EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 148.78; (P) 149.23; (R1) 149.83; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY is turned neutral first with current recovery. But overall, corrective pattern from 151.60 is extending with another falling leg. Deeper decline could be seen to 146.12 support, and possibly below. On the upside, however, above 151.05 will target 151.60 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend to 153.64 projection level.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 (2020 low) is in progress. Next target is 61.8% projection of 124.37 to 148.38 from 138.81 at 153.64. Sustained break there will pave the way to 100% projection at 162.82. For now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 139.05 support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/JPY Weekly Outlook

EUR/JPY rebounded strongly last week after initial fall to 137.37. But upside is kept well below 142.92 resistance. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 137.37 will resume the decline from 148.38 to 135.40 fibonacci level. However, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 142.92 will argue that the correction from 148.38 might have completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 146.71 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 55 week EMA (now at 138.55) holds, larger up trend from 114.42 (2020 low) is still in progress for 149.76 long term resistance. However, firm break of 55 week EMA will bring deeper fall to 38.2% retracement of 114.42 to 148.38 at 135.40. Sustained break there will raise the chance of trend reversal, and target 61.8% retracement at 127.39.

In the long term picture, outlook will stay bullish as long as 134.11 resistance turned support holds (2021 high). Sustained break of 149.76 (2014 high) will open up further rally, as resumption of the rise from 94.11 (2012 low), towards 169.96 (2008 high).

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 120.51; (P) 121.20; (R1) 121.76; More….

EUR/JPY’s fall from 122.87 extends to as low as 120.63 so far and intraday bias remains on the downside. With 55 day EMA taken out, focus is now on 120.17 structure support. Sustained break there will argue that whole rise from 115.86 has completed and turn outlook bearish. Nevertheless, strong rebound from the current level, followed by break of 121.74 minor resistance, will retain near term bullishness. Retest of 122.87 high should then be seen.

In the bigger picture, EUR/JPY is still staying in the falling channel established since 137.49 (2018 high). Rise from 115.86 is seen as a corrective rise for the moment. Strong resistance could be seen at falling channel resistance to limit upside. However, sustained break of the channel resistance will carry larger bullish implication and target 127.50 key resistance next.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 128.64; (P) 129.03; (R1) 129.70; More….

No change in EUR?JPY’s outlook. As long as 127.88 minor support holds, further rally is expected in EUR/JPY to resistance zone between 131.97 and 61.8% retracement of 137.49 to 124.61 at 132.56. However, break of 127.88 will argue that the rebound from 124.89 has completed. In that case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 124.61/89 support zone.

In the bigger picture, EUR/JPY once again rebounded ahead of 124.08 key resistance turned support. It’s also held above long term trend line from 109.03 (2016 low). The development argues that such rise from 109.03 might now be over yet. Decisive break of 61.8% retracement of 137.49 to 124.61 at 132.56 will pave the way to retest 137.49 high. But, firm break of 124.08 will argue that whole rise from 109.03 (2016 low) has completed at 137.49. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 109.03 to 137.49 at 119.90 next.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 131.51; (P) 131.86; (R1) 132.49; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral first. Correction from 134.11 could still extend lower. Below 130.02 will target 38.2% retracement of 121.63 to 134.11 at 129.34. We’d expect strong support from there to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 132.63 should suggest that the correction has completed and bring retest of 134.11 high.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 is seen as a medium term rising leg inside a long term sideway pattern. Next target is 137.49 (2018 high). Decisive break there will open up the possibility that it’s indeed resuming the up trend from 94.11 (2012 low). For now, outlook will stay bullish as long as 127.07 resistance turned support holds, in case of pull back.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 141.34; (P) 141.70; (R1) 142.29; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral at this point. On the downside, below 140.15 minor support will turn bias back to the downside 137.37 low. break there will resume the decline from 148.38 to 135.40 fibonacci level. However, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 142.92 will argue that the correction from 148.38 might have completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 146.71 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 55 week EMA (now at 138.64) holds, larger up trend from 114.42 (2020 low) is still in progress for 149.76 long term resistance. However, firm break of 55 week EMA will bring deeper fall to 38.2% retracement of 114.42 to 148.38 at 135.40. Sustained break there will raise the chance of trend reversal, and target 61.8% retracement at 127.39.

EUR/JPY Weekly Outlook

EUR/JPY stayed in range of 127.91/130.45 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. On the upside, decisive break of 130.45 resistance should indicate that the fall from 134.11 has completed. Further rise should be seen to 130.73 resistance first. Sustained break there will pave the way for retesting 134.11 high. On the downside, however, break of 127.91 should resume the fall from 134.11, through 127.91 support, to 137.07 resistance turned support next.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 is seen as a medium term rising leg inside a long term sideway pattern. As long as 127.07 resistance turned support holds, further rise is still expected to retest 137.49 (2018 high). However, firm break of 127.07 will argue that the medium term trend has reversed, deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 114.42 to 134.11 at 121.94.

