EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1136; (P) 1.1136; (R1) 1.1191; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1111 is still in progress. In case of another rise, upside should be should be limited by 1.1263 resistance to bring down trend resumption. On the downside, firm break of 1.1107 will target 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. However, sustained break of 1.1263 resistance will now be an early sign of trend reversal and turn bias to the upside for 1.1448 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Such decline would target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1104; (P) 1.1133 (R1) 1.1187; More….

With 4 hour MACD crossed below signal line, a temporary top is formed at 1.1170 in EUR/USD. Intraday bias is turned neutral for consolidation. Downside of retreat should be contained by 1.1020 resistance turned support and bring another rise. Above 1.1170 will extend recent rally to 138.2% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0569 at 1.1245, which is close to 1.1298 key resistance. For now, we’d be cautious on strong resistance between 1.1245/1298 to limit upside and bring reversal.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate long term reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1805; (P) 1.1823; (R1) 1.1841; More

Outlook in EUR/USD is unchanged and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 1.1792 support will confirm rejection by 1.1907 resistance. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1663 low first. On the upside, sustained break of 1.1907 should indicate that fall from 1.2265, as well as the consolidation pattern from 1.2348, have completed. Near term outlook will be turned bullish for 1.2265/2348 resistance zone.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0823; (P) 1.0842; (R1) 1.0870; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, break of 1.0887 and sustained trading above 55 D EMA (now at 1.0832) will affirm the case that fall from 1.1138 has completed. Stronger rally would then be seen back to 1.1138. . However, break of 1.0761 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0694 support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9067; (P) 0.9098; (R1) 0.9130; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral first and further fall is in favor as long as 0.9241 resistance holds. Break of 0.9050 will resume larger down trend. Though, break of of 0.9241 will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias to the upside for 0.9376 support turned resistance.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). Current development suggests that such pattern is still extending. Sustain trading below 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.9081 will pave the way to 138.2% projection at 0.8639. On the upside, break of 0.9376 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1759; (P) 1.1793 (R1) 1.1855; More….

EUR/USD’s rebound continues today and focus is back on 1.1860. Break will confirm resumption of rise from 1.1553. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1553 already, ahead of 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. Above 1.1860 will extend the rally to retest 1.2091 high. In any case, near term outlook will remain cautiously bullish as long as 1.1677 support holds.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1373) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0311; (P) 1.0359; (R1) 1.0412; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral for the moment as consolidation from 1.0481 is extending. As long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds, further rally is still expected. On the upside, break of 1.0481 will resume the rise from 0.9534 and target 1.0609 fibonacci level. However, sustained break of 1.0092 will turn bias to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.0041) and below.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom was in place at 0.9534, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Even as a corrective rise, rally from 0.9534 should target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0566) will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0727; (P) 1.0777 (R1) 1.0814; More…..

EUR/USD engages in sideway trading in early US session. But intraday bias remains on the downside for far. Current fall from 1.0905 should target 1.0494 support next. As noted before, corrective rise from 1.0339 could be completed at 1.0905. Break of 1.0494 should confirm this case and target 1.0339 low. On the upside, above 1.0798 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0905 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. this would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0788; (P) 1.0812; (R1) 1.0861; More

Break of 1.0834 support turned resistance argues that fall from 1.0980 has completed with three waves down to 1.0723. Rise from there is currently seen as the third leg of the corrective pattern from 1.0694. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.0941/0980 resistance zone. On the downside, though, below 55 4H EMA (now at 1.0807) will bring retest of 1.0694/0723 support zone instead.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2300; (P) 1.2355 (R1) 1.2392; More….

Despite the pull back from 1.2555, EUR/USD is staying above 1.2205 key support. Intraday bias remains neutral at this point. On the upside, break of 1.2555 will revive the bullish case of up trend resumption and target 100% projection of 1.0569 to 1.2091 from 1.1553 at 1.3075. However, break of 1.2205 will confirm rejection by 1.2516 key fibonacci level and trend reversal.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

Break of 1.1528 will resume larger decline towards 1.1289 medium term fibonacci level. On the upside, break of 1.1639 resistance, however, will indicate short term bottoming. intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that rise from 1.0635 (2020 low) has completed at 1.2348. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289. Note also that rejection by 55 week EMA (1.1830) also carries medium term bearish implication. Firm break of 1.1289 will pave the way to retest 1.0635 low. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0902; (P) 1.0917 (R1) 1.0946; More….

EUR/USD continues to be bounded in consolidation below 1.0949 temporary top. And, intraday bias remains neutral at this point. With 1.0777 minor support intact, further rise is expected. But still, choppy rebound from 1.0339 is seen as a correction. Hence we’d look for topping again on next rise. Meanwhile, on the downside, break of 1.0777 will turn turn bias to the downside for 1.0569 support first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. At this point, we’re still treating rise from 1.0339 as a correction. Hence, we’d expect strong resistance from 1.0983 to limit upside and bring near term reversal. On the downside, break of 1.0760 support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0494 support. However, firm break of 1.0983 will dampen our view and put focus on 1.1298 key resistance.

On the downside, break of 1.1669 will resume the corrective fall from 1.2091 to 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. We’d expect strong support from there to complete the correction. On the upside, break of 1.1879 will revive the case that pull back from 1.2091 has already completed at 1.1669. In such case, intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high.
