EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1632; (P) 1.1667; (R1) 1.1725; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for 1.1733 resistance and above. For now, we’d still expect strong resistance from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779 to limit upside. On the downside, break of 1.1608 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.1525 support. Break will indicate completion of whole rebound from 1.1300. However, firm break of 1.1779 will extend the rise to 100% projection of 1.1300 to 1.1733 from 1.1525 at 1.1958.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1300, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and some consolidations would be seen. But still, note that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Thus, we’d expect fall from 1.2555 high to resume after consolidation completes. Below 1.1300 should send EUR/USD through 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. And, in that case, EUR/USD would head to retest 1.0339 (2017 low).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1821; (P) 1.1879 (R1) 1.1922; More….

EUR/USD continues to lose downside momentum as seen in 4 hour MACD. But with 1.1938 minor resistance intact, intraday bias stays on the downside for deeper fall. Current decline would target 261.8% projection of 1.2475 to 1.2214 from 1.2413 at 1.1730. As it will then be close to 1.1708 medium term fibonacci level, some support could be seen around 1.1708/30 to bring rebound. Meanwhile, break of 1.1938 should confirm short term bottoming, on bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. And stronger rebound would be seen first.

In the bigger picture, current decline and firm break of 1.2154 support confirms rejection by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. A medium term top should be in place at 1.2555 and deeper decline would be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 first. With current downside acceleration, there is prospect of hitting 61.8% retracement at 1.1186 before completing the decline. But still, we’ll need to look at the structure before deciding if it’s a corrective or impulsive move.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2107; (P) 1.2141; (R1) 1.2181; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside at this point. Current rally should target 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next. On the downside, break of 1.2087 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidation first, before staging another rise.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0875; (P) 1.0889; (R1) 1.0905; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and further rise is in favor as long as 1.0871 minor support holds. Break of 1.0947 will target 100% projection of 1.0601 to 1.0915 from 1.0665 at 1.0979. However, firm break of 1.0871 will turn bias to the downside for deeper fall to 55 D EMA (now at 1.0810) and possibly below.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern, possibly a triangle, that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0601 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0278; (P) 1.0319; (R1) 1.0366; More

EUR/USD is losing upside momentum as seen in 4 hour MACD, but intraday bias stays on the upside. Current rise should target 1.0609 fibonacci level next. On the downside, below 1.0270 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first, before staging another rally.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom was in place at 0.9534, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Even as a corrective rise, rally from 0.9534 should target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0566) will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2118; (P) 1.2148; (R1) 1.2185; More

With 1.2222 minor resistance intact, EUR/USD’s correction from 1.2348 could extend lower. But downside should be contained by 1.2058 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.2348 at 1.2063) to bring rebound. Break of 1.2222 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.2348 high. However, firm break of 1.2058 will target 61.8% retracement at 1.1887.

We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1012; (P) 1.1034; (R1) 1.1049; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Rebound from 1.0926 is seen as a corrective move. Further rise cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited below 1.1164 resistance to bring down trend resumption. Break of 1.0926 will resume lager down trend from 1.2555. However, firm break of 1.1164 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.1412 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1691; (P) 1.1720 (R1) 1.1750; More…..

EUR/USD’s decline is still in progress and reaches as low as 1.1661 so far. Intraday bias remains on the downside and the fall from 1.2555 should extend to 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 next. On the upside, above 1.1750 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. Further break of 1.1822 support turned resistance will indicate short term bottoming and bring lengthier consolidation.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further. Break of 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 will pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 55 day EMA (now at 1.2049) holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1323; (P) 1.1373; (R1) 1.1424; More

EUR/USD’s rally lost momentum again after hitting 1.1422. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. On the upside, above 1.1422 will target 1.1496 key resistance. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, break of 1.1241 support will now indicate short term topping, and turn bias to the downside.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1243; (P) 1.1253; (R1) 1.1269; More…..

EUR/USD’s fall resumes after brief consolidation and reaches as low as 1.1213 so far. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 1.1176 key support. Decisive break there will resume whole down trend form 1.2555. For now, near term outlook will be cautiously bearish as long as 1.1324 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD has been losing downside momentum around 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. But for now, there is no clear sign of medium term reversal yet. Downside from 1.2555 is expected to resume sooner or later as long as 1.1569 structural resistance holds. Decisive break of 1.1186. could pave the way back to 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0970; (P) 1.1011; (R1) 1.1072; More

EUIR/USD rises to as high as 1.1164 so far. Strong break of 61.8% retracement of 1.1239 to 1.0777 at 1.1063 raises the chance of larger bullish reversal. Intraday bias now remains on the upside for 1.1239 resistance. Sustained break there will turn outlook bullish. On the downside, break of 1.1038 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, larger down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in favor to extend through 1.0777 low. However, sustained break of 1.1239 will also have 55 week EMA (1.1154) decisive taken out. That should confirm medium term bottoming, with bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise could then be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2194; (P) 1.2220 (R1) 1.2258; More….

