Intraday bias in EUR/CHF stays on the downside for retesting 0.9407/16 support zone. Decisive break there will resume larger down trend. On the upside, touching 0.9504 minor resistance will delay the bearish case and turn intraday bias neutral for consolidation first.

In the bigger picture, rejection by 0.9691 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.0095 to 0.9416 at 0.9675) maintains medium term bearishness in EUR/CHF. Firm break of 0.9047 support (2022 low) will resume long term down trend. Next target will be 61.8% projection of 1.1149 to 0.9407 from 1.0095 at 0.9018. EUR/CHF dropped notably but it’s staying above 1.1310 support. Intraday bias remains neutral and further rise remains mildly in favor. On the upside, firm break of 1.1444 resistance will resume the rebound from 1.1181 and target 1.1501 key resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 1.1310 will indicate completion of the rebound. In that case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.1181 low again.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by 1.1154/98 support zone to complete it and bring rebound. Decisive break of 1.1501 (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1173 at 1.1490) will confirm completion of the correction. Further rise should be seen to 61.8% retracement at 1.1687 and above next.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral at this point. Recovery from 1.1119 is seen as a correction and upside should be limited by 1.1278 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1186 minor support will turn intraday bias back to the downside for 1.1119 first. Break there will extend recent down trend to 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.1173 from 1.1476 at 1.0962 next.

In the bigger picture, current development firstly suggests that down trend from 1.2004 is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1476 resistance holds. EUR/CHF could target 1.0629 support and below.

On the upside, break of 0.9780 minor resistance will argue that corrective rebound from 0.9550 is resuming. Intraday bias will be back to the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0512 to 0.9550 at 0.9917.

In the bigger picture, long term down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is still in progress. Next target is 138.2% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 0.9033. Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1445 continues. Outlook stays bearish with 1.1639 resistance intact. Break of 1.1445 will resume the corrective fall from 1.1832 and target 1.1355 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.1832 at 1.1372.) At this point, we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside and bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, a medium term top should be in place at 1.1832 on bearish divergence condition in daily MACD. But there is no indication of long term reversal yet. As long as 1.1198 resistance turned support holds, we’d still expect another rise through prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral at this point. On the upside, firm break of 0.9721 resistance will argue that correction from 0.9847 has completed already, and turn intraday bias back to the upside for retesting 0.9847. However, break of 0.9563 will bring deeper fall to 61.8% retracement of 0.9252 to 0.9847 at 0.9479.

In the bigger picture, while 55 D EMA (now at 0.9644) was breached, EUR/CHF rebounded strongly since then. Rise from 0.9252 medium term bottom should still be in progress. Break of 0.9847 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.2004 (2018 high) to 0.9252 (2023 low) at 1.0303, even as a correction to the down trend from 1.2004. however, sustained trading below 55 D EMA will argue that the rebound has completed.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for the moment as it’s bounded in range of 1.0677/0762. Below 1.0677 will extend the corrective fall from 1.1198 and target 1.0620 key support level. On the upside, above 1.0762 will turn focus back to 1.0897 resistance. Decisive break there will suggest reversal and turn near term outlook bullish.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.1198 is seen as a corrective move. Such correction is still in progress and retest of 38.2% retracement of 0.9771 to 1.1198 at 1.0653 could be seen. Sustained trading below 1.0653 will target 50% retracement at 1.0485. Meanwhile, break of 1.0897 resistance will argue that the larger up trend is finally resuming for above 1.1198.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF is turned neutral as it turned sideway after hitting 1.0505 low. On the downside, Sustained break of 1.0505 low will confirm long term down trend resumption. Next target will be 161.8% projection of 1.1149 to 1.0694 from 1.0936 at 1.0200. On the upside, though, break of 1.0596 resistance will now indicate short term bottoming, and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, current downside momentum argues that fall from 1.1149 is probably resuming the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high). Focus is now on 1.0505 (2020 low). Decisive break there will confirm this bearish case and target 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 1.0223 next. Strong support from 1.0505 will bring rebound first. But outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0936 resistance holds.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF’s decline from 1.0890 resumed last week and reached as low as 1.0748 so far. Initial bias stays on the downside this week for 1.0737 support first. Decisive break there will confirm the start of another falling leg inside the pattern from 1.0915. Deeper decline would be seen to 1.0658 support. On the upside, above 1.0813 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again first.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.0503 are still seen as a consolidation pattern. With 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) intact, the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1059/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

