EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1442; (P) 1.1468; (R1) 1.1496; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point as range trading continues. On the downside, break of 1.1431 will resume the fall from 1.1814. Intraday bias would then be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low next. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1621 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. However, break of 1.1621 will turn focus back to 1.1814 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

EUR/SUD is staying in consolidation from 1.0926 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Stronger recovery might be seen. But upside should be limited below 1.1164 resistance to bring fall resumption. Break of 1.0926 will target 100% projection of 1.1412 to 1.1026 from 1.1249 at 1.0683. However, firm break of 1.1164 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.1412 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is in progress and extending. Prior rejection of 55 week EMA also maintained bearishness. Further fall should be seen to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Decisive break there will target 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays on the upside as rise form 1.0515 is in progress. Next target is retest on 1.1032 high. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534 to 1.1273 fibonacci level next. On the downside, break of 1.0787 support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0711 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0625) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1847; (P) 1.1915 (R1) 1.1950; More

EUR/USD’s pull back from 1.2069 extends to as low as 1.1822 so far today but it’s staying well above 1.1661 support. That is, near term outlook remains bullish as further rise is still expected. Above 1.1928 minor resistance will turn intraday bias back to the upside for retesting 1.2069 high first. Decisive break there will resume whole up trend from 1.0339. This will remain the preferred case as long as 1.1661 holds. However, firm break of 1.1661 will confirm short term topping and bring deeper pull back.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 1.1768) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. For now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

A temporary top is in place at 1.1908 in EUR/USD. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. Another rise is expected as long as 1.1612 support holds. Above 1.1908 will target 1.2 psychological level. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, we’ll be cautious on topping around there to bring correction. On the downside, break of 1.1612 will indicate short term topping and bring deeper pull back to 55 day EMA (now at 1.1379).

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0727; (P) 1.0777 (R1) 1.0814; More…..

EUR/USD engages in sideway trading in early US session. But intraday bias remains on the downside for far. Current fall from 1.0905 should target 1.0494 support next. As noted before, corrective rise from 1.0339 could be completed at 1.0905. Break of 1.0494 should confirm this case and target 1.0339 low. On the upside, above 1.0798 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0905 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. this would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

Break of 1.1747 indicates resumption of pull back from 1.1908 short term top. Intraday bias is back on the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.1119 to 1.1908 at 1.1606. At this point, we’d expect strong support from there to bring rebound. But break of 1.1908 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, more consolidation would be seen in near term. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.1606 would bring deeper pull back to 61.8% retracement at 1.1420.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0468; (P) 1.0523; (R1) 1.0558; More

A temporary low is formed at 1.0487 in EUR/USD and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Some consolidations would be seen and stronger recovery cannot be ruled out. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0764 support turned resistance holds. Break of 1.0487 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0199 fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top could still be a correction to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). But chance of a complete trend reversal is rising. In either case, firm break of 1.0515 support will target 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.0786) holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0666; (P) 1.0705; (R1) 1.0743; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on downside at this point. Fall from 1.0915 is seen as another leg in the larger corrective pattern. Deeper decline would be seen to 1.0601 low first. Firm break there will target channel support at 1.0510 next. On the upside, above 1.0744 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again first.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly further to 100% projection of 1.1274 to 1.0447 from 1.1138 at 1.0311. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside at this point. Pull back from 1.1239 could have completed with three waves down to 1.0992. Corrective rise from 1.0879 is probably not over. Further rise should be seen to 1.1172 resistance and then 1.1239. On the downside, below 1.1056 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0992 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move at this point. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0772; (P) 1.0789; (R1) 1.0810; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for the moment. Fall from 1.0980 should target 1.0694 support first. Break there will resume the whole decline from 1.1138 and target 100% projection of 1.1138 to 1.0694 from 1.0980 at 1.0536. Nevertheless, break of 1.0863 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

A temporary top is in place at 1.0744. Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral first. Above 1.0774 will extend the rise from 1.0339. But such rise is seen as a corrective move and should be limited by 1.0872 resistance. On the downside, below 1.0588 minor support will argue that it’s completed and turn bias back to the downside for 1.0339 support.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is in progress. Such down trend is expected to extend to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. On the upside, break of 1.1298 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1914; (P) 1.1973 (R1) 1.2008; More….

