1688 will target 1.1612 support first. Break will resume whole corrective fall from 1.2011. Next target is 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485. Though, break of 1.1771 will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1830 resistance first.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0124; (P) 1.0173; (R1) 1.0248; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral first. On the upside, above 1.0277 minor resistance will target 1.0348 resistance first. Break there will target channel resistance at 1.0469. on the downside, break of 1.0095 minor support will bring retest of 0.9951 low instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0773 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1777; (P) 1.1809; (R1) 1.1848; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral for the moment. Another fall is still mildly in favor with 1.1880 resistance intact. On the downside, break of 1.1751 will resume the fall from 1.2265, as the third leg of correction from 1.2348, to 1.1703 support. However, on the upside, break of 1.1880 resistance will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside, for stronger rebound to 1.1974 resistance first.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1113; (P) 1.1138 (R1) 1.1159; More….

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1295 extended lower but it’s still staying above 1.1109 support. Intraday bias remains neutral with focus on 1.1298 key resistance. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. On the downside, break of 1.1109 support will indicate short term topping and rejection from 1.1298. In such case, intraday bias will be turned to the downside for 1.0838 support.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD staying far above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0932).

EUR/USD Daily Chart

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1415; (P) 1.1449; (R1) 1.1486; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside at this point. A medium term bottom could be in place at 1.1120, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Break of 1.1482 resistance will target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 to 1.1120 at 1.1589 next. Sustained break there will argue that whole fall from 1.2348 has completed too and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1879. On the downside, break of 1.1329 minor support will mix up the outlook and turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is seen as a leg inside the range pattern from 1.2555 (2018 high). Sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.1613) will argue that it has completed and stronger rise would be seen back towards top of the range between 1.2348 and 1.2555. However, firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1347; (P) 1.1372; (R1) 1.1398; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias stays neutral first. With 1.1265 minor support intact, further rally will remain mildly in favor. On the upside break of 1.1482 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 to 1.1120 at 1.1589 next. Sustained break there will argue that whole fall from 1.2348 has completed too and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1879. On the downside, however, break of 1.1265 support will dampen this bullish view and bring retest of 1.1120 low instead.