However, on the upside, break of 1.0749 minor resistance will mix up the near term outlook again.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for the moment. More consolidation could be seen above 1.1264 temporary low first. Still, further decline is expected as long as 1.1350 support tuned resistance holds. On the downside below 1.1264 will extend the corrective fall from 1.1476 towards 1.1162 low. We’d expect strong support above there to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.1350 will suggest that the pull back has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1162 at 1.1484 again.

In the bigger picture, at this point, we’re slightly favoring the case that corrective fall from 1.2004 has completed after being supported by 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154. Decisive break of 1.1501 resistance should confirm and target 1.1713 resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 1.1154 is needed to confirm down trend resumption. Otherwise, medium term outlook will be neutral at worst.

Upside momentum is a bit weak, but intraday bias stays on the upside in EUR/CHF. Current rise from 0.9407 should target 61.8% projection of 0.9407 to 0.9798 from 0.9641 at 0.9883. Decisive break there will solidify the case of medium term bottoming and target 100% projection at 1.0032. On the downside, below 0.9740 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, considering bullish condition in daily MACD, firm break of 0.9864 resistance will confirm medium term bottoming at 0.9407. Stronger rally should then be seen to 55 week EMA (now at 1.0138), even as a corrective rebound. Nevertheless, rejection by 0.9864 will bring down trend resumption through 0.9407 next.

In this case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 0.9970 low.

On the upside, break of 1.0905 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for recovery. Overall outlook is unchanged that’s consolidation from 1.0811 might extend. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1062 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1476 to 1.0811 at 1.1065) to bring larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2004 is (2018 high) is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF gyrated higher last week but cannot take out 1.1452 resistance yet. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. ON the upside, decisive break of 1.1452 resistance should confirm bullish reversal, after drawing strong support from 1.1154/98 zone. In that case, outlook will be turned bullish for 1.1713 resistance next. On the downside, however, break of 1.1361 minor support will suggest rejection by 1.1452. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downsides for retesting 1.1154/98.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by support zone of 1.1198 (2016 high) and 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. This cluster level is in proximity to long term channel support (now at 1.1234) too. A break of 1.2 key resistance is still expected in the medium term long term. However, sustained break of the mentioned support zone will mark reversal of the long term trend. In that case, 1.0629 key support will be back into focus.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neural for consolidation above 1.0650 temporary low. Further decline is expected as long as 1.0799 minor resistance holds. Below 1.0650 will target a test on 1.0503 low. Nevertheless, break of 1.0799 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0915 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) holds, price actions from 1.0503 are seen as a consolidation pattern. That is, down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1049/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1417; (P) 1.1442; (R1) 1.1457; More…

No change in EUR/CHF’s outlook. With 1.1511 minor resistance intact, deeper fall is expected for 1.1355 support first. Break will target 1.1257 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.0652 to 1.1622 at 1.1251). Strong support is expected there to contain downside and bring rebound. Meanwhile, break of 1.1511 minor resistance will suggest that the pull back is completed and bring retest of 1.1622.

In the bigger picture, long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015 is still in progress. EUR/CHF should now be heading back to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1198 resistance turned support holds.

No change in EUR/CHF’s outlook as consolidation from 1.1445 is extending. Intraday bias remains neutral and outlook stays bearish with 1.1639 resistance intact. At this point, we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside and bring rebound.
