Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0544; (P) 1.0587 (R1) 1.0669; More

EUR/USD is still bounded in consolidation from 1.0470 and intraday bias remains neutral. Another recovery could still be seen. But upside should be limited by 1.0756 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption. Break of 1.0470 will resume larger down trend and target 161.8% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0069.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1185 support turned resistance holds. The break of 1.0635 (2020 low) now raises the chance that it’s resuming long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Retest of 1.0339 (2017 low) low should be seen next. Decisive break there will confirm this bearish case.

EUR/USD is still extending range trading and intraday bias stays neutral. Outlook remains bearish with 1.0639 resistance intact. On the downside, firm break of 1.0447 will resume whole fall from 1.1274 and target 1.0199 fibonacci level. On the upside, however, break of 1.0639 will resume the rebound from 1.0447 to 55 D EMA (now at 1.0684).

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top could still be a correction to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). But chance of a complete trend reversal is rising. In either case, current fall should target 61.8% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0199 next. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.0684) holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1344; (P) 1.1393; (R1) 1.1424; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. While the rebound from 1.1270 was strong, it’s still limited below 1.1443 resistance. And near term outlook will remain mildly bearish with downside breakout slightly favored. On the downside, break of 1.1270 will argue that larger fall is resumption should target 1.1251 low next. Decisive break there will confirm this bearish case. EUR/USD should drop through 1.1186 fibonacci level to 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.1300 from 1.1814 at 1.1038 next. However, firm break of 1.1443 resistance will indicate near term reversal and bring stronger rise back to 1.1814 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1814 resistance holds, down trend down trend from 1.2555 medium term top is still in progress and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. However, break of 1.1814 will confirm completion of such down trend and turn medium term outlook bullish.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1846; (P) 1.1878; (R1) 1.1903; More

Intraday in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Current development argues that a short term bottom is formed at 1.1751. Above 1.1907 will target 1.1974 resistance first. Firm break there should argue that whole corrective pattern from 1.2348 has completed. On the downside, however, break of 1.1751 will resume the fall from 1.2265 to 1.1703 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0497; (P) 1.0543; (R1) 1.0579; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias stays neutral. On the downside, break of 1.0442 support will indicate rejection by 1.0609 fibonacci level. Bias will be back on the downside for 1.0222 support and below. However, firm break of 1.0594/0609 resistance zone will carry larger bullish implication. Next near term target is 61.8% projection of 0.9729 to 1.0481 from 1.0222 at 1.0687, and then 100% projection at 1.0974.

In the bigger picture, focus is now on 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Rejection by 1.0609 will suggest that price actions from 0.9534 medium term bottom are developing into a corrective pattern. Thus, medium bearishness is retained for another fall through 0.9534 at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.0609 will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

EUR/USD dips further today as retreat from 1.0481 extends but stays well above 1.0092 resistance turned support. Intraday bias remains neutral first. Further rally is expected as long as 1.0092 holds. On the upside, break of 1.0481 will resume the rise from 0.9534 and target 1.0609 fibonacci level. However, sustained break of 1.0092 will turn bias to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.0034) and below.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom was in place at 0.9534, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Even as a corrective rise, rally from 0.9534 should target 38.2% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.0609. Sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0566) will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1273. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0092 resistance turned support holds.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0650; (P) 1.0698; (R1) 1.0734; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, break of 1.0654 will resume the corrective fall from 1.1032 to 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. Strong support should be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. On the upside, firm break of 1.0803 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1032 high instead.

In the bigger picture, the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

Though, on the upside, above 1.1224 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside to extend the consolidation from 1.1111 first.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Such decline would target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

Decisive break there will confirm this bearish case.

