EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8550; (P) 0.8567; (R1) 0.8576; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the downside at this point. Corrective rebound from 0.8497 should have completed at 0.8643, after rejection by trend line resistance. Deeper fall would be seen to retest 0.8491/7 support zone. On the upside, above 0.8582 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains bearish as EUR/GBP is capped below medium term falling trendline. That is, down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) is still in progress. Firm break of 0.8491/7 will target 100% projection of 0.8764 to 0.8497 from 0.8643 at 0.8376.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8892; (P) 0.8922; (R1) 0.8947; More

EUR/GBP is staying in range of 0.8732/0.9032 and intraday bias remains neutral first. With 0.9032 resistance intact, deeper decline is mildly in favor in the cross. Break of 0.8732 will resume the fall from 0.9305 and target 0.8303 key support level. However, on the upside, decisive break of 0.9032 will confirm completion of the decline from 0.9305. In such case, intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 0.9305 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways to interpret price actions from 0.9304 high. But after all, firm break of 0.9304/5 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, range trading will continue with risk of deeper fall. And in that case, EUR/GBP could have a retest on 0.8303. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the upside for 0.8939 resistance first. Break will extend the rise from 0.8665 to 0.9098 resistance next. On the downside below 0.8824 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. Some consolidations could then be seen before another rally.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is seen as staying in long term range pattern started at 0.9304 (2016 high). Medium term fall from 0.9305 is possibly in progress and could extend through 0.8620. On the upside, break of 0.8939 resistance is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will remain cautiously bearish even in case of rebound.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8969; (P) 0.8985; (R1) 0.9011; More…

EUR/GBP is staying in range below 0.9010 temporary top and intraday bias remains neutral. With 0.8954 minor support intact, another rise cannot be ruled out yet. But considering loss of upside momentum, we’d look for topping signal as it approaches 0.9101 key resistance. On the downside, break of 0.8954 support will indicate short term topping. In this case, deeper pull back could be seen to 55 day EMA (now at 0.8868) first.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 0.9305 (2017 high) is seen as a corrective move. No change in this view. Current development argues that it might have completed with three waves down to 0.8472, just ahead of 38.2% retracement of 0.6935 (2015 low) to 0.9306 at 0.8400, after hitting 55 month EMA (now at 0.8545). Decisive break of 0.9101 resistance will confirm this bullish case. Nevertheless, as EUR/GBP is still staying inside long term falling channel, correction from 0.9305 could still extend to 0.8400 fibonacci level before completion, if upside is rejected by 0.9101.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8761; (P) 0.8776; (R1) 0.8795; More

EUR/GBP continues to stay in consolidation below 0.8879 and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 0.8718 support will argue that rise from 0.8312 has completed. In that case, intraday bias with be turned back to the downside for lower side of the range at 0.8312. Meanwhile, break of 0.8879 and sustained trading above 0.8851 will pave the way to retest 0.9304 high.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. It’s uncertain whether it is finished yet. But in case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside and bring rebound. Whole up trend from 0.6935 is expected to resume after consolidation from 0.9304 completes.

EUR/GBP dropped notably last week, but overall it’s staying in range of 0.8861/9291. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. Further rally is mildly in favor as long as 0.8861 support holds. On the upside, decisive break of 0.9291 will resume whole choppy rise from 0.8670 to retest 0.9499 high.

In the bigger picture, at this point, we’re seeing the price actions from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds. Decisive break of 0.9499 will target 0.9799 (2008 high).

In the long term picture, rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is still in progress. It could be resuming long term up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Break of 0.9799 (2008 high) is expected down the road, as long as 0.8276 support holds.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the downside despite some loss of momentum as seen in 4H MACD. Fall from 0.8624 is in progress for retesting 0.8382 low. Decisive break there will resume larger down trend. On the upside, above 0.8491 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, while the rebound from 0.8382 is strong, there is no confirmation of trend reversal yet. As long as 0.8643 resistance holds, down trend from 0.9267 could still resume through 0.8382 at a later stage towards 0.8201 (2022 low). However, firm break of 0.8643 will indicate that such down trend has completed, and turn outlook bullish for 0.8764 resistance next.

EUR/GBP’s fall from 0.8700 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside for retesting 0.8502 low. Decisive break there will resume larger decline form 0.8977. On the upside, above 0.8618 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) is seen as part of the long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Firm break of 0.8717 support turned resistance will argue that it has completed with three waves down to 0.8502. Further break of 0.8977 will bring retest of 0.9267 high. Nevertheless, rejection by 0.8717, followed by break of 0.8502 will resume the decline towards 0.8201 (2022 low).

No change in EUR/GBP’s outlook as range trading continues. On the upside, break of 0.8864 will target 0.8924 resistance first. Firm break there should resume larger rise from 0.8545 through 0.8977 high. However, decisive break of 0.8717 support will resume the decline from 0.8977 instead.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains rather mixed for now, except that price actions from 0.9267 (2022 high) are part of the long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). With 0.8720 support intact, rise from 0.8545 is in favor to continue through 0.8977. However, firm break of 0.8720 will argue that such rebound has completed, and open up deeper fall through this support level.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral and further rise is expected with 0.8484 support intact. On the upside, break of 0.8720 and sustained trading above 0.8697 medium term fibonacci level will carry larger bullish implication. Next target is 0.9003 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.8484 will indicate rejection by 0.8697 and turn near term outlook bearish.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8201 medium term bottom could could either be a correction to the down trend from 0.9499 (2020 high), or a medium term up trend itself. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8201 at 0.8697 will affirm the latter case, and pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 0.9003. However, rejection by 0.8697 will maintain medium term bearishness.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

EUR/GBP rebounded after drawing support from 0.8866 again and intraday bias remains neutral. Further rise is now in favor and break of 0.9054 will resume the rebound from 0.8670. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8670 at 0.9182. However, firm break of 0.8866 will indicate completion of the rise from 0.8670. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 0.8670 support.