In the long term picture, EUR/JPY is staying in long term sideway pattern, established since 2000. Another rising leg in progress for 137.49 resistance and above.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 131.22; (P) 131.71; (R1) 132.16; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY is turned neutral with a temporary top formed at 132.11. Some consolidations could be seen first. But downside should be contained well above 128.23 support to bring another rally. As noted before, corrective pattern from 134.11 should have completed three waves down to 127.36. Above 132.11 will bring retest of 133.44/134.11 resistance zone. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 114.42.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 134.11 are currently seen as a consolidation pattern only. As long as 38.2% retracement of 114.42 (2020 low) to 134.11 at 126.58 holds, up trend from 114.42 is still in favor to continue. Break of 134.11 will target long term resistance at 137.49 (2018 high). However, sustained break of 126.58 will raise the chance of bearish reversal. In this case, deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement at 121.94, and possibly below.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 115.92; (P) 116.23; (R1) 116.54; More…

With 117.31 minor resistance intact, intraday bias in EUR/JPY stays on the downside for 61.8% retracement of 109.20 to 124.08 at 114.88 next. And, sustained break there will pave the way to retest 109.20 low. On the upside, above 117.31 minor resistance will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations. But upside should be limited below 119.31 support turned resistance and bring another fall.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 38.2% retracement of 109.20 to 124.08 at 118.39 indicates that medium term rise from 109.20 is completed at 124.08. That’s well below 126.09 key support turned resistance. Also, EUR/JPY failed to sustain above 55 week EMA. Deeper decline would now be seen back to 109.20 low. Overall, the down trend from 149.76 (2014 high) is not completed yet. Break of 109.20 will resume such down trend towards 94.11 low. In any case, break of 126.09 is needed needed to confirm medium term reversal.

EUR/JPY’s fall from 122.88 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside for the moment. With a break of 120.01 minor support, the cross should now target 118.39/45 key cluster level again (38.2% retracement of 109.20 to 124.08 at 118.39). However, as such decline is viewed as part of the consolidation pattern from 124.08, we’d expect strong support from 118.39/45 to contain downside and bring rebound. On the upside, above 120.81 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 122.88 and then 124.08.

In the bigger picture, we’re holding on to the view that medium term rise from 109.20 is still in progress. Focus is on 126.09 key resistance level. Sustained break will confirm completion of the whole decline from 149.76. And rise from 109.20 is of the same degree as the fall from 149.76. In such case, further rally would be seen to 104.04 resistance and possibly above before topping. Meanwhile, rejection from 126.09, or firm break of 118.45 cluster support, will likely extend the fall from 149.76 through 109.20 low.

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral for the moment. Price actions from 124.08 are corrective in nature and rebound from 109.20 is not completed. Break of 124.08 will target 126.09 key resistance next. Meanwhile, below 120.54 will target 118.45 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 109.20 to 124.08 at 118.39). We’d expect strong support from there to contain downside.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 109.20 medium term bottom are seen as part of a medium term corrective pattern from 149.76. There is prospect of another rise towards 126.09 key resistance level before completion. But even in that case, we’d expect strong resistance between 126.09 and 141.04 to limit upside, at least on first attempt. Sustained trading below 55 day EMA will pave the way to retest 109.20.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 127.60; (P) 127.93; (R1) 128.54; More….

With 126.60 minor support intact, further rise is expected in EUR/JPY for 55 day EMA (now at 128.78). Sustained trading above there will target 131.97 key resistance next. On the downside, below 126.60 minor support will bring retest of 124.61/89 support zone instead.

In the bigger picture, focus is back on 124.08 key resistance turned support. Decisive break there will argue that whole rise from 109.03 (2016 low) has completed at 137.49. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 109.03 to 137.49 at 119.90 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to 109.03 and below. Meanwhile, rebound from 124.08 will keep medium term bullishness intact for another high above 137.49.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 127.99; (P) 128.52; (R1) 129.28; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY is neutral for consolidation above 127.49 temporary low. Another fall is expected as long as 130.14 resistance holds. On the downside, below 127.49 will target 126.63 support first. Break there will resume whole fall from 133.12 and target 124.61/89 support zone. On the upside, however, break of 130.14 will resume the rebound from 126.63 towards 133.12 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 124.08 key resistance turn supported holds, larger up trend from 109.03 (2016 low) is still in progress. Firm break of 137.49 structural resistance will target 141.04/149.76 resistance zone next. However, decisive break of 124.08 will argue that such rise from 109.03 has completed and turn outlook bearish. In that case, deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 109.03 to 137.49 at 119.90.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY is turned neutral as the rebound from 128.28 quickly lost momentum. On the upside, decisive break of 130.65 high will resume larger up trend from 114.42. On the downside, below 128.28 will extend the correction from 130.65. But downside should be contained above 127.48 resistance turned support to bring rise resumption.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 is seen as a medium term rising leg inside a long term sideway pattern. Further rise is expected as long as 125.07 support holds. Next target is 137.49 (2018 high).

