EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8893; (P) 0.8934; (R1) 0.8959; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP stays on the downside at this point. Choppy rebound from 0.8670 should have already completed at 0.9175. Deeper fall would be seen to 0.8864 support first. Break there should confirm this bearish case and target 0.8670 and below. On the upside, though, break of 0.8974 resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, at this point, we’s still seeing the fall from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend form 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8956; (P) 0.8977; (R1) 0.8997; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral for the moment. 0.8954 minor support intact, further rise cannot be ruled out. But upside momentum is clearly diminishing as seen in 4 hour and daily MACD. Upside should be limited by 0.9101 key resistance to bring reversal. On the downside, break of 0.8954 support should confirm short term topping. In this case, deeper pull back could be seen to 55 day EMA (now at 0.8882) first.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 0.9305 (2017 high) is seen as a corrective move. No change in this view. Current development argues that it might have completed with three waves down to 0.8472, just ahead of 38.2% retracement of 0.6935 (2015 low) to 0.9306 at 0.8400, after hitting 55 month EMA (now at 0.8545). Decisive break of 0.9101 resistance will confirm this bullish case. However, firm break of 55 week EMA (now at 0.8801) would possibly extend the correction another another fall to below 0.8472 before completion.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8949; (P) 0.8967; (R1) 0.8990; More…

Outlook in EUR/GBP remains unchanged. Corrective fall from 0.9324 might extend lower. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8891 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.8472 to 0.9324 at 0.8856 to contained downside and bring rebound. On the upside, break of 0.9148 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 0.9324 high. However, sustained break of 0.8891 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.8472 to 0.9324 at 0.8797 and below.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) should be resuming. Sustained break of 0.9305 will confirm and target 0.9799 (2008 high) and then 61.8% projection of 0.6935 to 0.9305 from 0.8472 at 0.9937. In any case, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 0.8891 support holds, in case of deep pull back. However, sustained break of 0.8891 will dampen this bullish view and focus would be back on 0.8472 key support.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP edged lower to 0.8559 last week but quickly recovered. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. On the downside, below 0.8559 will target a test on 0.8470 low. On the upside, though, break of 0.8718 will resume the rebound from 0.8470 to 38.2% retracement of 0.9291 to 0.8470 at 0.8784.

In the bigger picture, e price actions from 0.9499 are still seen as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds. However, firm break of 0.8276 support will suggest that rise from 0.6935 has completed and turn medium term outlook bearish.

In the long term picture, rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is still in progress. It could be resuming long term up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Break of 0.9799 (2008 high) is expected down the road, as long as 0.8276 support holds.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP’s breach of 0.8808 support last week suggests that rebound from 0.8688 is already completed at 0.8928. Further fall is expected this week to retest 0.8688. Firm break there would resume whole fall from 0.9305 to retest 0.8303/12 key support zone. And, this will now be the favored as long as 0.8928 resistance holds, even in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways to interpret price actions from 0.9304 high. But after all, firm break of 0.9304/5 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, range trading will continue with risk of deeper fall. And in that case, EUR/GBP could have a retest on 0.8303. But we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside.

In the long term picture, we’re holding on to the view that rise from 0.6935 (2015 low) is resuming the up trend from 0.5680 (2000 low). Hence, after the consolidation from 0.9304 completes, we’d expect another medium term up trend through 0.9799 to 100% projection of 0.5680 to 0.9799 from 0.6935 at 1.1054.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral at this point. Further fall will remain mildly in favor as long as 0.8923 minor resistance holds. On the downside, firm break of 0.8828, and sustained trading below 0.8861 will target 0.8670 support, as the third leg of pattern from 0.9499. On the upside, though, break of 0.8923 resistance will confirm defense of 0.8861. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 0.8798) and above.

In the bigger picture, we’re seeing the price actions from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.8276 support holds. Decisive break of 0.9499 will target 0.9799 (2008 high).

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8868; (P) 0.8887; (R1) 0.8897; More…

EUR/GBP breached 0.8875 to 0.8871 but quickly recovered. Intraday bias stays neutral for more consolidations. Outlook is unchanged that whole corrective rise from 0.8620 has completed at 0.9097 and deeper decline is expected. Upside of recovery should be limited well below 0.9051 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 0.8871 will target 61.8% retracement of 0.8620 to 0.9097 at 0.8802 and below.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is staying in long term range pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). At this point, there is no clear sign of range break out yet. And more corrective trading would continue. On the upside, in case of another rise, we’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304/5 to limit upside in case of further rally. Meanwhile, if there is another medium term decline, strong support will likely be seen from 0.8303 to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8792; (P) 0.8840; (R1) 0.8889; More

EUR/GBP is still bounded in range of 08732/9032 and intraday bias remains neutral. With 0.9032 resistance intact, deeper decline is mildly in favor in the cross. Break of 0.8732 will resume the decline from 0.9305 and target 0.8303 key support level. However, on the upside, decisive break of 0.9032 will confirm completion of the decline from 0.9305. In such case, intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 0.9305 key resistance.

