EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8546; (P) 0.8564; (R1) 0.8599; More…

Immediate focus is now on 0.8577 resistance in EUR/GBP with current rebound. Decisive break there will argue that fall from 0.8764 has completed and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound. On the downside, decisive break of 0.8491/7 support zone will resume larger down trend from 0.9267 instead.

In the bigger picture, fall from 0.8764 is seen as another leg in the whole down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high). Outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8713 resistance holds. Break of 0.8491 will target 61.8% projection of 0.8977 to 0.8491 from 0.8764 at 0.8464.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8907; (P) 0.8937; (R1) 0.8955; More…

No change in EUR/GBP’s outlook despite loss of upside momentum. With 0.8877 minor support intact, further rise is expected. Prior break of 0.8928 resistance indicates near term trend reversal. Decline from 0.9305 has completed at 0.8686 after hitting 61.8% retracement of 0.8312 to 0.9305. Further rise should be seen back to 61.8% retracement of 0.9305 to 0.8686 at 0.9069. Firm break there will target retest of 0.9305 high. On the downside, below 0.8877 minor support will dampen this bullish view and target 0.8771 support instead.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways to interpret price actions from 0.9304 high. But after all, firm break of 0.9304/5 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, range trading will continue with risk of deeper fall. And in that case, EUR/GBP could have a retest on 0.8303. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8530; (P) 0.8549; (R1) 0.8561; More…

EUR/GBP continues to stay in range of 0.8529/8616 and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of of 0.8529 will resume the choppy decline towards retesting 0.8470 low. On the upside, decisive break of 0.8616 resistance will argue that corrective fall from 0.8718 has completed. Further rise would be seen to 0.8670 resistance for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9499 are still seen as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds. However, firm break of 0.8276 support will suggest that rise from 0.6935 has completed and turn medium term outlook bearish.

EUR/GBP Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8850; (P) 0.8871; (R1) 0.8897; More…

EUR/GBP surges strongly to as high as 0.8984 and takes our 0.8935 minor resistance decisively. The strong upside momentum, with bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, argues that pull back from 0.9097 has completed at 0.8847 already. The corrective structure in turns carries bullish implication. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 0.9051/9097 resistance zone next. Break will resume whole choppy rise from 0.8620

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is staying in long term range pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). At this point, there is no clear sign of range break out yet. And more corrective trading would continue. On the upside, in case of another rise, we’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304/5 to limit upside in case of further rally. Meanwhile, if there is another medium term decline, strong support will likely be seen from 0.8303 to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8317; (P) 0.8342; (R1) 0.8390; More…

EUR/GBP’s break of 0.8348 minor resistance suggests short term bottoming at 0.8282, ahead of 0.8276 low. Consolidation pattern from 0.8276 might be extending with another rising leg. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 0.8473). On the downside, decisive break of 0.8276 will confirm resumption of whole fall from 0.9324.

In the bigger picture, decline from 0.9324 medium term top is still in progress. As long as 0.8595 holds, further fall is expected to 61.8% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9324 at 0.7848. Nevertheless, break of 0.8786 will argue that fall from 0.9324 has completed and bring stronger rebound.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9126; (P) 0.9144; (R1) 0.9176; More

No change in EUR/GBP’s outlook and current rise is in progress for 0.9304 high. At this point, there is no clear sign of up trend resumption yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304 to limit upside and bring another fall. On the downside, break of 0.9007 support will indicate short term topping. Intraday bias will then be turned back to the downside for 0.8742/8948 support zone.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. It’s uncertain whether it is finished yet. But in case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside and bring rebound. Whole up trend from 0.6935 is expected to resume after consolidation from 0.9304 completes.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP’s rise from 0.8491 resumed by breaking through 0.8704 resistance last week. But it retreated after hitting 0.8739, just ahead of 61.8% projection of 0.8491 to 0.8704 from 0.8614 at 0.8746. Initial bias is turned neutral this week for consolidations first. Downside of retreat should be contained well above 0.8614 support to bring another rally. Firm break of 0.8746 will target 100% projection at 0.8827 next.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that whole down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) has completed with three down to to 0.8491. Rise from 0.8491 is seen as another leg inside that pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Further rally should be seen to 0.8977 resistance and above. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.8614 support holds.

