As long as 38.2% retracement of 114.42 (2020 low) to 134.11 at 126.58 holds, up trend from 114.42 is still in favor to continue. Break of 134.11 will target long term resistance at 137.49 (2018 high). However, sustained break of 126.58 will raise the chance of bearish reversal. In this case, deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement at 121.94, and possibly below.

Larger up trend is still in favor to continue through 145.62 at a later stage. However, firm break of 138.38 will be an early indication of reversal, and target 135.50 support next.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 114.42 (2020 low) is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 109.30 (2016 low). Further rally is in favor as long as 133.38 support holds. Next target is 149.76 (2015 high). However, sustained break of 133.38 will be a sign of medium term bearish reversal and turn focus to 124.37 support for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 is seen as a medium term rising leg inside a long term sideway pattern. Further rise is expected as long as 125.07 support holds. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 137.49 (2018 high) to 114.42 at 128.67. Sustained trading above there will indicate solid upside momentum and target 137.49 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 125.07 support holds.

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY stays neutral first. As long as 124.44 support holds, further rally is in favor. On the upside, firm break of 127.07 will resume larger rise from 114.42, to 128.67 fibonacci level. However, firm break of 124.44 should, at least, start the correction to such rise from 114.42, and turn bias to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 114.42 to 127.07 at 122.23.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 137.49 (2018 high) could have completed at 114.42 already. Rise from 114.42 would target 61.8% retracement of 137.49 to 114.42 at 128.67 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to 137.49 (2018 high). This will remain the preferred case for now, as long as 119.31 support holds.

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral as range trading continues. Deeper decline will remain in favor as long as 158.64 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 156.57 support, and sustained trading below 55 D EMA (now at 157.02) will argue that fall from 159.75 is a larger scale correction. Deeper decline would be seen back towards 151.39 support. Nevertheless, above 158.64 would bring retest of 159.75 high instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 151.39 support holds, rise from 114.42 (2020 low) is still expected to continue. Next target is 100% projection of 124.37 to 148.38 from 139.05 at 163.06. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest long term resistance at 169.96.

Further rise would be seen to 121.14 resistance next. On the downside, below 117.02 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But break of 115.32 support is needed to indicate completion of the rebound. Otherwise, another rise will remain in favor even in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 137.49 (2018 high) is still in progress. EUR/JPY continues to stay well inside falling channel and below falling 55 week EMA. Deeper fall could be seen to retest 109.48 (2016 low) next. On the upside, break of 122.87 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

In the bigger picture, there is no clear sign of medium term topping yet. Up trend from 114.42 (2020 low) could still resume through1 48.38 to 149.76 (2014 high). However, break of 137.32 support argue that a medium term correction has already started to correct the whole up trend from 144.42.

EUR/JPY’s sharp fall today and strong break of 118.46 support confirms resumption of whole decline from 122.87. Intraday bias now on the downside for 115.86 low first. Decisive break there will confirm larger down trend resumption. Next near term target will be 161.8% projection of 122.87 to 118.46 from 121.39 at 114.25. On the upside, break of 118.46 support turned resistance is needed to signal short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains bearish as the cross is staying well inside falling channel established since 137.49 (2018 high). It was also rejected by 55 week EMA. Break of 115.86 will extend the down trend from 137.49 (2018 high) to 109.48 (2016 low) next.

EUR/JPY’s sharp decline last week confirmed short term topping at 137.49. Initial bias remains on the downside this week with focus on 132.04 cluster support first (23.6% retracement of 114.84 to 137.49 at 132.14). Decisive break there will indicate larger trend reversal on bearish divergence condition in daily MACD. In such case, outlook will be turned bearish for 38.2% retracement at 128.38 first. Nonetheless, rebound from 132.04 will retain near term bullishness Break of 134.79 minor resistance will bring retest of 137.49 high instead.

In the bigger picture, bearish divergence condition in week EMA indicates lost up medium term up trend momentum. But there is no clear sign of completion of up trend from 109.03 yet. Break of 137.49 will target 141.04/149.76 resistance zone. However, sustained break of 132.04 will be the early sign of long term reversal and should bring deeper fall back to retest 124.08 key support level.

In the long term picture, at this point, EUR/JPY is staying in long term sideway pattern. established since 2000. Rise from 109.03 is seen as a leg inside the pattern.