With 1.2031 minor resistance intact, intraday bias in EUR?USD stays on the downside. Current decline would target 200% projection of 1.2475 to 1.2214 from 1.2413 at 1.1891. Break will target 261.8% projection at 1.1730. On the upside, though, break of 1.2031 will indicate short term bottoming and bring lengthier consolidation before staging another fall.

In the bigger picture, current decline and firm break of 1.2154 support confirms rejection by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. A medium term top should be in place at 1.2555 and deeper decline would be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708 first. With current downside acceleration, there is prospect of hitting 61.8% retracement at 1.1186 before completing the decline. But still, we’ll need to look at the structure to before deciding if it’s a corrective or impulsive move.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1113; (P) 1.1143; (R1) 1.1161; More…..

EUR/USD is still bounded in consolidation from 1.1111 and intraday bias remains neutral. More corrective trading could be seen and another recovery cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited by 1.1263 resistance to bring down trend resumption. On the downside, firm break of 1.1107 will target 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. However, sustained break of 1.1263 resistance will now be an early sign of trend reversal and turn bias to the upside for 1.1448 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Such decline would target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1177; (P) 1.1256; (R1) 1.1297; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Down trend from 1.2555 is in progress. Next target is 1.1186 fibonacci level first. Break will target 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.1300 from 1.1814 at 1.1038 next. On the upside, above 1.1313 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But recovery should be limited below 1.1499 resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 medium term top has just resumed and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 resistance is now needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1350; (P) 1.1384; (R1) 1.1406; More….

EUR/USD remains in consolidation above 1.1335 and intraday bias stays neutral. With 1.1493 resistance intact, further decline is expected. Below 1.1335 will target 1.1300 low first. Decisive break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.14983 resistance will likely extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise towards 1.1814 before larger down trend resumption.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1541; (P) 1.1572 (R1) 1.1606; More…..

EUR/USD quickly recovers after breaching 1.1509 to 1.1507 and intraday bias remains neutral first. More consolidation could be seen and another recovery cannot be ruled out. But upside should be limited below 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption. Firm break of 1.1509 will resume larger decline from 1.2555 through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0744; (P) 1.0762; (R1) 1.0781; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Further decline is expected with 1.0816 minor resistance intact. Break of 1.0722, and sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0770) will extend the fall from 1.1016 short term top to retest 1.0447 support. However, on the upside, firm break of 1.0816 minor resistance will turn intraday bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

Meanwhile, sustained break of 55 D EMA will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1349; (P) 1.1398; (R1) 1.1462; More…..

EUR/USD’s rebound from 1.1176 accelerated to as high as 1.1448. The break of 1.1419 resistance is taken as the first sign of medium term bottom. Intraday bias is now on the upside for 1.1514/1569 resistance zone first. On the downside, break of 1.1335 minor support is needed to indication completion of the rise from 1.1176. Otherwise, near term outlook will remain cautiously bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that a medium term bottom could be formed at 1.1176 already. That came after hitting 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Further rally could be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1176 at 1.1703. It’s a bit early to confirm medium term bullish reversal. The structure of the rise from 1.1176 and reaction to 1.1703 fibonacci level will be watched for making an assessment later. But in any case, decisive break of 1.1176 is needed to confirm resumption of down trend. Otherwise, outlook is neutral at worst.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0916; (P) 1.0947; (R1) 1.0991; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias stays neutral. Strong support from 55 D EMA (now at 1.0838) retains near term bullishness. Break of 1.1011 will resume the rally from 1.0634 and target 1.1094 resistance. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).