In the long term picture, long term range pattern is extending. But rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is expected to resume at a later stage, to 0.9799 (2009 high).

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8527; (P) 0.8545; (R1) 0.8567; More…

Range trading continues in EUR/GBP and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, decisive break of 0.8577 resistance and 55 D EMA (now at 0.8572) will argue that fall from 0.8764 has completed. Intraday bias will be back on the upside for rebound towards 0.8713 resistance. Nevertheless, firm break of 0.8491/7 support zone will confirm larger down trend resumption.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9035; (P) 0.9051; (R1) 0.9074; More…

EUR/GBP’s rally extends to as high as 0.9073 so far today. Intraday bias remains on the upside for the moment. Sustained trading above 61.8% retracement of 0.9305 to 0.8620 at 0.9043 will pave the way to retest 0.9305 key resistance. On the downside, below 0.9033 minor support will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations. But near term outlook will stay bullish as long as 0.8895 support holds.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is staying in long term range pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). The corrective structure of the fall from 0.9305 to 0.8620 is raising the chance that rise from 0.8312 to 0.9305 is an impulsive move. But we’re not too confident on it yet. In any case, we’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304/5 to limit upside in case of further rally. Meanwhile, if there is another medium term decline, strong support will likely be seen from 0.8303 to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8567; (P) 0.8576; (R1) 0.8592; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains mildly on the upside as rebound from 0.8491 is extending higher today. Still, overall outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8667 resistance holds. That is, larger down trend from 0.8977 is in favor to continue. Below 0.8559 minor support will bring retest of 0.8491 low first.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) is seen as part of the long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Further decline is in favor as long as 0.8667 resistance holds. Break of 0.8502 will resume the fall towards 0.8201 (2022 low).

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8496; (P) 0.8524; (R1) 0.8545; More

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral for the moment and near term outlook stays bearish. Fall from 0.8551 is seen as the third leg of the corrective pattern from 0.9304. Break of 0.8469 support will turn bias to the downside for 0.8303 low. Break will target 0.8116 key cluster support level. On the upside, however, break of 0.8643 resistance will now dampen this bearish case and turn bias to the upside for 0.8851 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. Deeper fall cannot be ruled out yet. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside. Overall, the corrective pattern would take some time to complete before long term up trend resumes at a later stage. Break of 0.9304 will pave the way to 0.9799 (2008 high).

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8670; (P) 0.8708; (R1) 0.8763; More

Intraday bias in EUR./GBP stays neutral for the moment. Another rise is expected as long as 0.8449 minor support holds. Rebound from 0.8303 is seen as the second leg of the consolidation pattern from 0.9304. Above 0.8764 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.9304 to 0.8303 at 0.8922 and above. We’ll expect strong resistance above 0.8922 to limit upside and bring another fall. On the downside, below 0.8449 will turn bias to the downside for retesting 0.8303 first. Break there will extend the whole fall from 0.9304. In that case, we’ll look for bottoming signal again at around 0.8116.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. Deeper fall cannot be ruled out yet. But we’d expect strong support around 55 weeks EMA (now at 0.8243) to contain downside. Overall, the corrective pattern would take some time to complete before long term up trend resumes at a later stage. Break of 0.9304 will pave the way to 0.9799 (2008 high).

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP edged higher to 0.8865 last week but failed to sustain above 0.8851 resistance and retreated. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. At hits point, while consolidation from 0.8865 might extend, we’d still expect strong support from 0.8639 to contain downside and bring rise resumption. Decisive break of 0.8851 resistance will pave the way to retest 0.9304 high. However, break of 0.8639 support will now indicate near term topping and bring deeper pull back 0.8529 resistance turned support and below.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. The leg from 0.9304 should have completed after testing 0.8332 structural support. But it’s too early to say that larger rise from 0.6935 is resuming. Rejection from 0.9304 will extend the consolidation with another falling leg. Meanwhile, firm break of 0.9304 will target 0.9799 (2008 high). In case of another decline, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside and bring rebound.

