EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1718; (P) 1.1744; (R1) 1.1771; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first. On the upside, break of 1.1769 will argue that corrective pull back has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.2011. On the downside, break of 1.1612 will extend the fall from 1.2011 short term top to 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485 instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1954; (P) 1.1981 (R1) 1.2015; More….

EUR/USD’s decline extends in early US session and reaches as low as 1.1916 so far. Intraday bias remains on the downside for 200% projection of 1.2475 to 1.2214 from 1.2413 at 1.1891. Break will target 261.8% projection at 1.1730. On the upside, though, break of 1.1993 minor resistance will indicate short term bottoming and bring stronger rebound back to 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 1.2086) or above.

In the bigger picture, current decline and firm break of 1.2154 support confirms rejection by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. A medium term top should be in place at 1.2555 and deeper decline would be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 first. With current downside acceleration, there is prospect of hitting 61.8% retracement at 1.1186 before completing the decline. But still, we’ll need to look at the structure to before deciding if it’s a corrective or impulsive move.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1505; (P) 1.1590 (R1) 1.1638; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral as it just recovered ahead of 1.1507 low. More consolidations could be seen but upside of recovery should be limited by 1.1851 resistance. On the downside, firm break of 1.1507 will resume whole fall from 1.2555 through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2110; (P) 1.2147; (R1) 1.2177; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, break of 1.2222 minor resistance will extend the rebound form 1.2052 to retest 1.2348 high. On the downside, however, firm break of 1.2052 support will extend the correction from 1.2348. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.2348 at 1.1887.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0468; (P) 1.0512 (R1) 1.0594; More

EUR/USD is still bounded in range above 1.0348 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.0641 resistance will confirm short term bottoming at 1.0348, ahead of 1.0339 long term support. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.0805 support turned resistance. On the downside, however, decisive break of 1.0339 will carry larger bearish implication and target 161.8% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0069.

In the bigger picture, break of medium term channel support suggests downside acceleration. Current decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is probably resuming long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Decisive break of 1.0339 will confirm this bearish case. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0805 support turned resistance holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1589; (P) 1.1641 (R1) 1.1691; More…..

Outlook in EUR/USD remains unchanged as consolidations continue above 1.1507 temporary low. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. Stronger recovery cannot be ruled out. But in that case, upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption. Decline from 1.2555 is still in progress. Firm break of 1.1507 will send EUR/USD through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged higher to 1.0594 last week but then turned sideway. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 1.0442 support will indicate rejection by 1.0609 fibonacci level. Bias will be back on the downside for 1.0222 support and below. However, firm break of 1.0594/0609 resistance zone will carry larger bullish implication. Next near term target is 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0222 at 1.0687, and then 100% projection at 1.0974.

In the bigger picture, focus is now on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

In the long term picture, as long as 1.0635 support turned resistance holds (2020 low), long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008) could still extend through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0635 will confirm bottoming and at least turn long term outlook neutral.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1196; (P) 1.1213; (R1) 1.1226; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral with today’s recovery. Further fall is expected as long as 1.1373 minor resistance holds. Break of 1.1185 will resume the down trend from 1.2348 to 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068 next. However, firm break of 1.1373 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2229; (P) 1.2286; (R1) 1.2328; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation from 1.2348 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Further rise is still expected with 1.2214 support intact. On the upside, break of 1.2348 will resume larger up trend for 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next. Though, considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.2214 will suggest short term topping. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside, for pull back to 1.2058 support.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0875; (P) 1.0923; (R1) 1.0954; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation below 1.0972 temporary low. Further rise is expected as long as 1.0787 support holds. Above 1.0972 will resume the rally from 1.0515 to retest 01.1032 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534. However, break of 1.0787 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0711 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0625) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0838; (P) 1.0875; (R1) 1.0922; More

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1016 is in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside. Deeper decline would be seen to 55 D EMA (now at 1.0766). On the upside, above 1.0912 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again first. Further break of 1.1016 will resume the rise from 1.0447 to retest 1.1274 high instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is tentatively seen as the second leg. Hence while further rally could be seen, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 55 D EMA will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1641; (P) 1.1699 (R1) 1.1734; More…..

EUR/USD’s break of 1.1679 minor support suggests that corrective rise from 1.1507 has completed at 1.1790 already. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1507 first. Break will resume larger fall from 1.2555. In that case, EUR/USD should drop through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. On the upside, in case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring reversal.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0149; (P) 1.0176; (R1) 1.0206; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral first, and risk stays on the downside as long as 1.0368 resistance holds. Rebound from 0.9951 should have completed at 1.0368 after rejection by 55 day EMA, as well as falling channel resistance. Break of 1.0121 minor support will target a retest on 0.9951 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0773 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1559; (P) 1.1591; (R1) 1.1630; More…..

A temporary top is in place at 1.1622 in EUR/USD and intraday bias is turned neutral. For now, rebound from 1.1300 is still seen as a correction. In case of another rise, we’d expect strong resistance from 1.1745 to limit upside to bring larger down trend resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1493 minor support will suggest that the rebound is completed. Intraday bias would be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.2555 medium term is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Note again that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Sustained break of 1.1186 could pave the way back to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779 holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1231; (P) 1.1299; (R1) 1.1340; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation form 1.1496 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Further rise is in favor as long as 1.1095 support holds. Sustained break of 1.1496 will pave the way to next fibonacci level at 1.1876. However, break of 1.1096 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0777 low.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should have formed at 1.0777 after drawing support from 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876. Rejection by 1.1456 will suggests that price actions from 1.0777 are merely a correction. Another fall below 1.0777 low would be seen at a later stage in this case.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1821; (P) 1.1879 (R1) 1.1922; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Current fall is in progress to 261.8% projection of 1.2475 to 1.2214 from 1.2413 at 1.1730. As it will then be close to 1.1708 medium term fibonacci level, some support could be seen around 1.1708/30 to bring rebound. Though, break of 1.1938 minor resistance is needed to be the first sign of short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of recovery.

But still, we’ll need to look at the structure before deciding if it’s a corrective or impulsive move.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1281; (P) 1.1312; (R1) 1.1359; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook as range trading continues. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger decline from 1.2348. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1663 from 1.1908 at 1.0934. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1415) and above.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1652; (P) 1.1721 (R1) 1.1766; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for the moment. Current decline from 1.2555 would target 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 next. Though, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.1829 minor resistance will suggest short term bottoming. And, lengthier consolidation would be seen in this case, before staging another fall.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further. Break of 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 will pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 55 day EMA (now at 1.2076) holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0919; (P) 1.0957; (R1) 1.1022; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first. On the upside, break of 1.1008 resistance will extend the corrective pattern from 1.0635 with another rise towards 1.1147 resistance. But upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167. On the downside, break of 1.0870 minor support will turn bias to the downside and target a test on 1.0635 low.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2229; (P) 1.2286; (R1) 1.2328; More

EUR/USD recovers after drawing support from 1.2214 minor support. But upside is limited well below 1.2348 temporary top. Intraday bias remains neutral first and further rise is still in favor.
