EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8740; (P) 0.8822; (R1) 0.8872; More

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the downside for 61.8% retracement of 0.8312 to 0.9305 at 0.8691 and below. Fall from 0.9305 is seen as the third leg of the consolidation pattern from 0.9304. We’ll look for bottoming signal again at it approaches 0.8303 support. On the upside, above 0.8865 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring recovery, before staging another fall.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. It’s still in progress with fall from 0.9305 as the third leg. Break of 0.8303 could be seen. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside. Whole up trend from 0.6935 is expected to resume after consolidation from 0.9304 completes.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.3732; (P) 1.3774; (R1) 1.3836; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. At this point, we’d still expect strong support from 1.3671 to contain downside to complete the correction from 1.6587. This is supported by bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Break of 1.3900 resistance will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for 1.4289 resistance. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our view.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. We’d expect strong support from 1.3671 key level to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.4721 resistance will indicate completion of such correction and turn outlook bullish for retesting 1.6587 high. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our bullish view and would turn focus back to 1.1602 long term bottom.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8569; (P) 0.8589; (R1) 0.8605; More…

EUR/GBP dips mildly mildly today but stays in established range. Outlook is unchanged. On the downside, below 0.8543 will target a test on 0.8502 low. Decisive break there will resume larger decline from 0.8977. On the upside firm break of 0.8717 resistance will suggest larger reversal and target 0.8874 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) is seen as part of the long term range pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Firm break of 0.8717 support turned resistance will argue that it has completed with three waves down to 0.8502. Further break of 0.8977 will bring retest of 0.9267 high. Nevertheless, rejection by 0.8717, followed by break of 0.8502 will resume the decline towards 0.8201 (2022 low).

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8341; (P) 0.8371; (R1) 0.8419; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP stays neutral at this point. On the downside, below 0.8294 will resume the fall from 0.8456 to retest 0.8201 low. Firm break there will resume larger down trend. On the upside, however, break of 0.8456 will resume the rebound from 0.8201 to 0.8476 structural resistance.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 0.9499 is expected to continue as long as 0.8476 resistance holds. Sustained trading below 0.8276 support will argue that the whole up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) has reversed. Deeper fall should be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9499 at 0.7917 next. However, firm break of 0.8476 will indicate medium term bottoming at least. Focus will be back on 55 week EMA (now at 0.8523) for more evidence of bullish reversal.

EUR/GBP Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8875; (P) 0.8908; (R1) 0.8935; More…

EUR/GBP’s strong recovery suggests that fall from 0.9000 was just a corrective retreat, and has completed at 0.8880. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. On the upside, break of 0.9000 will resume the rebound from 0.8670 to 61.8% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8670 at 0.9182 and above. On the downside, though, below 0.8880 will suggest that the rebound from 0.8670 has completed, and turn bias back to the downside for retesting this low.

In the bigger picture, while the pull back from 0.9499 is deep, there is no sign of trend reversal yet. The up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) should resume at a later stage to 61.8% projection of 0.6935 to 0.9263 from 0.8276 at 0.9715. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8665; (P) 0.8728; (R1) 0.8766; More…

EUR/GBP failed to sustain above 0.8779 resistance and retreated. Intraday bias stays neutral first. On the upside, firm break of 0.8779 will argue that corrective fall from 0.9267 has completed at 0.8570. Intraday bias will be back on the upside for 0.8869 first. Break there will bring retest of 0.9267 high. On the downside, break of 0.8570 will resume the fall from 0.9267 and target 0.8201/8388 support zone.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that fall from 0.9267 is a down leg inside long term range pattern. Deeper fall could be seen towards 0.8201/8338 support zone. But strong support should be seen there to bring reversal.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8750; (P) 0.8769; (R1) 0.8806; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral at this point. On the upside, above 0.8808 will target 0.8844 first. Firm break there will finally confirm our bullish view and resume the rebound from 0.8620 to 0.8967 cluster resistance (50% retracement of 0.9305 to 0.8620 at 0.8963). On the downside, however, break of 0.8679 minor support should indicate completion of the rebound form 0.8620. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for this support.

In the bigger picture, for now, the decline from 0.9305 is seen as a leg inside the long term consolidation pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). Such consolidation pattern could extend further. Hence, in case of strong rally, we’d be cautious on strong resistance by 0.9304/5 to limit upside. Meanwhile, in another decline attempt, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

Despite dipping to 0.8810 last week, EUR/GBP quickly recovered. But there was no follow through buying through 0.8939 resistance. Initial bias is neutral this week first. On the upside, firm break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm completion of the fall from 0.9098 and turn outlook bullish for this resistance. On the downside, below 0.8810 will turn bias to the downside for 0.8655 low instead.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is seen as staying in long term range pattern started at 0.9304 (2016 high). Sustained break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm that it’s in a medium term rising leg for 0.9098 and above. And for now, in case of another fall, downside will likely be contained by 0.8620/55 support zone to bring rebound.

In the long term picture, we’re holding on to the view that rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is resuming the up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Hence, after the consolidation from 0.9304 completes, we’d expect another medium term up trend through 0.9799 to 100% projection of 0.5680 to 0.9799 from 0.6935 at 1.1054.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP is neutral with focus on 0.8413 minor support. Firm break there will suggest that rebound from 0.8312 has completed. And intraday bias will then bias turned back to the downside for 0.8303 support next. Break will extend the correction from 0.9304 high. On the upside, above 0.8529 will extend the rebound form 0.8312 to 0.8786 resistance. Overall, price actions from 0.9304 are seen as a corrective pattern and there is no clear sign of up trend resumption yet.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9304 are viewed as a medium term corrective pattern. In any case, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside. Rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) will resume at a later stage to 0.9799 (2008 high). However, sustained break of 0.8116 could bring deeper decline to next key support level at 0.7564 before the correction completes.

No change in EUR/GBP’s outlook. Intraday bias stays on the downside at this point. Nevertheless, break of 0.8706 minor resistance will retain near term bullishness and bring retest of 0.8764 instead.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 0.9267 (2022 high) should have completed completed with three down to to 0.8491. Rise from 0.8491 is seen as another leg inside that pattern from 0.9499 (2020 high). Further rally should be seen to 0.8977 resistance and above. Such decline could extend to 100% projection of 0.9305 to 0.8620 from 0.9101 at 0.8416 and possibly below. But for now, we’d expect strong support around 0.8312 support to contain downside and bring rebound.

Nevertheless, rebound from the current level will retain near term bullishness, for another rise through 0.9291 at a later stage.

In the bigger picture, we’re seeing the price actions from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. Outlook in EUR/GBP remains unchanged for now. We’d still expect strong support from 0.8891/9051 support zone to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 0.9148 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 0.9324. However, sustained break of 0.8891 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.8472 to 0.9324 at 0.8797 and below.

In any case, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 0.8891 support holds, in case of deep pull back. However, sustained break of 0.8891 will dampen this bullish view and focus would be back on 0.8472 key support.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. Further rally is in favor with 0.8365 support intact. On the upside, break of 0.8617 will resume rise from 0.8201 medium term bottom to 0.8697 medium term fibonacci level. However, break of 0.8365 will dampen this bullish view, and turn bias back to the downside instead.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom could be in place at 0.8201, on bullish convergence condition in daily and weekly MACD. Rise from there could either be a correction to the down trend from 0.9499 (2020 high), or a medium term up trend itself. In either case, further rise should be seen to 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8201 at 0.8697. Sustained break there will target 61.8% retracement at 0.9003.
