EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0807; (P) 1.0829; (R1) 1.0860; More

EUR/USD recovers mildly in early US session but stays in range below 1.0887. Intraday bias stays neutral at this point. On the upside, break of 1.0887 and sustained trading above 55 D EMA (now at 1.0832) will affirm the case that fall from 1.1138 has completed. Stronger rally would then be seen back to 1.1138. However, break of 1.0761 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0694 support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0274; (P) 1.0290; (R1) 1.0297; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays on the upside with focus on 1.0348 support turned resistance, which is close to 55 day EMA (now at 1.0350). Decisive break there ague that rally from 0.9951 is at least correcting the fall from 1.1494. Further rise should then be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.1494 to 0.9951 at 1.0540. On the downside, break of 1.0201 minor support will suggest that such rebound has completed and bring retest of 0.9951 low instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0773 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0502; (P) 1.0558 (R1) 1.0591; More…..

EUR/USD is staying above 1.0520 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. With 1.0713 minor resistance intact, we’re holding on to our bearish view. That is, corrective rise from 1.0339 has completed at 1.0828 already. Below 1.0520 will target 1.0339 first. Break will extend the larger down trend to parity. However, above 1.0713 will dampen our view and turn focus back to 1.0828 instead.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1104; (P) 1.1137 (R1) 1.1192; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside at this point. Rise from 1.0805 is at least corrective the decline from 1.2265. Further rise would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.2265 to 1.0805 at 1.1363. For now, further rise will remain in favor as long as 1.0943 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extending term range trading first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0988; (P) 1.1028; (R1) 1.1060; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0926 continues. Outlook stays bearish with 1.1164 resistance intact and further fall is expected. On the downside, sustained break of 1.0926 will resume lager down trend from 1.2555 for 1.0813 fibonacci level next. However, decisive break of 1.1164 will be an early indication of larger reversal and target 1.1249 resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1558; (P) 1.1592 (R1) 1.1642; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for 1.1509 low. Break will resume the whole fall from 1.2555 through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. On the upside, above 1.1659 minor resistance delay the bearish case and bring more consolidation first.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0948; (P) 1.0977; (R1) 1.1013; More

Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 1.1094 will resume larger up trend to 1.1273 fibonacci level. However, considering bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD, break of 1.0908 support will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside. Further break of 1.0830 will target 1.0515 key support level.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0515 support holds, even in case of deeper pull back.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0823; (P) 1.0851; (R1) 1.0886; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as range trading continues. On the downside, break of 1.0768 will extend the fall from 1.1147 to retest 1.0635 low. On the upside, above 1.0990 will extend the corrective pattern from 1.0635 with another rebound. But upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1743; (P) 1.1803 (R1) 1.1835; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Overall, near term outlook remains bullish with 1.1712 cluster support (61.8% retracement of 1.1553 to 1.1960 at 1.1708) intact. Further rally is expected and above 1.1862 will target 1.1900 first. Break will target 1.2029 high next. However, decisive break there will indicate that rebound from 1.1553 has completed at 1.1960. In that case, deeper fall would be seen to 1.1553 and possibly below to extend the decline from 1.2091.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1423) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0552; (P) 1.0593; (R1) 1.0646; More

Outlook in EUR/USD remains unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral. On the downside, break of 1.0481 will confirm short term topping, on bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Deeper fall would be seen back to 1.0289 support and below. On the upside, however, firm break of 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0289 at 1.0754 will pave the way to 100% projection at 1.1041.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1836; (P) 1.1857 (R1) 1.1886; More….

EUR/USD’s consolidation from 1.1960 is still in progress and intraday bias remains neutral. With 1.1712 support intact, rise from 1.1553 is expected to resume later. Break of 1.1960 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high first. Break there will resume medium term up trend from 1.0339 and target 61.8% projection of 1.0569 to 1.2091 from 1.1553 at 1.2494, which is close to 1.2516 long term fibonacci level. We’d expect strong resistance from there to bring reversal. On the downside, break of 1.1712 will indicate completion of the rise from 1.1553 and turn near term outlook bearish.

Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1393) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0635; (P) 1.0665; (R1) 1.0711; More

EUR/USD’s rally continues in early US session and intraday bias stays on the upside for 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0289 at 1.0754. Firm break there could prompt upside acceleration to 100% projection at 1.1041. On the downside, break of 1.0604 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But further rally will remain in favor as long as 1.0481 resistance turned support holds.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1846; (P) 1.1878; (R1) 1.1903; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. Current development argues that a short term bottom is formed at 1.1751. Above 1.1907 will target 1.1974 resistance first. Firm break there should argue that whole corrective pattern from 1.2348 has completed. On the downside, however, break of 1.1751 will resume the fall from 1.2265 to 1.1703 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1876; (P) 1.1901; (R1) 1.1942; More….

With 4 hour MACD crossed below signal line, intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral first. On the upside, above 1.1926 will resume the rebound from 1.1703 to 1.1988 resistance. Firm break there will add to the case that whole correction from 1.2348 has completed, and target 1.2242 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, however, break of 1.1821 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1694 again.

However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1657; (P) 1.1687; (R1) 1.1707; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for further fall. We’d continue to look for strong support from 1.1602/1703 support zone to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1804 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1907 resistance first. However, sustained break of 1.1602/1703 will carry larger bearish implication and pave the way to 1.1289 fibonacci support.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1113; (P) 1.1144; (R1) 1.1175; More…..

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation above 1.1111 temporary low. Intraday bias stays neutral for the moment. Upside of recovery should be limited well below 1.1324 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1111 will extend down trend to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Break will target 161.8% projection at 1.0895.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed. 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186 was also taken out. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0864; (P) 1.0953; (R1) 1.1005; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. As long as 1.1120 support turned resistance holds, larger down trend from 1.1494 is still expected to continue. On the downside, firm break of 61.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1120 from 1.1494 at 1.0786 will pave they way to 100% projection at 1.0349 next. However, strong break of 1.1120 will confirm short term bottoming, at least, and bring stronger rebound back towards 1.1494 structural resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extend range trading first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0673; (P) 1.0695; (R1) 1.0730; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral at this point. Further rally is in favor as long as 55 4H EMA (now at 1.0656) holds. Decisive break of 1.0764 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1274 to 1.0447 at 1.0763) will extend the rise from 1.0447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.0958 next. However, sustained break of 55 4H EMA will argue that the rebound has completed, and target 1.0515 support, and then 1.0447 low.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is tentatively seen as the second leg. Hence while further rally could be seen, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1121; (P) 1.1160; (R1) 1.1185; More

EUR/USD’s correction from 1.1239 extends lower today but it’s staying above 1.1066 support. Intraday bias remains neutral first and another rise is still in favor. On the upside, above 1.1239 will extend whole rally from 1.0879 to 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next. However, on the downside, break of 1.1066 will suggest that whole rise from 1.0879 has completed. In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.0981 support for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move at this point. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD’s decline and break of 1.1173 support last week suggests that consolidation pattern from 1.1111 has completed at 1.1263, after hitting 55 day EMA. Initial bias remains on the downside this week for retesting 1.1111 first. Break will resume larger down trend for 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Though, on the upside, above 1.1224 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside to extend the consolidation from 1.1111 first.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Such decline would target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

In the long term picture, the rejection from 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 argues that long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) might not be over yet. EUR/USD is also held below decade long trend line resistance, 55 month and 55 week EMA. Break of 1.0339 will resume the down trend to 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2555 at 0.9501
