EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1679; (P) 1.1718; (R1) 1.1748; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the downside for 1.1612 support. Break there will resume whole corrective fall from 1.2011. Next target is 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485. On the upside, break of 1.1771 minor resistance will mix up the near term outlook again and turn bias neutral again.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1636; (P) 1.1677; (R1) 1.1703; More…..

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.2011 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485. Such decline is seen as a corrective move for now. Thus, we’d look for strong support from 1.1485 to contain downside and bring rebound. However, sustained break there will pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 1.1485. On the upside, above 1.1760 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1849; (P) 1.1882; (R1) 1.1903; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the upside as rebound from 1.1703 is still in progress for 1.1988 resistance. Firm break there will add to the case that whole correction from 1.2348 has completed. Further rally would then be seen to 1.2242 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, however, break of 1.1821 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1694 again.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rebounded further to 1.1184 last week but retreated since then. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Though, the breach of 1.1120 support turned resistance argues that it’s already correcting whole fall from 1.2265. Further rise is mildly in favor as long as 1.0943 support holds. Above 1.1184 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.2265 to 1.0805 at 1.1363. However, break of 1.0943 will revive near term bearishness and bring retest of 1.0805 low first.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extending term range trading first.

In the long term picture, in any case, as long as 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 holds, the down trend from 1.6039 could still resume through 1.0339 low. However, sustained trading above 1.2516 will argue that the long term trend has reversed.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0892; (P) 1.0919; (R1) 1.0945; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0969 is extending. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0803 support holds. On the upside, above 1.0969 will resume the rise from 1.0634 to retest 1.1094 high. Decisive break there will confirm resumption of whole up trend from 0.9534. However, firm break of 1.0803 will extend the corrective pattern from 1.1094 with another falling leg, targeting 1.0634 and below.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2180; (P) 1.2215; (R1) 1.2249; More….

EUR/USD is still staying below 1.2272 resistance and intraday bias remains neutral first. More consolidations could be seen. In case of another retreat, downside should be contained by 1.2058 support to bring rebound. On the upside, though, firm break of 1.2272 will resume larger rally to 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next.

We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1084; (P) 1.1126; (R1) 1.1147; More

Focus is now back on 1.1066 support in EUR/USD. Firm break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0879 has completed. In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.0981 support for confirmation. However, strong rebound from 1.1066 will retain near term bullishness. Break of 1.1239 will extend whole rally from 1.0879 to 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move at this point. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1246; (P) 1.1265; (R1) 1.1277; More

EUR/USD drops notably today and failure to sustain above 55 day EMA dampens original bullish view. Intraday bias stays neutral but focus is back on 1.1193 minor support. Break will resume the fall from 1.1412 to retest 1.1107 low. On the upside, above 1.1285 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1412 resistance.

In the bigger picture, bullish convergence condition in daily and weekly MACD suggests that 1.1107 is a medium term bottom. However, rejection by 55 EMA retains medium term bearish. Outlook will be neutral for now. On the downside, break of 1.1107 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Meanwhile, break of 1.1412 will resume the rebound to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1047; (P) 1.1077; (R1) 1.1115; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. Further rally will remain in favor as long as 1.1011 resistance turned support holds. Above 1.1146 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1274 high first. However, firm break of 1.1011 will argue that larger correction is underway. Deeper fall would then be seen to 1.0832 support next.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 is still expected to continue as long as 1.1011 resistance turned support holds. Decisive break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next. However, firm break of 1.1011 will indicate rejection by 1.1273 and raise the chance of reversal.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1012; (P) 1.1034; (R1) 1.1049; More

