EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1598; (P) 1.1645 (R1) 1.1730; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at hit point. Further recovery could be seen. But upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption. Decline from 1.2555 is still in progress. Firm break of 1.1507 will send EUR/USD through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0990; (P) 1.1014; (R1) 1.1059; More

EUR/USD’s rebound from 1.0926 extends higher today. But it’s staying well below 1.1164 resistance and further decline is still in favor. Break of 1.0926 will resume lager down trend from 1.2555. However, firm break of 1.1164 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.1412 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress and extending. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged higher to 1.1422 last week but reversed from there. A short term top should be formed ahead of 1.1496 key resistance. Initial bias is now on the downside this week for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.1422 at 1.1121. Sustained break there will argue that whole rebound from 1.0635 has completed and bring deeper fall to 61.8% retracement at 1.0936. On the upside, though, break of 1.1230 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1422 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

In the long term picture, outlook remains bearish for now as it’s staying below 55 month EMA, as well as decade long falling trend line. Down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in favor to extend through 1.0339 down the road. However, sustained trading above 55 month EMA will firstly suggest that fall from 1.2555 has completed. It would also be an early indication on long term bullish reversal. Focus would be back on 1.255 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ).

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2033; (P) 1.2073; (R1) 1.2103; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment and outlook is unchanged. It’s seen as staying in corrective pattern from 1.2348. Risk stays mildly on the downside as long as 1.2242 resistance holds. Break of 1.1990 will extend the pattern through 1.1951 support, to 100% projection of 1.2348 to 1.1951 from 1.2242 at 1.1845.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0893; (P) 1.0926; (R1) 1.0943; More

EUR/USD’s decline from 1.1239 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside for 1.0879 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend for 1.0813 fibonacci level next. On the upside, above 1.0957 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But recovery should be limited by 1.0992 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective that might have completed after rejection by 55 week EMA. Break of 1.0879 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) for 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.1239 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1488; (P) 1.1536 (R1) 1.1600; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for 1.1615 key resistance. Decisive break there will pave the way to 1.2 handle next. On the downside, below 1.1489 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations. But near term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1312 support holds.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 1.1298 resistance further affirm medium term reversal. That is, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise would be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.1756). Sustained break there will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 next. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1118 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0719; (P) 1.0739; (R1) 1.0770; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral as consolidation continues above 1.0685. Outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0944 resistance holds. On the downside, below 1.0685 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0609/34 cluster support zone next.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top is seen as a correction to up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Strong support could be seen from 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609) to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. Break of 1.0944 will indicate the start of the second leg, and target retest of 1.1274. However, sustained break of 1.0609/0634 will raise the chance of bearish trend reversal, and target 61.8% retracement at 1.0199.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1350; (P) 1.1366; (R1) 1.1385; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. With 1.1317 minor support intact, another rise remains mildly in favor. On the upside, break of 100% projection of 1.1107 to 1.1347 from 1.1181 at 1.1142 will pave the way to 161.8% projection at 1.1569 next. However, firm break of 1.1317 will be an early sign of completion of rise from 1.1107. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.1181 support instead.

In the bigger picture, considering bullish convergence condition in daily and weekly MACD, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1107 after hitting 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. Further rise should be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. Reactions from there could indicate whether rebound from 1.1107 is a corrective rise or reversing medium term trend.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0406; (P) 1.0435 (R1) 1.0452; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Current down trend should target 1.0090 long term projection level. On the upside, above 1.0358 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited below 1.0614 resistance to bring another fall.

In the bigger picture, the break of 1.0339 long term support (2017 low) indicates resumption of whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. Sustained break there will pave the way to 100% projection at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0786 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0682; (P) 1.0715 (R1) 1.0770; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays mildly on the upside as rebound from 1.0348 extends. Firm break of 55 day EMA (now at 1.0760) will target 1.0935 resistance next. On the downside, however, below 1.0563 minor support will turn intraday bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0348 low instead.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 1.0339 long term support (2017 low). Decisive break there will resume whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. However, firm break of 1.0805 support turned resistance will delay this bearish case and bring medium term corrective rebound first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1601; (P) 1.1680; (R1) 1.1721; More…..