A temporary low is in place at 1.2181 and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Some consolidations could be seen. But upside should be limited by 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 1.2295) to bring another decline. below 1.2181 will target 1.2154 key support level. Decisive break there should confirm the bearish case of medium term reversal. And EUR/USD should then target 161.8% projection of 1.2475 to 1.2214 from 1.2413 at 1.1991.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Firm break of 1.2154 support will confirm rejection by this fibonacci level. And in that case, a medium term top is at least formed at 1.2555. EUR/USD should then head back to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 first. We’ll look at the structure and momentum of such decline before decision if it’s an impulsive or corrective move.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0788; (P) 1.0843; (R1) 1.0873; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Price actions from 1.0635 are seen as a corrective pattern, which might extend further. On the upside, above 1.0895 minor resistance will turn bias to the upside for 1.1019 resistance. But in that case, upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167. On the downside, break of 1.0727 will target a test on 1.0635 low.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1788; (P) 1.1820; (R1) 1.1843; More

EUR/USD is staying in tight range below falling 4 hour 55 EMA and outlook is unchanged. With 1.1880 resistance intact, further fall is expected. Current decline from 1.2265, as the third leg of correction from 1.2348, could target 1.1703 support. On the upside, though, break of 1.1880 resistance should indicate short term bottoming, and bring stronger rebound to 1.1974 resistance first.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1775; (P) 1.1829; (R1) 1.1869; More…..

EUR/USD’s break of 1.1754 support suggests resumption of fall from 1.2011 and turns intraday bias back to the downside. More importantly, sustained trading below 1.1754 would confirm completion of a head and shoulder top, on bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Deeper decline should then be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485, to correct the rise from 1.6035. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1917 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1618; (P) 1.1657; (R1) 1.1718; More…..

EUR/USD surges to as high as 1.1696 so far today as rebound from 1.1300 extends. Intraday bias remains on the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. We’d expect upside to be limited there, at least on initial attempt, to bring near term reversal. However, break of 1.1529 minor support is needed to signal completion of the rebound first. Otherwise, further rise will remain in favor even in case of retreat. Break of 1.1529 will bring retest of 1.1300 low. After all, consolidation from 1.1300 will extend for a while before completion.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1568; (P) 1.1588; (R1) 1.1612; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.1561 temporary low. Upside of recovery should be limited by 1.1682 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1561 will target 1.1289 medium term fibonacci level. Nevertheless, sustained break of 1.1682 will bring stronger rebound back towards 1.1908 resistance.

In the bigger picture, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that rise from 1.0635 (2020 low) has completed at 1.2348. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289. Note also that rejection by 55 week EMA (1.1830) also carries medium term bearish implication. Firm break of 1.1289 will pave the way to retest 1.0635 low. On the upside, though, break of 1.1908 resistance will revive medium term bullishness and turn focus back to 1.2348 high.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0632; (P) 1.0730; (R1) 1.0824; More

EUR/USD recovers mildly as consolidation from 1.0635 temporary low extends. Further rise cannot be ruled out but upside should be limited by 1.0981 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.0635 will extend larger down trend for 1.0397 projection target next. However, sustained break of 1.0981 will indicate stronger rebound is underway back towards 1.1496 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend form 1.2555 (2018 high) should have resumed. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.0777 from 1.1496 at 1.0397. This level is close to 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1496 resistance is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0855; (P) 1.0929; (R1) 1.0970; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral for the moment, as consolidation from 1.1016 is extending. Deeper retreat cannot be ruled out, but further rally is expected as long as 1.0722 support holds. On the upside, break of 1.1016 will resume the whole rise from 1.0447 to retest 1.1274 high.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1856; (P) 1.1901 (R1) 1.1960; More….

EUR/USD’s rebound from 1.1822 extends to as high as 1.1958 so far. Intraday bias stays on the upside for 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 1.1963) and above. Nonetheless, such rebound is viewed as a corrective recovery. Therefore, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2413 to 1.1822 at 1.2048 to bring fall resumption. On the downside, below 1.1822 will resume the whole decline from 1.2555 and target 1.1708 medium term fibonacci level next.
