EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0789; (P) 1.0800; (R1) 1.0819; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Current down trend should target 200% projection of 1.1172 to 1.0992 from 1.1095 at 1.0735 next. On the upside, above 1.0861 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited well below 1.0992 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed and prior rejection by 55 week EMA affirms medium term bearishness. Sustained break of 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813 will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0674; (P) 1.0690; (R1) 1.0715; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 1.0655 minor support, and sustained trading below 55 4H EMA (now at 1.0670), will argue that the rebound from 1.0447 has completed with three waves up to 1.0755. That came after rejection by 1.0764 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1274 to 1.0447 at 1.0763). In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.0447/0515 support zone. Nevertheless, strong bounce from current level, followed by decisive break of 1.0764, will bring stronger rally to 61.8% retracement at 1.0958 next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is tentatively seen as the second leg. Hence while further rally could be seen, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. However, break of 1.0447 will resume the fall to 61.8% retracement of 0.9543 to 1.1274 at 1.0199.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1290; (P) 1.1338; (R1) 1.1366; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point. Sustained break of 1.1289 long term fibonacci level will carry larger bearish implication. Next target will be 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068. On the upside, above 1.1384 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1523 support turned resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2137; (P) 1.2217; (R1) 1.2272; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.2272 is extending. In case of another retreat, downside should be contained by 1.2058 support to bring rebound. On the upside, though, firm break of 1.2272 will resume larger rally to 61.8% projection of 1.0635 to 1.2011 from 1.1602 at 1.2452 next.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. We’d be alerted to topping sign around 1.2516/55. But sustained break there will carry long term bullish implications.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged lower to 1.1771 but lost momentum since then. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. on the downside, break of 1.1771 will resume the fall from 1.2265, as the third leg of correction from 1.2348, to 1.1703 support. On the upside, though, break of 1.1880 will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound to 1.1974 resistance first.

Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

In the long term picture, focus remains on 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Sustained break there should confirm long term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above. However, rejection by 1.2555 will keep medium term outlook neutral first, and raise the prospect of down trend resumption at a later stage.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1309; (P) 1.1321; (R1) 1.1340; More

Sideway trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger decline from 1.2348. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1663 from 1.1908 at 1.0934. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1405) and above.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2008; (P) 1.2026; (R1) 1.2053; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation below 1.2079 temporary top. Further rally is expected with 1.1941 minor support intact. As noted before, correction from 1.2348 should have completed with three waves down to 1.1703. Break of 1.2079 will target 1.2442/2348 resistance zone. However, break of 1.1941 will argue that the rebound from 1.1703 has completed, and turn bias back to the downside for this support.

However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0731; (P) 1.0766; (R1) 1.0784; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is back on the downside as fall from 1.1094 resumes by breaking 1.0759. Current fall is seen as correcting whole up trend from 0.9534. Deeper decline should be seen to 1.0515 cluster support, 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1094 at 1.0498. On the upside, above 1.0830 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0715; (P) 1.0745; (R1) 1.0771; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 55 D EMA will argue that pull back from 1.0915 has completed. Further rise should be seen back to 1.0915 resistance. However, break of 1.0665 will resume larger down trend through 1.0601 low instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s still in progress. Break of 1.0601 will target 1.0447 support and possibly below. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0747; (P) 1.0776; (R1) 1.0792; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the downside for the moment. Sustained break of 55 D EMA (now at 1.0770) will extend the fall from 1.1016 short term top to retest 1.0447 support. On the upside, above 1.0804 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1016 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

Meanwhile, sustained break of 55 D EMA will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1532; (P) 1.1580; (R1) 1.1632; More…..

EUR/USD recovered after touching 1.1529 support and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. On the downside, firm break of 1.1529 will indicate completion of the corrective rebound from 1.1300 and turn bias to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low. Decisive break there will resume larger down trend from 1.2555. On the upside, above 1.1627 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1733 and possibly above. But in that case, we’d continue to expect strong resistance from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779 to limit upside, at least on first attempt, to bring near term reversal.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.1300, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and some consolidations would be seen. But still, note that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Thus, we’d expect fall from 1.2555 high to resume after consolidation completes. Below 1.1300 should send EUR/USD through 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. And, in that case, EUR/USD would head to retest 1.0339 (2017 low).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0858; (P) 1.0907; (R1) 1.0932; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the downside at this point. Fall from 1.0980 short term top would target 1.0797 support. Firm break there will argue that rebound from 1.0694 has completed and bring retest of this low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0980 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0694 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and possibly below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1116; (P) 1.1132; (R1) 1.1150; More

Outlook in EUR/USD remains unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral for the moment. With 1.1066 support intact, further rise is still mildly in favor. On the upside, break of 1.1239 will resume such rally from 1.0879 and target 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next. However, firm break of 1.1066 will argue that whole rise from 1.0879 has completed. In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.0981 support for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move at this point. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1274; (P) 1.1303; (R1) 1.1340; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1487). On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger fall from 1.2348.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rebounded to 1.1472 last week but failed to take out 1.1499 resistance and reversed. Initial bias remains on the upside this week for 1.1215 low fist. Break there will resume larger down trend for 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, above 1.1421 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again. But near term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1499 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 medium term top has just resumed and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 resistance is now needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of strong rebound.

In the long term picture, the rejection from 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 argues that long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) might not be over yet. EUR/USD is also held below decade long trend line resistance. Firm break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 should at least bring a retest on 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0970; (P) 1.1011; (R1) 1.1072; More

EUIR/USD rises to as high as 1.1164 so far. Strong break of 61.8% retracement of 1.1239 to 1.0777 at 1.1063 raises the chance of larger bullish reversal. Intraday bias now remains on the upside for 1.1239 resistance. Sustained break there will turn outlook bullish. On the downside, break of 1.1038 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, larger down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in favor to extend through 1.0777 low. However, sustained break of 1.1239 will also have 55 week EMA (1.1154) decisive taken out. That should confirm medium term bottoming, with bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise could then be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1796; (P) 1.1874; (R1) 1.1918; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation below 1.1965. Further rise is expected as long as 1.1711 support holds. Break of 1.1965 will resume whole rally from 1.0635. However, considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.1711 should confirm short term topping. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1533).

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has completed at 1.0635 already. Rise form 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.17114 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2099; (P) 1.2124; (R1) 1.2147; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays on the upside, as rise from 1.1703 is in progress for retesting 1.2242/2348 resistance zone. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 1.0635. However, break of 1.2055 support, will turn bias to the downside for deeper pull back.

However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1521; (P) 1.1589 (R1) 1.1699; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for the moment. Sustained trading above 1.1615 key resistance will extend the medium term rise to 1.2 handle next. On the downside, break of 1.1478 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 1.1298 resistance further affirm medium term reversal. That is, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Further rise would be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.1756). Sustained break there will pave the way to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 next. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1118 support holds.

EUR/USD 4 Hours Chart

EUR/USD Daily Chart

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1138 resumed to 1.0843 last week, then recovered. Initial bias stays neutral this week for some consolidations. But further decline is expected as long as 1.0995 resistance holds. Below 1.0843 will target 1.0722 support next. Decisive break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0447 has completed, and target this low.

Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

In the long term picture, a long term bottom is in place at 0.9534 on bullish convergence condition in M MACD. It’s still early to call for bullish trend reversal with the pair staying inside falling channel in the monthly chart. Nevertheless, sustained trading above 55 M EMA (now at 1.1078) and break of 1.1274 resistance will raise the chance of reversal and target 1.2348 resistance for confirmation.