EUR/GBP Weekly Outlook

EUR/GBP’s decline last week suggests that corrective rise from 0.8276 has completed at 0.8595, after rejection by 55 day EMA. As a temporary low is in place at 0.8386, initial bias is neutral this week first. Upside of recovery should be limited by 0.8487 minor resistance. On the downside, break of 0.8386 will target a test on 0.8276 low. Nevertheless, break of 0.8487 would turn bias to the upside for 0.8595 to extend the corrective rise form 0.8276.

In the bigger picture, decline from 0.9324 medium term top is till in progress. As long as 0.8786 support turned resistance holds, further fall is expected to 61.8% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9324 at 0.7848. Nevertheless, break of 0.8786 will argue that fall from 0.9324 has completed and turn focus back to this high.

In the long term picture, fall from 0.9324 is currently seen as the third leg of the whole pattern from 0.9799 (2008 high). It’s a bit early to judge how fall the decline would extend to and whether 0.6935 would be taken out. We’ll pay attention to the structure of the fall from 0.9324 and corresponding downside momentum to made an assessment later.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, above 0.8405 will target 0.8476 resistance first. Break there will resume the rebound from 0.8282 to 0.8598 key resistance level. On the downside, though, break of 0.8304 will turn bias back to the downside for 0.8282 low again.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9499 (2020 high) are still seen a corrective pattern that should be contained by 0.8276 long term support (2019 low). Sustained trading above 38.2% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8282 at 0.8747 will affirm this bullish case. However, sustained break of 0.8276 will argue that the long term trend has reversed. Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9499 at 0.7917.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8727; (P) 0.8755; (R1) 0.8795; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains on the upside at this point. Current rise from 0.8201 should target 100% projection of 0.8201 to 0.8720 from 0.8338 at 0.8857. On the downside, break of 0.8624 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will stay bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the down trend from 0.9499 has (2020 high) has completed at 0.8201. Rise from there is developing into a medium term up trend. Further rally would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 0.9499 to 0.8201 at 0.9003 next. This will now remain the favored case as long as 55 day EMA (now at 0.8545) holds.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9035; (P) 0.9051; (R1) 0.9074; More…

EUR/GBP’s rally extends to as high as 0.9073 so far today. Intraday bias remains on the upside for the moment. Sustained trading above 61.8% retracement of 0.9305 to 0.8620 at 0.9043 will pave the way to retest 0.9305 key resistance. On the downside, below 0.9033 minor support will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations. But near term outlook will stay bullish as long as 0.8895 support holds.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is staying in long term range pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). The corrective structure of the fall from 0.9305 to 0.8620 is raising the chance that rise from 0.8312 to 0.9305 is an impulsive move. But we’re not too confident on it yet. In any case, we’d stay cautious on strong resistance from 0.9304/5 to limit upside in case of further rally. Meanwhile, if there is another medium term decline, strong support will likely be seen from 0.8303 to contain downside.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8786; (P) 0.8807; (R1) 0.8835; More…

No change in EUR/GBP’s outlook as it’s bounded in range of 0.8693/8844. Intraday bias remains neutral at this point. Another rise is expected as long as 0.8693 support holds. Break of 0.8844 will resume the rebound from 0.8620 for 0.8967 cluster resistance (50% retracement of 0.9305 to 0.8620 at 0.8963). However, break of 0.8693 will bring deeper fall back to retest 0.8620 low.

In the bigger picture, for now, the decline from 0.9305 is seen as a leg inside the long term consolidation pattern from 0.9304 (2016 high). Such consolidation pattern could extend further. Hence, in case of strong rally, we’d be cautious on strong resistance by 0.9304/5 to limit upside. Meanwhile, in another decline attempt, we’d expect strong support from 0.8116 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.6935 to 0.9304 at 0.8120) to contain downside.

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP stays neutral with focus on 0.8861 support. On the downside, decisive break of 0.8861 will indicate that whole choppy rise from 0.8670 has completed. Nevertheless, rebound from the current level will retain near term bullishness, for another rise through 0.9291 at a later stage.

In the bigger picture, we’re seeing the price actions from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. In the bigger picture, while the pull back from 0.9499 was deep, there is no sign of trend reversal yet. In the bigger picture, we’re seeing the price actions from 0.9499 as developing into a corrective pattern. That is, up trend from 0.6935 (2015 low) would resume at a later stage. Further fall should be seen to 0.8864 support. Break will confirm this bearish case and target a test on 0.8670 low.
