EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0830; (P) 1.0886; (R1) 1.0917; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is back on the downside with current steep fall and break of 1.0834 support. Sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0861) will argue that rebound from 1.0694 has completed and bring retest of this low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0941 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1763; (P) 1.1805 (R1) 1.1862; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. With 1.1908 resistance intact, more consolidation could be seen first. In case of another fall, downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 1.1119 to 1.1908 at 1.1606 to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.1908 will extend recent up trend to 1.2042 long term support turned resistance next.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 1.1768) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the downside at this point. Fall from 1.1016 short term top should extend to 55 D EMA (now at 1.0769). On the upside, however, break of 1.1016 will resume the rise from 1.0447 to retest 1.1274 high instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is tentatively seen as the second leg. Hence while further rally could be seen, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1134; (P) 1.1156 (R1) 1.1172; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as it’s staying in consolidation in range of 1.1109/1295. There is no confirmation of near term reversal yet. And focus remains on 1.1298 key resistance. Decisive break of 1.1298 key resistance will carry larger bullish implication and extend the whole rise from 1.0339 to 1.1615 resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 1.1109 support will indicate short term topping and rejection from 1.1298. In such case, intraday bias will be turned to the downside for 1.0838 support.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal continues to build up with EUR/USD staying far above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0932). Also, bullish convergence condition is seen in weekly MACD. Focus will now be on 1.1298 key resistance. Rejection from there will maintain medium term bearishness and would extend the whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

EUR/USD is staying in range of 1.1727/1908 and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. As noted before, a short term top is formed at 1.1908 on divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Deeper correction is expected as long as 1.1908 holds. Below 1.1727 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.1119 to 1.1908 at 1.1606. We’d expect strong support there to bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1231; (P) 1.1302; (R1) 1.1354; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 1.1249 and sustained trading below 1.1289 long term fibonacci level will carry larger bearish implications. Deeper fall would then be seen to 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068 next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1384 minor resistance will now indicate short term bottoming, and turn bias back to the upside for rebound.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2216; (P) 1.2245; (R1) 1.2299; More….

EUR/USD’s rally is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the upside. Current rise from 1.0635 should target 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next. On the downside, break of 1.2058 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1425; (P) 1.1455 (R1) 1.1516; More…..

EUR/USD’s rebound from 1.1300 short term bottom is still in progress. 1.1509 support turned resistance was met but there is no sign of topping yet. Intraday bias remains on the upside for 1.1745. We’d expect strong resistance from there to limit upside. On the downside, break of 1.1444 minor support will suggests that the rebound is completed. Intraday bias would be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.2555 medium term is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Note again that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Sustained break of 1.1186 could pave the way back to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779 holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2236; (P) 1.2285 (R1) 1.2318; More….

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook. With 1.2344 minor resistance intact, deeper fall should be seen to 1.2238 first. Break will target 1.2154 and below. Such development would confirm the rejection by 1.2516 key fibonacci resistance and pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708. However, break of 1.2344 minor resistance will dampen this bearish case and turn bias back to the upside for 1.2475 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.1553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862 in medium term.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1380; (P) 1.1441; (R1) 1.1486; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. On the upside, break of 1.1499 will resume the rebound from 1.1302 and target 1.1621 resistance and possibly above. But price actions from 1.1300 are viewed as forming a consolidation pattern. Therefore, upside is expected to be limited by 1.1814 to bring down trend resumption eventually. On the downside, break of 1.1353 minor support will suggest that rise from 1.1302 has completed. In that case, retest of 1.1300 key support should be seen next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1300 is seen as a corrective pattern. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. In case the consolidation from 1.1300 extends, upside should be limited by 1.1814 and 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. to bring down trend resumption eventually.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1886; (P) 1.1919 (R1) 1.1974; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point as it’s still bounded in range of 1.1822/2091. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour and daily MACD, break of 1.1822 should confirm near term reversal. In the case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside through 1.1661 support. EUR/USD should then correct whole rise from 1.0569 and target 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. However, rebound from 1.1822/1837 and break of 1.2029 will resume the larger up trend to next key fibonacci level at 1.2516.