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 119.11; (P) 119.50; (R1) 120.14; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains on the upside for the moment. Rise from 114.42 is seen as at least correcting the fall from 122.87. Further rally should be seen to 121.14 resistance next. Sustained break there will target 122.87 key resistance. On the downside, below 118.85 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But further rise will remain in favor as long as 117.11 support holds.

In the bigger picture, there is no clear sign of trend reversal yet. EUR/JPY is staying well inside falling channel and below falling 55 week EMA. Deeper fall could be seen to retest 109.48 (2016 low) next. On the upside, break of 122.87 resistance is needed to confirm medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 127.92; (P) 128.13; (R1) 128.53; More….

EUR/JPY’s rally is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the upside for 128.67 long term fibonacci level next. Sustained break there will confirm medium term upside momentum and target 100% projection of 121.63 to 127.48 from 125.07 at 130.92 next. On the downside, break of 127.65 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring some consolidations first.

In the bigger picture, rise from 114.42 is seen as a medium term rising leg inside a long term sideway pattern. Further rise is expected as long as 125.07 support holds. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 137.49 (2018 high) to 114.42 at 128.67. Sustained trading above there will indicate solid upside momentum and target 137.49 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 121.63 support holds.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 140.75; (P) 141.61; (R1) 142.46; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY is turned neutral with today’s recovery. But further decline is expected as long as 146.12 resistance holds. Break of 140.75 will resume the fall from 148.38 to 100% projection of 148.38 to 142.54 from 146.12 at 140.28. Firm break there could prompt downside acceleration to 161.8% projection at 136.67 next.

In the bigger picture, considering bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD, 148.38 could be a medium term top already. Fall from there is probably correcting whole up trend from 114.42 (2020 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 55 week EMA (now at 137.37), or further to 38.2% retracement of 114.42 to 148.38 at 135.40 before completion.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 117.85; (P) 118.58; (R1) 119.30; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. Consolidation from 115.86 could extend with another rise. On the upside, break of 121.39 will target 122.87 resistance. On the downside, sustained break of 115.86 will indicate larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains bearish as the cross is staying well inside falling channel established since 137.49 (2018 high). As long as 122.87 resistance holds, the down trend should resume sooner or later to 114.84 support next. However, sustained break of 122.87 will complete a double bottom (115.86, 116.12) which could indicate medium term bullish reversal.

EUR/JPY Weekly Outlook

EUR/JPY stayed in range of 131.69/134.39 last week and outlook is unchanged. But it’s getting more likely that 134.39 is a medium term top and a downside breakout could be seen soon. Initial bias remains neutral this week with focus on 131.69 support. Decisive break there will an early sign of medium term reversal and will target 127.55 key support level. On the upside, firm break of 134.39 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, more corrective trading would be seen.

In the bigger picture, medium term rise from 109.03 (2016 low) is seen as at the same degree as the down trend from 149.76 (2014 high) to 109.03 (2016 low). 61.8% retracement of 149.76 to 109.03 at 134.20 is already met. Sustained break there will pave the way to key long term resistance zone at 141.04/149.76. However, break of 127.55 support will argue that the medium term trend has reversal and will turn outlook bearish for deeper fall.

In the long term picture, at this point, there is no clear indication that rise from 109.03 is resuming that from 94.11. Hence, we’d be cautious on topping below 149.76 to extend range trading. Nonetheless, firm break of 149.76 will indicates strong underlying buying. In such case, EUR/JPY will target 100% projection of 94.11 to 149.76 from 109.03 at 164.68.

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains mildly on the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 136.98). Sustained break there will bring further decline to 132.63 support. On the upside, above 141.77 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 144.23 again.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 114.42 (2020 low) is in progress. Such rise is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 109.30 (2016 low). Sustained trading above 100% projection of 114.42 to 134.11 from 124.37 at 144.06 will indicate upside acceleration and target 149.76 long term resistance (2014 high). In any case, outlook will now remain bullish as long as 132.63 support holds, in case of deep pull back.