On the downside, sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 1.0856) will argue that rebound from 1.0694 has completed and bring retest of this low. However, above 1.0905 will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0980 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1085; (P) 1.1097; (R1) 1.1115; More

EUR/USD’s break of 1.1066 minor support suggests that recovery from 1.0981 has completed at 1.1116. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside for 1.0981 first. Break will resume the fall from 1.1179 and target a test on 1.0879 low. On the upside, above 1.1116 will target 1.1179 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

EUR/USD is still bounded in consolidation from 1.0667 and intraday bias remains neutral. Outlook stays bearish with 1.0760 resistance intact. Decline from 1.0915 is seen as another leg in the larger corrective pattern. Break of 1.0667 will target 1.0601 and below. However, firm break of 1.0760 will turn intraday bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly further to 100% projection of 1.1274 to 1.0447 from 1.1138 at 1.0311. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD retreats notably after hitting 1.1304 and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Further rise will remain in favor as long as 1.121 resistance turned support holds. Above 1.1304 will extend the rebound from 1.1107 short term bottom to 1.1448 key resistance next. However, break of 1.1215 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.1107 low instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) might still be in progress. Such decline would target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813 on resumption. However, break of 1.1448 resistance would confirm medium term bottoming, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. In such case, stronger rebound should be seen to 38.% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. We’d look at the structure of the rebound to decide whether it’s a corrective rise later.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1022; (P) 1.1079; (R1) 1.1150; More

Despite breaching 1.1120 support turned resistance briefly, EUR/USD quickly retreated. Intraday bias remains neutral first. Rejection by 1.1120 will retain near term bearishness. Break of 1.0899 minor support should resume larger down trend from 1.2348 through 1.0805. However, firm break of 1.1120 will confirm short term bottoming at 1.0805. Bias will be back on the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1206).

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extend range trading first.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation below 1.0972 and intraday bias stays neutral. With 1.0787 support intact, further rally is expected. On the upside, above 1.0972 will resume the rally from 1.0515 to retest 01.1032 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534. However, break of 1.0787 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0711 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0625) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1264; (P) 1.1306; (R1) 1.1329; More……

EUR/USD drops notably lower today and is now pressing 4 hour 55 EMA. But downside is so far contained above 1.1251 minor support. Intraday bias remains neutral and further rise is mildly in favor. On the upside, above 1.1347 will target 1.1448 key resistance next. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implications. On the downside, break of 1.1251 minor support will suggest that recovery from 1.1107 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1107 low.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that a medium term bottom could be in place at 1.1107, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Decisive break of 1.1448 resistance would confirm this case. And stronger rebound would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. At this point, it’s early to judge whether rise from 1.1107 is a corrective move or the start of an medium term up trend. We’d look at the structure of the rebound to decide later. But in any case, for now, risk will remain on the upside as long as 1.1107 low holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1809; (P) 1.1823; (R1) 1.1847; More…..

EUR/USD dips mildly in early US session but stays well inside range below 1.1920. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, break of 1.1920 will reaffirm the case that consolidation from 1.2011 has completed at 1.1602. Further rise would be seen to retest 1.2011 high. However, break of 1.1745 support will turn bias to the downside to extend the consolidation with another falling leg.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0820; (P) 1.0846; (R1) 1.0888; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral again as it recovered quickly after dipping to 1.0801. Further fall is expected as long as 1.0929 resistance holds. Below 1.0801 will resume the decline from 1.1274 to 1.0609/34 cluster support next. Nevertheless, break of 1.0929 will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top should be formed at 1.1274, after failing to break through 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 decisively, on bearish divergence condition in D MACD. Fall from there is seen as a correction to the uptrend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609). Strong support could be seen there, at least on first attempt, to set the range for consolidation. Yet, medium term outlook will be neutral for now, as long as 1.1274 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

EUR/USD dips lower as consolidation from 1.0481 continues and intraday bias stays neutral. Downside of retreat should be contained by 1.0092 resistance turned support to bring another rally. Break of 1.0481 will resume the rise from 0.9534 and target 1.0609 fibonacci level.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1233; (P) 1.1278; (R1) 1.1303; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral. Downside breakout is mildly in favor with 1.1382 minor resistance intact. On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger fall from 1.2348. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1663 from 1.1908 at 1.0934. On the upside, however, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1443).

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.
