EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1256; (P) 1.1320; (R1) 1.1403; More

EUR/USD breached 1.1373 minor resistance briefly but dropped back into established range. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, firm break of 1.1373 will indicate short term bottoming at 1.1185. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1510). On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger fall from 1.2348.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0875; (P) 1.0889; (R1) 1.0905; More…..

EUR/USD’s break of 1.0871 support suggests that a short term top was already formed at 1.0947, on bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 55 D EMA (now at 1.0810). Sustained break there will argue that whole rebound from 1.0601 has completed with three waves up to 1.0947, and target 1.0601/0665 support zone. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0947 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still be in progress. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). However, break of 1.0665 support will extend the correction with another falling leg back towards 1.0447 support.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1148; (P) 1.1187; (R1) 1.1213; More…..

The breach of 1.1173 minor support suggests that consolidation from 1.1111 has completed at 1.1263. Intraday bias is mildly on the downside for retesting 1.1111. Decisive break there will resumer larger down from from 1.2555 to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Though, on the upside, above 1.1224 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside to extend the consolidation from 1.1111 first.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed. 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186 was also taken out. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1266; (P) 1.1306; (R1) 1.1350; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation continues above 1.1215 temporary top. Upside of recovery should be limited below 1.1499 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1214 will target 1.1186 fibonacci level first. Break will target 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.1300 from 1.1814 at 1.1038 next.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 medium term top has just resumed and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 resistance is now needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1803; (P) 1.1830; (R1) 1.1866; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays mildly on the upside at this point. Rise from 1.1663 short term bottom is on track to 1.1907 resistance first. Decisive break there will indicate that fall from 1.2265, as well as the consolidation pattern from 1.2348, have completed. Near term outlook will be turned bullish for 1.2265/2348 resistance. On the downside, break of 1.1778 resistance turned support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.1602/63 support zone instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged lower to 1.0926 last week but recovered strongly since then. For now, such recovery is seen as a corrective move. Thus, while further rise could be seen this week, upside should be limited below 1.1164 resistance to bring down trend resumption. Break of 1.0926 will resume lager down trend from 1.2555. However, firm break of 1.1164 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.1412 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

In the long term picture, outlook remains bearish for now. EUR/USD is held below decade long trend line that started from 1.6039 (2008 high). It was also rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 before. A break of 1.0039 low will remain in favor as long as 55 month EMA (now at 1.1629) holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1984; (P) 1.2026; (R1) 1.2059; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and more consolidation could be seen below 1.2079 temporary top. But further rally is expected with 1.1941 minor support intact. As noted before, correction from 1.2348 should have completed with three waves down to 1.1703. Break of 1.2079 will target 1.2442/2348 resistance zone. However, break of 1.1941 will argue that the rebound from 1.1703 has completed, and turn bias back to the downside for this support.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1854; (P) 1.1874; (R1) 1.1912; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first. On the upside, break of 1.1920 will reaffirm the case that consolidation from 1.2011 has completed at 1.1602. Further rise would be seen to retest 1.2011 high. However, break of 1.1745 support will turn bias to the downside to extend the consolidation with another falling leg.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0482; (P) 1.0557; (R1) 1.0599; More

EUR/USD is still holding inside range of 1.0481/0733. Intraday bias stays neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 1.0481 will confirm short term topping, on bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Deeper fall would be seen back to 1.0289 support and below. On the upside, however, firm break of 1.0733 will resume whole rally from 0.9534.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1042; (P) 1.1069; (R1) 1.1086; More

EUR/USD lost upside momentum again after hitting 1.1097. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. On the downside, break of 1.1053 minor support will suggests that rebound from 1.0989 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.0989 support. Break will resume the decline from 1.1175 for retesting 1.0879 low. On the upside, above 1.1097 will extend the rebound to retest 1.1175 resistance.

In the bigger picture, at this point, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1231; (P) 1.1299; (R1) 1.1340; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation form 1.1496 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Further rise is in favor as long as 1.1095 support holds. Sustained break of 1.1496 will pave the way to next fibonacci level at 1.1876. However, break of 1.1096 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0777 low.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should have formed at 1.0777 after drawing support from 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876. Rejection by 1.1456 will suggests that price actions from 1.0777 are merely a correction. Another fall below 1.0777 low would be seen at a later stage in this case.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1908; (P) 1.1942 (R1) 1.1968; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside as fall from 1.2088 is in progress. Such decline could be the the third leg of consolidation pattern from 1.2091. Break of 38.2% retracement of 1.1553 to 1.2088 at 1.1884 will target 61.8% retracement at 1.1757 and below. On the upside, above 1.1981 minor resistance will turn bias neutral first. But firm break of 1.2091 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, we’d expect more corrective trading in near term.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. That is also close to 61.8% projection of 1.0569 to 1.2091 from 1.1553 at 1.2494.

EUR/USD should then target 1.1186 key fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, sustained break of 1.1496 will revive the case of near term reversal, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.1621 resistance first. Break will target 1.1814 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1814 resistance holds, down trend down trend from 1.2555 medium term top is still in progress and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2173; (P) 1.2207 (R1) 1.2227; More….

EUR/USD’s break of 1.2205 key support is taken as a tentative sign of trend reversal, after being rejected by 1.2516 key fibonacci level. Intraday bias is now on the downside. Sustained trading below 1.2205 will confirm and target 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708. On the upside, above 1.2354 minor resistance will dampen this bearish case and bring retest of 1.2555 high instead.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.5553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and further rise is expected with 1.1422 minor support intact. Rebound from 1.1215 is seen as correcting whole down trend from 1.2555. On the upside, above 1.1569 will extend the rebound through 1.1621 resistance to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1215 at 1.1727 next. On the downside, however, break of 1.1422 support will bring retest of 1.1214 low instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1814 resistance holds, down trend down trend from 1.2555 medium term top is still in progress and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. However, break of 1.1814 will confirm completion of such down trend and turn medium term outlook bullish.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD recovered after falling to 1.0911 last week and initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 1.0911 will resume the decline from 1.1274 to 1.0832 support. Sustained trading below there will target 1.0609/34 cluster support. However, firm break of 1.1046 minor resistance will argue that pull back from 1.1274 has completed, and bring stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top could be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0965) will bring deeper correction to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to set the range for consolidation.

In the long term picture, focus stays on 55 M EMA (now at 1.1132). Rejection by this EMA will revive long term bearishness. However, sustained break above here will be affirm the case of long term bullish reversal and target 1.2348 resistance for confirmation.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for 1.1960 resistance. Break will resume whole rally from 1.1553 and target 1.2091 high. On the downside, break of 1.1816 minor support is needed to indicate completion of the rebound form 1.1717. Otherwise, near term outlook will stay cautiously bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1435) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

On the downside, however, firm break of 1.2052 support will extend the correction from 1.2348. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.2348 at 1.1887.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Rebound from 1.0339 is seen as a corrective move. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1312; (P) 1.1334 (R1) 1.1367; More…..

EUR/USD recovers notably after hitting 1.1300. But still as long as 1.1430 minor resistance holds, further decline is expected, to 61.8% projection of 1.2413 to 1.1509 from 1.1745 at 1.1186. Note that it’s a cluster level with 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Hence, we’ll tentatively look for short term bottoming around 1.1186. Meanwhile, considering mildly bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.1430 will indicate short term bottoming. In that case, lengthier consolidation would be seen first before down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.2555 medium term is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Note again that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Sustained break of 1.1186 could pave the way back to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1851 resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.