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1814 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside for 1.1525 support first. As noted before, corrective rise from 1.1300 should have completed at 1.1814, after meeting strong resistance from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Break of 1.1525 support will confirm this bearish view and target a test on 1.1300 low. On the upside, above 1.1650 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring recovery. But upside should be limited well below 1.1814 to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1300, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and some consolidations would be seen. But still, note that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Thus, we’d expect fall from 1.2555 high to resume after consolidation completes. Below 1.1300 should send EUR/USD through 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. And, in that case, EUR/USD would head to retest 1.0339 (2017 low).

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1760; (P) 1.1802 (R1) 1.1883; More

EUR/USD’s rally extends to as high as 1.1845 so far. Intraday bias stays on the upside. Current rally from 1.0339 should target 1.2 handle next. On the downside, below 1.1722 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidation before staying another rally.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD dropped to as low as 1.0963 last week and break of 1.1026 confirms down trend resumption. Initial bias remains on the downside this week. Next near term target is 100% projection of 1.1412 to 1.1026 from 1.1249 at 1.0683. On the upside, above 1.1049 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations again first.

In the long term picture, outlook remains bearish for now. EUR/USD is held below decade long trend line that started from 1.6039 (2008 high). It was also rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 before. A break of 1.0039 low will remain in favor as long as 55 month EMA (now at 1.1629) holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1089; (P) 1.1159; (R1) 1.1200; More

EUR/USD’s break of 1.1173 minor support suggests short term topping at 1.1274, after rejection by 1.1273 fibonacci level. Intraday bias is back on the downside for deeper pull back towards 1.1011 resistance turned support. For now, risk is mildly on the downside as long as 1.1274 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, as rise from 0.9534 extends, focus is now on 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next. Meanwhile, outlook will continue to stay bullish as long as 1.0832 support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0874; (P) 1.0911; (R1) 1.0936; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside with 1.0958 minor resistance intact. Current down trend is in progress for 1.0813 fibonacci level next. In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0855; (P) 1.0903 (R1) 1.0950; More….

EUR/USD is staying in tight range below 1.0949 temporary top and intraday bias remains neutral for consolidations. At this point, another rise could be seen as long as 1.0777 support holds. But still, rise form 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. Hence we’d pay attention to topping signal even if EUR/USD rises through 1.0949. On the downside, below 1.0777 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.0569 support first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. this would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0875; (P) 1.0889; (R1) 1.0905; More…..

EUR/USD’s break of 1.0871 support suggests that a short term top was already formed at 1.0947, on bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 55 D EMA (now at 1.0810). Sustained break there will argue that whole rebound from 1.0601 has completed with three waves up to 1.0947, and target 1.0601/0665 support zone. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0947 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). However, break of 1.0665 support will extend the correction with another falling leg back towards 1.0447 support.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0728; (P) 1.0741; (R1) 1.0756; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. Further decline is expected as long as 55 4H EMA (now at 1.0756) holds. Fall from 1.0915 is seen as another leg in the larger corrective pattern. Below 1.0677 will target 1.0601 low first. Firm break there will target channel support at 1.0500 next. Nevertheless, sustained break of 55 4H EMA will turn bias to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly further to 100% projection of 1.1274 to 1.0447 from 1.1138 at 1.0311. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1350; (P) 1.1384; (R1) 1.1406; More….

EUR/USD remains in consolidation above 1.1335 and intraday bias stays neutral. With 1.1493 resistance intact, further decline is expected. Below 1.1335 will target 1.1300 low first. Decisive break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.14983 resistance will likely extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise towards 1.1814 before larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.2244 continues. Further rise is expected with 1.2050 support intact. On the upside, break of 1.2244 will resume the rise from 1.1703 to retest 1.2348 high. However, break of 1.2050 will delay the bullish case. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside to extend the consolidation pattern from 1.2348 with another falling leg.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair.