In the long term picture, firstly, price action from 0.9799 (2008 high) is seen as a long term corrective pattern and should have completed at 0.6935 (2015 low). Secondly, rise from 0.6935 is likely resuming up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Thirdly, this is supported by the impulsive structure of the rise from 0.6935 to 0.9304. Hence, after the correction from 0.9304 completes, we’d expect another medium term up trend to target 0.9799 high and above.

In that case, we’d look for bottoming again at around 0.8116. Meanwhile, sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9304 to 0.8303 at 0.8685 will revive the case of near term reversal. In that case, stronger rise should be seen to 61.8% retracement at 0.8922 and above.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP’s rally extended to as high as 0.9118 last week and there is no change in the bullish outlook. Initial bias stays on the upside this week as rise from 0.8312 would target a test on 0.9304 high. At this point, there is no clear sign of up trend resumption yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304 to limit upside and bring another fall. On the downside, considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9007 support will indicate short term topping.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP rose to 0.8720 last week but failed to sustain above 0.8697 fibonacci level and retreated sharply. Initial bias is neutral this week first. Further rise is expected as long as 0.8484 support holds. Break of 0.8720 and sustained trading above 0.8697 medium term fibonacci level will carry larger bullish implication. Next target is 0.9003 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.8484 will indicate rejection by 0.8697 and turn near term outlook bearish.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8201 medium term bottom could could either be a correction to the down trend from 0.9499 (2020 high), or a medium term up trend itself. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8201 at 0.8697 will affirm the latter case, and pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 0.9003. However, rejection by 0.8697 will maintain medium term bearishness.

In the long term picture, the lack of medium term downside momentum suggests that fall from 0.9499 (2020 high) is merely a correction to rise from 0.6935 (2015 high). In case of another fall, downside should be contained by 61.8% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9499 at 0.7917 to bring rebound. Sustained trading above 55 month EMA (now at 0.8604) will indicate that the correction has completed and bring retest of 0.9499.

EUR/GBP Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8836; (P) 0.8862; (R1) 0.8890; More…

EUR/GBP’s break of 0.8824 minor support argues that rebound from 0.8655 might be completed at 0.8931, after being rejected by 0.8939 resistance. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside for retesting 0.8655. On the upside, firm break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm completion of the fall from 0.9098 and turn outlook bullish for this resistance.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is seen as staying in long term range pattern started at 0.9304 (2016 high). Sustained break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm that it’s in a medium term rising leg for 0.9098 and above. And for now, in case of another fall, downside will likely be contained by 0.8620/55 support zone to bring rebound.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8746; (P) 0.8787; (R1) 0.8858; More…

EUR/GBP’s break of 0.8779 resistance suggests that pull back form 0.9267 has completed at 0.8570. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 0.8869 resistance first. Firm break there will target retest of 0.9267 high. On the downside, below 0.8689 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 0.8570 instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that fall from 0.9267 is a down leg inside long term range pattern. Deeper fall could be seen towards 0.8201/8338 support zone. But strong support should be seen there to bring reversal. Nevertheless, firm break of 0.8869 resistance will turn favor to the case that such decline is merely a correction in the up trend from 0.8201. That is, further rally would be seen at a later stage through 0.9267.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8424; (P) 0.8447; (R1) 0.8488; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the upside at this point. Further rally should be seen to 0.8598 resistance next. Decisive break there will add to the case of trend reversal and target 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8282 at 0.8747 next. On the downside, below 0.8398 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9499 (2020 high) are still see a corrective pattern that should be contained by 0.8276 long term support (2019 low). Bullish convergence condition in daily MACD and break of 55 day EMA raises the chance that it might be completed. Sustained trading above 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8282 at 0.8747 will affirm this bullish case and target 61.8% retracement at 0.9034 and above.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Range trading continues in EUR/GBP and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, decisive break of 0.8700 resistance will carry larger bullish implication and bring stronger rally to 0.8874 resistance next. Nevertheless, rejection by this resistance will maintain bearish outlook that larger down trend is not over. Firm break of 0.8629 resistance turned support will turn bias back to the downside for 0.8568 support first.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) is seen as part of the long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Decisive break of 0.8700 resistance will argue that this decline has completed with three waves down to 0.8491. Rise from 0.8491 could then be another leg inside the pattern and targets 0.8977 and above. However, rejection by 0.8700 will keep the down trend alive for another fall through 0.8491 at a later stage.