In the bigger picture, rise from medium term bottom at 1.0339 is still in progress for 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. However, it should be noted that there is no confirmation of trend reversal yet. That is, such rebound from 1.0399 could be a correction. And the long term fall fro 1.6039 (2008 high) could resume. Hence, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But after all, break of 1.1661 is needed to indicate medium term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of pull back.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 1.1298 resistance further affirm medium term reversal. That is an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise would be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.1763). Sustained break there will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 next. EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside as fall from 1.2348 is in progress for channel support (now at 1.1983). Sustained break there would argue that it’s correcting whole up trend from 1.0635 to 1.2348. Next near term target will be 100% projection of 1.2348 to 1.2052 from 1.2188 at 1.1892 first. On the upside, break of 1.2188 resistance, though, will suggest that the correction has completed and bring retest of 1.2348 high.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Overall, near term outlook remains bullish with 1.1712 cluster support (61.8% retracement of 1.1553 to 1.1960 at 1.1708) intact. Further rally is expected and above 1.1862 will target 1.1900 first. Break will target 1.2029 high next. However, decisive break there will indicate that rebound from 1.1553 has completed at 1.1960. In that case, deeper fall would be seen to 1.1553 and possibly below to extend the decline from 1.2091.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be expect 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1423) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.17114 support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2376; (P) 1.2419 (R1) 1.2490; More….

EUR/USD’s rise was limited at 1.2475 and dropped sharply since then. Intraday bias is turned neutral again. On the upside, above 1.2475 will target a test on 1.2555 high, which is close to 1.2516 key long term fibonacci level. We’d be cautious on reversal from there. But decisive break will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, below 1.2285 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.2154 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1173; (P) 1.1213 (R1) 1.1251; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as it’s staying in range of 1.1111/1264. More consolidation could be seen and stronger rise cannot be ruled out, even through 1.1264 resistance. But still outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1324 resistance holds. Larger down trend is expected to resume sooner or later. On the downside, break of 1.1111 low will target 100% projection of 1.1569 to 1.1176 from 1.1448 at 1.1105 next. However, firm break of 1.1324 will be an early sign of larger trend reversal. In such case, further rise would be seen back to 1.1448 resistance for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1043; (P) 1.1069; (R1) 1.1121; More

With 1.1056 minor support intact, further rise is in favor in EUR/USD. Pull back from 1.1239 could have completed with three waves down to 1.0992. Corrective rise from 1.0879 is probably not over. Further rise should be seen to 1.1172 resistance and then 1.1239. On the downside, below 1.1056 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0992 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move at this point. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD’s decline last week confirmed short term topping at 1.2348, on bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. While deeper fall could be seen, we’d expect strong support from 1.2058 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.2348 at 1.2063) to bring rebound. Break of 1.2222 minor resistance will bring retest of 1.2348 high. However, firm break of 1.2058 will target 61.8% retracement at 1.1887.

In the long term picture, the case of long term bullish reversal continues to build up, with bullish convergence condition in monthly MACD, sustained trading above 55 month EMA and long trend falling trend line. Focus is now on 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). Decisive break there will confirm and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0768; (P) 1.0788; (R1) 1.0809; More

EUR/USD is still staying in range below 1.0810 and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. Further rally is in favor as long as 1.0723 minor support holds. On the upside, break of 1.0810 will resume the rebound from 1.0601 to 1.0884 resistance next. However, firm break of 1.0723 will argue that the rebound has completed, and turn bias to the downside for 1.0648 support instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern. Fall from 1.1138 is seen as the third leg and could have completed. Firm break of 1.1138 will argue that larger up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 high. On the downside, break of 1.0601 will extend the corrective pattern instead.
