Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0829; (P) 1.0864; (R1) 1.0904; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for retesting 1.0915 resistance. Decisive break there will resume whole rally from 1.0601 and target 100% projection of 1.0601 to 1.0915 from 1.0665 at 1.0919 next. For now, risk will stay on the upside as long as 1.0805 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that could still be in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly below. On the upside, firm break of 1.0915 resistance will start another rising leg back to 1.1138 resistance instead.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0864; (P) 1.0894; (R1) 1.0951; More

EUR/USD’s strong rebound and break of 1.0905 resistance suggests that pull back from 1.0980 has completed at 1.0834, after drawing support from 55 D EMA. Intraday bias is back on the upside for retesting 1.0980 first. Firm break there will resume whole rise from 1.0694. On the downside, sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0861) will argue that rebound from 1.0694 has completed and bring retest of this low.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

.Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0692; (P) 1.0716; (R1) 1.0754; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is back on the upside with break of 1.0723 support turned resistance. Stronger rebound would be seen to 55 D EMA (now at 1.0784). On the downside, break of 1.0677 minor support will turn intraday bias to the downside for retesting 1.0601 low.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Current fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg. While deeper decline is would be seen to 1.0447 and possibly below, Strong support should emerge from 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199 to complete the correction.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0841; (P) 1.0897; (R1) 1.0933; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Current decline from 1.1138 is in progress for 1.0722 support. Sustained break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0447 has completed, and target this low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0995 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1162; (P) 1.1199 (R1) 1.1231; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral with focus on 1.1298 key resistance. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. On the downside, break of 1.1109 support will indicate short term topping and rejection from 1.1298. In such case, intraday bias will be turned to the downside for 1.0838 support.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD staying far above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0922). Also, bullish convergence condition is seen in weekly MACD. Focus will now be on 1.1298 key resistance. Rejection from there will maintain medium term bearishness and would extend the whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral with focus on 1.1316 minor support. Firm break there will indicate completion of rebound from 1.1234. In such case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1215 low. On the upside, break of 1.1410 resistance will extend the rebound from 1.1234, which is a leg in the consolidation pattern from 1.1215, to 1.1514 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1814 resistance holds, down trend down trend from 1.2555 medium term top is still in progress and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. However, break of 1.1814 will confirm completion of such down trend and turn medium term outlook bullish.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1084; (P) 1.1160; (R1) 1.1247; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Further fall is mildly in favor with 1.1250 minor resistance intact. On the downside, below 1.1055 will reaffirm the case that rebound from 1.0777 has completed at 1.1496. Intraday bias will be back to the downside for retesting 1.0777. On the upside, however, above 1.1250 minor resistance will turn bias to the upside for 1.1496 resistance again.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0777 low faced heavy rejection from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456, as well as 55 month EMA. The development argues that price actions from 1.0777 medium term pattern are just corrective the down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high). Further decline is in favor to retest 1.0339 (2017 low). Nevertheless, sustained break of 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2281; (P) 1.2323 (R1) 1.2376; More….

EUR/USD’s rebound resumed and intraday bias is back on the upside. Further rally should be seen to 1.2555 high. The corrective structure of the fall from 1.2555 to 1.2154 argues that larger rally is not finished. More importantly, firm break of 1.2555 and 1.2516 long term fibonacci level will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, below 1.2268 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.2154 instead.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.1553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0468; (P) 1.0523; (R1) 1.0558; More

A temporary low is formed at 1.0487 in EUR/USD and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Some consolidations would be seen and stronger recovery cannot be ruled out. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0764 support turned resistance holds. Break of 1.0487 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0199 fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top could still be a correction to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). But chance of a complete trend reversal is rising. In either case, firm break of 1.0515 support will target 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.0786) holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0998; (P) 1.1012; (R1) 1.1036; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.0989 temporary low. But further decline will remain in favor as long as 1.1073 resistance holds. Corrective rebound from 1.0879 should have completed at 1.1175 already. Below 1.0989 will extend the fall from 1.1173 to retest 1.0879 low. Break will resume larger down trend from 1.2555. On the upside, above 1.1073 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1175 resistance.

In the bigger picture, at this point, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1202; (P) 1.1223; (R1) 1.1237; More…..

