EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0721; (P) 1.0735; (R1) 1.0760; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 55 D EMA (now at 1.0772) will argue that pull back from 1.0915 has completed. Further rise should be seen back to 1.0915 resistance. However, break of 1.0665 will resume larger down trend through 1.0601 low instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly below . For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1658; (P) 1.1699; (R1) 1.1761; More…..

At this point, further fall remains in favor in EUR/USD with 1.1771 resistance intact. The corrective decline from 1.2011 would target 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485. On the upside, however, break of 1.1771 resistance will now be the first sign that correction from 1.2011 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.1880 for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9862; (P) 0.9930; (R1) 1.0055; More

EUR/USD’s rebound from 0.9534 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the upside. Considering bullish convergence condition in daily MACD, sustained break of 55 day EMA (now at 1.0022) will raise the chance of medium term bottoming at 0.9534. Further rally should then be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.1494 to 0.9534 at 1.0283. On the downside, though, break of 0.9734 minor support will bring retest of 0.9534 low instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, break of 1.0197 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even with strong rebound.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rebounded to 1.1879 last week but retest this then. Initial bias is neutral this week first. At this point, we’re slightly favoring the case that pull back from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1669, ahead of 1.1661 support. Above 1.1879 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high. However, break of 1.1787 will dampen this view. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside through 1.1669 low. Correction from 1.2091 would then extend to 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510 and completes there.

In the bigger picture, rise from medium term bottom at 1.0339 is not finished yet. It’s expected to continue after pull back from 1.2091 completes. And, next target will be 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. However, it should be noted that there is no confirmation of trend reversal yet. That is, such rebound from 1.0399 could be a correction. And the long term fall from 1.6039 (2008 high) could resume. Hence, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside.

In the long term picture, 1.0339 is now seen as an important bottom as the down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) could have completed. It’s still early to decide whether price action form 1.0339 is developing into a corrective or impulsive move. But in either case, further rally would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0696; (P) 1.0721; (R1) 1.0760; More….

EUR/USD dips notably in early US session but stays in range above 1.0667. Intraday bias remains neutral at this point. Further fall is expected with 1.0760 resistance intact. Decline from 1.0915 is seen as another leg in the larger corrective pattern. Break of 1.0667 will target 1.0601 and below. However, firm break of 1.0760 will turn intraday bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly further to 100% projection of 1.1274 to 1.0447 from 1.1138 at 1.0311. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1664; (P) 1.1708 (R1) 1.1734; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. Consolidation from 1.1509 could extend and stronger rise cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. On the downside , firm break of 1.1507 will resume larger down trend through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0867; (P) 1.0914; (R1) 1.0952; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays on the downside at this point. Fall from 1.1274 is in progress for 1.0832 support. Sustained trading below there will target 1.0609/34 cluster support. On the upside, break of 1.1064 resistance is needed to indicate completion of the fall. Otherwise, outlook will stay cautiously bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top could be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0966) will bring deeper correction to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to set the range for consolidation.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1385; (P) 1.1418; (R1) 1.1446; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral fist. Another rise could still be seen and above 1.1452 will target 1.1496 key resistance. Firm break there will carry larger bullish implications and target 61.8% projection of 1.0774 to 1.1422 from 1.1168 at 1.1568 next. On the downside, break of 1.1168 support is needed to confirm near term bearish reversal. Otherwise, outlook is neutral at worst for now.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2273; (P) 1.2309 (R1) 1.2337; More….