Outlook in EUR/USD remains unchanged. Recovery from 1.0926 is seen as a corrective move. While further rise cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited below 1.1164 resistance to bring down trend resumption. Break of 1.0926 will resume lager down trend from 1.2555. However, firm break of 1.1164 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.1412 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0790; (P) 1.0839; (R1) 1.0868; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias remains neutral first. Break of 1.0885 minor resistance will extend the corrective pattern from 1.0635 with another rise through 1.0990. But upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167. On the downside, break of 1.0727 will target a test on 1.0635 low.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1430; (P) 1.1492; (R1) 1.1529; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral with focus on 1.1431/2 support. Break will fall from 1.1814 to retest 1.1300 low. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1621 resistance to bring another decline. However, break of 1.1621 will turn focus back to 1.1814 instead.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0731; (P) 1.0766; (R1) 1.0784; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is back on the downside as fall from 1.1094 resumes by breaking 1.0759. Current fall is seen as correcting whole up trend from 0.9534. Deeper decline should be seen to 1.0515 cluster support, 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1094 at 1.0498. On the upside, above 1.0830 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1415; (P) 1.1443 (R1) 1.1495; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment as consolidation from 1.1489 might extend. Below 1.1312 will bring deeper fall to 55 day EMA (now at 1.1201). In that case, downside should be contained by 1.1118 support to bring rise resumption. On the upside, break of 1.1489 will extend recent rally from 1.0339 to 1.1615 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 1.1298 resistance further affirm medium term reversal. That is, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise would be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.1763). Sustained break there will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 next. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1118 support holds.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1001; (P) 1.1010; (R1) 1.1019; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Stronger recovery could be seen but upside should be limited below 1.1097 resistance. Corrective rise from 1.0879 could have completed at 1.1175 already. Break of 1.0989 will resume the fall from 1.1175 to retest 1.0879 low.

In the bigger picture, at this point, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1116; (P) 1.1154; (R1) 1.1176; More

EUR/USD’s break of 1.1133 minor support argues that rebound from 1.1026 has completed at 1.1249 already, after failing to sustain above 55 day EMA. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside for 1.1026 low. Firm break there will extend the downtrend from 1.2555. In case of another rise, we’d expect strong resistance from 1.1282 to limit upside.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that down trend from 1.2555 (2018) is in progress and extending.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0722; (P) 1.0746 (R1) 1.0787; More…..

EUR/USD dips notably after hitting 1.0781. But intraday bias stays on the upside for the moment first. Further rally is in favor to 1.0828 resistance and above. Overall, rise from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. Hence, we’d upside to be limited by 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0494 at 1.0983 to bring larger down trend resumption. On the downside, break of 1.0599 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0494 support.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115.

EUR/USD 4 Hours Chart

EUR/USD Daily Chart

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD dropped notably to 0.9729 last week but then recovered. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 0.9729 will reaffirm the case the corrective rise from 0.9534 has completed at 1.0092. Deeper fall would then be seen to retest 0.9534 resistance next. However, break of 1.0092 will resume the rebound towards 1.0368 resistance instead.

EUR/USD 4 Hours Chart

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook stays bearish with trading inside the falling channel. That is larger down trend from 1.2348 (2021 high) is still in progress. Firm break of 0.9534 low will confirm this bearish case. However, break of 1.0092 will add to the case of medium term bottoming, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD, and bring further rally towards 55 week EMA (now at 1.0583).

EUR/USD Daily Chart

In the long term picture, long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is extending. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0635 support turned resistance holds.

EUR/USD Monthly Chart

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0826; (P) 1.0839; (R1) 1.0848; More

EUR/USD is losing some downside momentum but intraday bias stays on the downside for 161.8% projection of 1.1172 to 1.0992 from 1.1095 at 1.0804. Break there will target 200% projection at 1.0735 next. On the upside, above 1.0888 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited by 1.0992 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed and prior rejection by 55 week EMA affirms medium term bearishness. Sustained break of 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813 will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1714; (P) 1.1736 (R1) 1.1759; More….

EUR/USD recovers after drawing support from 4 hour 55 EMA again. But it’s staying below 1.1860 and intraday bias stays neutral first. Near term outlook remains cautiously bullish with 1.1677 support intact. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1553 already, ahead of 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. Above 1.1860 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high. However, break of 1.1677 will dampen this bullish view and turn focus back to 1.1553 low instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1373) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.