EUR/USD recovers strongly today but stays below 1.1273 minor resistance. Intraday bias remains neutral first. on the upside, break of 1.1273 support turned resistance will indicate short term bottoming at 1.1183. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.1448 resistance. On the downside, decisive break of 1.1176 will resume the down trend from 1.2555.

In the bigger picture, medium term weakness was revived as the weak rebound from 1.1176 was rejected well below 55 week EMA and failed to sustain above 55 day EMA. Focus is back on 1.1176 low, with 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. Decisive break there will resume whole down trend from 1.2555. Such decline target 1.0339 low next. On the upside, firm break of 1.1569 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, downside breakout will be in favor.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged lower to 1.1751 last week with weak downside momentum as seen in 4 hour MACD. Outlook is unchanged this week that further fall is expected as long as 1.1880 resistance holds. Current decline from 1.2265, as the third leg of correction from 1.2348 would target 1.1703 support. However, break of 1.1880 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound to 1.1974 resistance first.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

In the long term picture, focus remains on 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Sustained break there should confirm long term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above. However, rejection by 1.2555 will keep medium term outlook neutral first, and raise the prospect of down trend resumption at a later stage.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1814 extended to as low as 1.1335 last week but recovered since then. As a temporary low is formed, initial bias is neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 1.1335 will target 1.1300 low. Break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.1621 resistance will extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise before larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

In the long term picture, the rejection from 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 argues that long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) might not be over yet. EUR/USD is also held below decade long trend line resistance. Firm break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 should at least bring a retest on 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1156; (P) 1.1173; (R1) 1.1200; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1111 temporary low is extending. Upside of recovery should be limited well below 1.1324 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1111 will extend down trend to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Break will target 161.8% projection at 1.0895.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Sideway trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral. Further fall is in favor with 1.0786 resistance intact. On the downside, sustained break of 1.0339/48 will resume larger down trend. Next target is long term projection level at 1.0090.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 1.0339 long term support (2017 low). Decisive break there will resume whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. However, firm break of 1.0805 support turned resistance will delay this bearish case, and bring stronger rebound first.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0635; (P) 1.0665; (R1) 1.0711; More

EUR/USD’s rally continues in early US session and intraday bias stays on the upside for 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0289 at 1.0754. Firm break there could prompt upside acceleration to 100% projection at 1.1041. On the downside, break of 1.0604 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But further rally will remain in favor as long as 1.0481 resistance turned support holds.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1264; (P) 1.1306; (R1) 1.1329; More……

EUR/USD is staying in tight range below 1.1347 temporary top and intraday bias remains neutral first. With 1.1251 minor support intact, further rise is mildly in favor. On the upside, above 1.1347 will target 1.1448 key resistance next. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, break of 1.1251 minor support will suggest that recovery from 1.1107 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1107 low.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that a medium term bottom could be in place at 1.1107, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Decisive break of 1.1448 resistance would confirm this case. And stronger rebound would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. At this point, it’s early to judge whether rise from 1.1107 is a corrective move or the start of an medium term up trend. We’d look at the structure of the rebound to decide later. But in any case, for now, risk will remain on the upside as long as 1.1107 low holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1316; (P) 1.1336; (R1) 1.1355; More…..

EUR/USD is still staying in tight range below 1.1371 temporary top and intraday bias remains neutral. On the upside, break of 1.1371 would extend the rebound from 1.1234. In that case, rise from 1.1234 is seen as another leg in the consolidation pattern from 1.1215 and should target 1.1514 resistance. On the downside, break of 1.1275 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.1215 low instead. Decisive break there will confirm completion of consolidation from 1.1215, and resumption of down trend from 1.2555.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1258; (P) 1.1331; (R1) 1.1373; More….

EUR/USD is still staying in range of 1.1231/1422 and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, above 1.1422 will target 1.1496 key resistance. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, break of 1.1241 support will now indicate short term topping, and turn bias to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1035).

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0818; (P) 1.0846; (R1) 1.0891; More

Immediate focus is back on 1.0928 resistance in EUR/USD with today’s recovery. Decisive break there will resume larger rise to 61.8% projection of 0.9630 to 1.0733 from 1.0482 at 1.1164 next. On the downside, though, break of 1.0800 support should confirm short term topping, and turn bias back to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.0601).

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.