EUR/USD’s strong break of 1.2285 support should now confirm completion of the three wave rebound from 1.2154, at 1.2475. Intraday bias is back to the downside for 1.2238 support and then 1.2154. Note that, current development is also seen as another sign of rejection by 1.2516 key fibonacci level. Firm break of 1.2154 will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708. This will now be the preferred case as long as 1.2344 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.1553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862 in medium term.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1106; (P) 1.1130; (R1) 1.1157; More

EUR/USD’s rise extends to as high as 1.1199 so far. Break of 1.1179 resistance suggests resumption of rise from 1.0879. Further rise should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next. On the downside, below 1.1102 minor support will delay the bullish case and turn bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9949; (P) 0.9986; (R1) 1.0017; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias stays mildly on the downside for retesting 0.9863 low first. Firm break there will resume larger down trend. On the upside, break of 1.0197 resistance will now raise the chance of larger trend reversal, and target 1.0368 resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0368 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound. However, firm break of 1.0368 will confirm medium term bottom at 0.9863 already.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1198; (P) 1.1274; (R1) 1.1312; More

Outlook in EUR/USD remains unchanged and intraday bias remains neutral. Further decline will remain in favor as long as 1.1382 resistance holds. Break of 1.1185 will resume larger decline from 1.2348. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1663 from 1.1908 at 1.0934. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1426).

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1849; (P) 1.1882; (R1) 1.1903; More….

EUR/USD’s rebound from 1.1703 short term bottom is still in progress. Intraday bias stays on the upside for 1.1988 resistance. Firm break there will add to the case that whole correction from 1.2348 has completed. Further rally would then be seen to 1.2242 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, however, break of 1.1821 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1694 again.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0607; (P) 1.0642 (R1) 1.0695; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Rebound from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. Below 1.0453 will argue that it’s completed and turn bias back to the downside for 1.0339 support. Break there will extend the larger down trend towards parity. In case of another rise, we’d expect upside to be limited by 1.0872 resistance and bring reversal.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0903; (P) 1.0933; (R1) 1.0962; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral and more consolidations would be seen below 1.1007. While deeper retreat cannot be ruled out, downside should be contained well above 1.0776 support. On the upside, break of 1.1007 will resume recent rally from 1.0665 to 100% projection of 1.0665 to 1.0947 from 1.0776 at 1.1056 next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). However, break of 1.0776 support will extend the correction with another falling leg back towards 1.0447 support.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9849; (P) 0.9908; (R1) 0.9942; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. Further rise is in favor as long as 0.9847 minor support holds. Break of 1.0092 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.1494 to 0.9534 at 1.0283. However, break of 0.9847 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.9534/9630 support zone instead.

In the bigger picture, the case of medium term bottoming at 0.9534 building up, with bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. While it is too early to call for trend reversal, firm break of 0.9998 opens up stronger rebound back to 55 week EMA (now at 1.0630) even as a corrective rise. However, sustained trading back below 55 day EMA (now at 0.9938) will revive medium term bearishness for another fall through 0.9534 low.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1735; (P) 1.1750; (R1) 1.1773; More

EUR/USD is staying in range of 1.1663/1804 and intraday bias remains neutral first. With 1.1804 resistance intact, another fall cannot be ruled out yet. But we’d continue to look for strong support from 1.1602/1703 key support zone to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1804 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1907 resistance first. However, sustained break of 1.1602/1703 will carry larger bearish implication and pave the way to 1.1289 fibonacci support.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9670; (P) 0.9715; (R1) 0.9748; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for retesting 0.9534 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend for 100% projection of 1.0368 to 0.9534 from 0.9998 at 0.9163. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9998 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, break of 0.9998 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish even with strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0402; (P) 1.0422 (R1) 1.0455; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0348 is extending. Outlook also stays bearish as long as 1.0641 resistance holds. Decisive break of 1.0339 will carry larger bearish implication and target 161.8% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0069. Nevertheless, break of 1.0641 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for rebound.

In the bigger picture, break of medium term channel support suggests downside acceleration. Current decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is probably resuming long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Decisive break of 1.0339 will confirm this bearish case. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0805 support turned resistance holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0875; (P) 1.0923; (R1) 1.0954; More

A temporary top was formed at 1.0972 and intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral first. Further rise is expected as long as 1.0787 support holds. Above 1.0972 will resume the rally from 1.0515 to retest 01.1032 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534. However, break of 1.0787 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0711 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0625) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).
