EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1311; (P) 1.1340; (R1) 1.1365; More….

EUR/USD’s accelerates to as low as 1.1240 so far. Break of 1.1300 key support confirms resumption of whole decline trend from 1.2555. Intraday bias stays on the downside for 1.1186 fibonacci level first. Break will target 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.1300 from 1.1814 at 1.1038 next. On the upside, above 1.1330 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But recovery should be limited below 1.1499 resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 medium term top has just resumed and should target 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 resistance is now needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0878; (P) 1.0906; (R1) 1.0942; More

EUR/USD is staying in range below 1.1011 and intraday bus stays neutral. Further rally is mildly in favor with 55 D EMA (now at 1.0852) intact. On the upside, break of 1.1011 will resume the rise from 1.0634 and target 1.1094 resistance. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534 to 1.1273 fibonacci level. However, firm break of 1.0834 will turn bias to the downside for 1.0634 support instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1160; (P) 1.1202; (R1) 1.1285; More

EUR/USD surges to as high as 1.1340 so far today. The strong break of 1.1239 resistance confirms medium term bottoming at 1.0777. Intraday bias stays on the upside for 1.1456 fibonacci level next. Reactions from there would reveal if there is medium term bullish reversal. On the downside, though, break of 1.1095 minor support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, near term outlook will remain bullish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should have formed at 1.0777 after drawing support from 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876. Rejection by 1.1456 will suggests that price action from 1.0777 are merely a correction. And another fall below 1.0777 low would be seen at a later stage.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1178; (P) 1.1202; (R1) 1.1225; More…..

No change in EUR/USD’s outlook and intraday bias remains neutral. Consolidation from 1.1111 might extend. In case of another rise, upside should be limited well below 1.1324 resistance. On the downside, break of 1.1173 will turn bias to the downside for 1.1111 low. Break will extend down trend to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed. 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186 was also taken out. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0727; (P) 1.0777 (R1) 1.0814; More…..

EUR/USD’s fall continues today and reaches as low as 1.0721 so far. Current development argues that corrective rise from 1.0339 could be completed at 1.0905. Intraday bias remains on the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.0682) first. Sustained break there will affirm this view and target 1.0494 resistance for confirmation. On the upside, above 1.0798 minor resistance will turn bias back to the bias up to the upside for 1.0905 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate term reversal. this would also be supported by sustained trading above 55 week EMA.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2173; (P) 1.2207 (R1) 1.2227; More….

EUR/USD’s break of 1.2205 key support is taken as a tentative sign of trend reversal, after being rejected by 1.2516 key fibonacci level. Intraday bias is now on the downside. Sustained trading below 1.2205 will confirm and target 38.2% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1708. On the upside, above 1.2354 minor resistance will dampen this bearish case and bring retest of 1.2555 high instead.

In the bigger picture, key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 remains intact despite attempts to break. Hence, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is still seen as a corrective move for the moment. Rejection from 1.2516 will maintain long term bearish outlook and keep the case for retesting 1.0039 alive. Firm break of 1.5553 support will add more medium term bearishness. However, sustained break of 1.2516 will carry larger bullish implication and target 61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.3862.

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside, break of 1.0626 minor support will indicate rejection by 55 day EMA, and turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0348. On the upside, break of 1.0786, and sustained trading above 55 day EMA (now at 1.0757) will target 1.0935 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 1.0339 long term support (2017 low). Decisive break there will resume whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 1.0090. However, firm break of 1.0805 support turned resistance will delay this bearish case and bring medium term corrective rebound first.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) is still in progress. Current fall should now target 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0766; (P) 1.0816; (R1) 1.0902; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside at this point. Current rise from .9534 should target 61.8% projection of 0.9630 to 1.0733 from 1.0482 at 1.1164 next. On the downside, below 1.0729 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral again first. But near term outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.0482 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the rally from 0.9534 low is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rally is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0635; (P) 1.0662 (R1) 1.0690; More….

EUR/USD dips mildly but without follow through selling. Intraday bias remains neutral first. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.0772 resistance and bring another fall. As noted before, corrective rise from 1.0339 is completed at 1.0905. And more importantly, larger down trend is probably resuming. Below 1.0635 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0494. Break will confirm this bearish case and target 1.0339 low. However, above 1.0772 will delay this bearish case and bring another rise back to 1.0905 first.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. Deeper decline is expected as long as 1.0903 resistance holds. Fall from 1.1094 is seen as correcting whole up trend from 0.9534. Below 1.0759 will target 1.0515 cluster support, 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1094 at 1.0498. On the upside, though, firm break of 1.0903 will bring stronger rebound back to retest 1.1094 high instead.

Strong support should be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt.

In the bigger picture, the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

Further fall should be seen to 100% projection of 1.1448 to 1.1183 from 1.1324 at 1.1059. Break will target 161.8% projection at 1.0895. On the upside, above 1.1192 minor resistance will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited well below 1.1324 resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 is now resuming with break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. Medium term also remains with EUR/USD staying well below falling 55 week EMA. Next downside target will be 78.6% retracement at 1.0813. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the downside, break of 1.1448 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

However, break of 1.0787 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0711 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0625) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1277; (P) 1.1301; (R1) 1.1322; More…..

EUR/USD drops notably today but it’s staying above 1.1250 minor support. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 1.1250 will suggest that corrective recovery from 1.1183 has completed already. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside. Further break of 1.1176 low will resume the down trend from 1.2555. On the upside, break of 1.1324 will extend the rebound to 1.1448 resistance. In that case, we’d expect strong resistance between 1.1448/1569 to limit upside.

In the bigger picture, EUR/USD has been losing downside momentum around 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. But for now, there is no clear sign of medium term reversal yet. Downside from 1.2555 is expected to resume sooner or later as long as 1.1569 structural resistance holds. Decisive break of 1.1186. could pave the way back to 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1333; (P) 1.1354; (R1) 1.1393; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral at this point. On the upside, break of 1.1384 minor resistance will indicate short term bottoming at 1.1262, after defending 1.1289 long term fibonacci level. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for rebound back to 1.1523 support turned resistance first. On the downside, however, sustained break of 1.1289 will carry larger bearish implication, and extend the fall from 1.2348 to 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

EUR/USD is still holding above 1.0908 support and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, firm break of 1.1094 will resume larger up trend to 1.1273 fibonacci level. Break there will target 61.8% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1032 from 1.0515 at 1.1441 However, considering bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD, break of 1.0908 support will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside. Further break of 1.0830 will target 1.0515 key support level.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0515 support holds, even in case of deeper pull back.

Rebound from 0.9951 should have completed at 1.0368 after rejection by 55 day EMA, as well as falling channel resistance. Break of 1.0121 minor support will target a retest on 0.9951 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0773 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0677; (P) 1.0704; (R1) 1.0751; More

EUR/USD recovered after edging lower to 1.0654 and intraday bias is turned neutral again. On the downside, break of 1.0654 will resume the corrective fall from 1.1032 to 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. Strong support should be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. On the upside, above 1.0790 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1032 high instead.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1017; (P) 1.1055; (R1) 1.1119; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside for 1.1147 resistance. Price actions from 1.0635 are seen as a corrective pattern. Upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167. On the downside, below 1.0991 minor support will turn intraday bias to the downside for 1.0870 support. However, sustained break of 1.1167 will pave the way to 1.1496 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.
