EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0595; (P) 1.0647 (R1) 1.0723; More…..

With 1.0630 minor support intact, intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside. Rise from 1.0494 is expected to extend to 1.0828 resistance and above. Note again that rise from 1.0339 low is seen as a corrective move. Hence, we’d expect upside to be limited by 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0494 at 1.0983. The larger down trend is still expected to resume later. On the downside, break of prior resistance at 1.0630 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0494 low.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1817; (P) 1.1879 (R1) 1.1981; More

EUR/USD’s rise is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the upside. Current rally from 1.0339 should target 61.8% projection of 1.1118 to 1.1908 from 1.1661 at 1.2149 first. Break there will target 100% projection at 1.2451 next. On the downside, below 1.1822 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But retreat should be contained above 1.1661 support and bring rise resumption.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 1.1768) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. For now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

A temporary top is in place at 1.1683 and intraday bias is turned neutral for consolidation. Deeper retreat could be seen. But downside should be contained by 1.1478 support to bring rise resumption. Break of 1.1683 will extend the current up trend to 1.2 handle next.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise fro 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1630; (P) 1.1654 (R1) 1.1685; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. As long as 1.1689 resistance holds, deeper decline is in favor. Below 1.1553 will resume whole fall from 1.2091 and target 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. We’d be cautious on strong support from there to bring rebound. But sustained break of 1.1510 will pave the way to next support zone at 1.1118/1267. On the upside, break of 1.1689 resistance will now indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for 1.1836 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1346) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0686; (P) 1.0719; (R1) 1.0735; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first and further decline is still expected. Break of 1.0667 will resume the fall from 1.0915, as another leg in the larger corrective pattern. Next target is 1.0601 low. However, break of 1.0760 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly further to 100% projection of 1.1274 to 1.0447 from 1.1138 at 1.0311. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1274; (P) 1.1284; (R1) 1.1296; More

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook. With 1.1344 minor support intact, further fall is in favor to 1.1181 support. Break will confirm completion of rebound from 1.1107 at 1.1412. Retest of 1.1107 low should be seen next. Though, above 1.1344 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside to resume the rebound from 1.1107 through 1.1412 instead.

In the bigger picture, considering bullish convergence condition in daily and weekly MACD, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1107 after hitting 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. Further rise should be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. Reactions from there could indicate whether rebound from 1.1107 is a corrective rise or reversing medium term trend. In any case, risk will stay mildly on the upside as long as 1.1107 low remains intact.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0850; (P) 1.0872; (R1) 1.0890; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation below 1.0894 and intraday bias stays neutral at this point. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0765 support holds. Break of 1.0894 will resume the rise from 1.0601 to 1.0980 resistance. Decisive break there will confirm that whole fall from 1.1138 has completed already.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern. Fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg and could have completed. Firm break of 1.1138 will argue that larger up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 high. On the downside, break of 1.0601 will extend the corrective pattern instead.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0502; (P) 1.0558 (R1) 1.0591; More…..

Break of 1.0520 support confirms resumption of fall from 1.0828. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 1.0339 low. As noted before, corrective rise from 1.0339 has completed at 1.0828 already. Fall from there is likely resuming larger down trend. Break of 1.0339 low will confirm our bearish view and target parity. On the downside, break of 1.0678 is needed to confirm completion of fall from 1.0828. Otherwise, outlook will remain mildly bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. With 1.1677 minor support intact, further rally is expected. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1553 already, ahead of 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. Above 1.1860 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high. However, break of 1.1677 will dampen this bullish view and turn focus back to 1.1553 low instead.

Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1373) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation from 1.0601 and intraday bias stays neutral. Upside of recovery should be limited by 1.0723 support turned resistance. Break of 1.0601 will resume the fall from 1.1138 to 100% projection of 1.1138 to 1.0694 from 1.0980 at 1.0536 next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Current fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg. While deeper decline is would be seen to 1.0447 and possibly below, Strong support should emerge from 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199 to complete the correction.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0876; (P) 1.0893; (R1) 1.0925; More….

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias remains on the upside for the moment. Decisive break of 1.0915 resistance will resume whole rise from 1.0601 to 100% projection of 1.0601 to 1.0915 from 1.0665 at 1.0979. On the downside, below 1.0859 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern, possibly a triangle, that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0601 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1185; (P) 1.1218 (R1) 1.1242; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1267 is still in progress. We’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 1.1245/98 (138.2% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0569 at 1.1245) resistance zone to limit upside and bring reversal. But decisive break of 1.1298 will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. On the downside, though, break of 1.1020 resistance turned support will indicate rejection from 1.1245/98 and turn bias to the downside for 1.0838 support first.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD now far above 55 week EMA. Also, bullish convergence condition is seen in weekly MACD. Focus will now be on 1.1298 key resistance. Rejection from there will maintain medium term bearishness and would extend the whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

EUR/USD rebounds strongly after hitting 1.1915. Intraday bias is turned neutral and near term outlook is turned mixed. But after all, decisive break of 1.2091 key resistance is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, more corrective trading should be seen with risk of another fall. Below 1.1915 will turn bias to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.1553 to 1.2088 at 1.1884. Break will target 61.8% retracement at 1.1757 and below.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, above 1.1989 will target 55 day EMA (now at 1.2044) . Firm break there will indicate completion of correction from 1.2348 and bring retest of this high. On the downside, however, break of 1.1834 will extend the correction from 1.2348 to 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1694.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation below 1.2322 and intraday bias remains neutral. Near term outlook remains bullish with 1.2088 resistance turned support intact, and further rise is expected. Above 1.2322 will resume medium term rally to 1.2494/2516 key resistance zone next. At this point, we’d expect strong resistance from there to limit upside and bring reversal. On the downside, break of 1.2088 will argue that EUR/USD has topped earlier than expected. In that case, intraday bias will be turned to the downside for 1.1915 support first.

Meanwhile, on the downside, break of 1.0777 will turn turn bias to the downside for 1.0569 support first.

However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. This would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment and some sideway trading could be seen above 1.1716 temporary low. Deeper fall is expected as long as 1.2029 resistance holds. Decline from 1.2091 is seen as correcting whole rise from 1.0569. Below 1.1716 will target 1.1661 support and then 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510, where we’re expecting support to bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, rise from medium term bottom at 1.0339 is still in progress for 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. However, it should be noted that there is no confirmation of trend reversal yet. That is, such rebound from 1.0399 could be a correction. And the long term fall from 1.6039 (2008 high) could resume. Hence, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But after all, break of 1.1661 is needed to indicate medium term topping. No change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias remains neutral for consolidation above 1.1101 temporary low. Another recovery cannot be rule out. But still, as long as 1.1282 resistance holds, further decline is expected. Sustained break of 1.1107 low will resume larger down trend from 1.2555. Though, firm break of 1.1282 will bring stronger rise to 1.1412 resistance.

In the bigger picture, on the one hand, 1.1107 is seen as a medium term bottom on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. On the other hand, rejection by 55 week EMA retains medium term bearishness. Outlook stays neutral for now. On the upside, break of 1.1689 resistance is needed to confirm short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment.