In the bigger picture, while the pull back from 0.9499 is deep, there is no sign of trend reversal yet. The up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) should resume at a later stage to 61.8% projection of 0.6935 to 0.9263 from 0.8276 at 0.9715. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP stays on the downside at this point. Current fall from 0.8656 is part of the larger down trend from 0.9499. Deeper decline would be seen towards 0.8276 key long term support next. On the upside, above 0.8485 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But overall, outlook will remain bearish as long as 0.8656 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9499 (2020 high) are still seen as developing into a corrective pattern. Deeper fall could be seen as long as 0.8656 resistance holds, towards long term support at 0.8276. However, firm break of 0.8656 resistance would argue that a medium term bottom was already formed. Stronger rise would be seen to 0.8861 support turned resistance to confirm completion of the corrective pattern.

EUR/GBP Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8701; (P) 0.8730; (R1) 0.8753; More…

EUR/GBP dives to as low as 0.8666 today and breached 0.8686 briefly, before recovering. At this point, intraday bias stays on the downside with 0.8757 minor resistance intact, with focus on 0.8686 key support level. We’d be cautious on strong support from there to bring another rebound. But decisive break of 0.8686 will resume whole fall from 0.9305 and target 0.8303 key support next. On the upside, above 0.8757 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for recovery to 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 0.8802) and above.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8856; (P) 0.8887; (R1) 0.8911; More…

Outlook in EUR/GBP remains unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral. While the pull back fro 0.8994 is deep, the structure still suggests that it’s a correction. Thus we’re holding on to the view that fall from 0.9097 has completed at 0.8847 already. On the upside, break of 0.8994 will target a test on 0.9097 high. Firm break there will resume the rise from 0.8620 towards 0.9305 high. Though, break of 0.8847 will bring deeper fall to 61.8% retracement of 0.8620 to 0.9097 at 0.8802.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is staying in long term range pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). At this point, there is no clear sign of range break out yet. And more corrective trading would continue. On the upside, in case of another rise, we’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304/5 to limit upside in case of further rally. Meanwhile, if there is another medium term decline, strong support will likely be seen from 0.8303 to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8636; (P) 0.8660; (R1) 0.8681; More

EUR/GBP lost some upside momentum after hitting 0.8682. But further rise is still expected as long as 0.8546 support stays intact. As noted before, rise from 0.8402 is viewed as the third leg of the corrective price actions from 0.8303.Such rally would target 0.8851 resistance and above. However, whole price actions from 0.8303 are viewed as the second leg of the correction from 0.9304. Hence, we’d expect strong resistance from 100% projection of 0.8303 to 0.8851 from 0.8402 at 0.8950 to limit upside. On the downside, below 0.8546 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 0.8402 support. instead

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. Deeper fall cannot be ruled out yet. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside. Overall, the corrective pattern would take some time to complete before long term up trend resumes at a later stage. Break of 0.9304 will pave the way to 0.9799 (2008 high).

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

EUR/GBP’s fall from 0.8476 resumed by breaking 0.8344 and intraday bias is back on the downside for retesting 0.8282 low. Sustained break of 0.8276 key long term support will carry larger bearish implication. On the upside, above 0.8401 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 0.8476 resistance. Break there will resume the rebound from 0.8282.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9499 (2020 high) are still seen a corrective pattern that should be contained by 0.8276 long term support (2019 low). Bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and break of 55 day EMA raises the chance that it might be completed. Sustained trading above 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8282 at 0.8747 will affirm this bullish case. However, sustained break of 0.8276 will argue that the long term trend has reversed.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

Much volatility was seen in EUR/GBP last week but after all, it’s bounded in range of 0.8686/8928. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Also, near term outlook will remain mildly bearish as long as 0.8928 resistance holds. On the downside, firm break of 0.8686 will resume whole decline from 0.9305. As 61.8% retracement of 0.8312 to 0.9305 should then be taken out too. Deeper decline would be seen to retest 0.8303/8312 support zone. Nonetheless, on the upside, break of 0.8928 will indicate near term reversal and turn outlook bullish for 0.9304 resistance.

In the long term picture, we’re holding on to the view that rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is resuming the up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Hence, after the consolidation from 0.9304 completes, we’d expect another medium term up trend through 0.9799 to 100% projection of 0.5680 to 0.9799 from 0.6935 at 1.1054.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains mildly on the downside for the moment. Fall from 0.8977 would target 0.8720 support first. Decisive break there will argue that whole rebound from 0.8545 has completed, and bring retest to this low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.8927 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, focus is back on 55 day EMA (now at 0.8804). Sustained trading below there will argue that fall from 0.9267 is in progress. Such decline is seen as a leg inside long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Break of 0.8545 will pave the way back to 0.8201 (2022 low).

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP failed to break through 0.8864 resistance last week and stayed in established range. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. On the upside, firm break of 0.8864 will extend the rebound from 0.8717 to 0.8924 resistance. Further break there should confirm completion of the choppy decline from 0.8977, and should resume larger rise from 0.8545 through 0.8977 high.

In the long term picture, long term range pattern is extending. But rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is expected to extend at a later stage, to 0.9799 (2009 high).
