Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0328; (P) 1.0356; (R1) 1.0409; More….

EUR/CHF’s rebound from 0.9970 is still in progress. Intraday bias stays on the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9970 at 1.0420. Firm break there will target 1.0610 resistance next. On the downside, however, break of 1.0184 support will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.9970 low instead.

In the bigger picture, long term down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 0.9650. In any case, break of 1.0505 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1375; (P) 1.1410; (R1) 1.1440; More…

No change in EUR/CHF’s outlook and intraday bias remains neutral. On the downside, break of 1.1361 minor support suggest rejection by 1.1452 resistance. Intraday bias will then be turned back to the downsides for retesting 1.1154/98. On the upside, decisive break of 1.1452 resistance should confirm bullish reversal, after drawing strong support from 1.1154/98 zone. In that case, outlook will be turned bullish for 1.1713 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by support zone of 1.1198 (2016 high) and 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. This cluster level is in proximity to long term channel support (now at 1.1234) too. A break of 1.2 key resistance is still expected in the medium term long term. However, sustained break of the mentioned support zone will mark reversal of the long term trend. In that case, 1.0629 key support will be back into focus.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF dropped sharply to as low as 1.1212 last week. The strong break of 1.1310 support confirmed that rebound from 1.1181 has completed at 1.1444. Initial bias remains on the downside this week for retesting 1.1173 low, as well as 1.1154/98 key support zone. We’d look for strong support from there to bring rebound. But decisive break will carry larger bearish implication. On the upside, above 1.1298 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for rebound.

In the bigger picture, with last week’s sharp decline, price actions from 1.1173 are now looking more like a consolidation that’s completed at 1.1444. Bearishness is also reflected in multiple rejection by 55 week EMA. Immediate focus is back on 1.1154/98 support zone (2016 high and 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154). Decisive break there will confirm resumption of whole down trend from 1.2004 and long term bearish reversal. 1.0629 support will be next target.

In the long term picture, the current development argues that long term up trend has completed at 1.2004 after rejection of 1.2 key resistance. Sustained break of 1.1198 support will confirm this bearish case and target 1.0629 and possibly below.

EUR/CHF drops sharply after hitting 1.1422, ahead of 1.1444 key resistance. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. For now, further rise is mildly in favor as long as 1.1343 minor support holds. Decisive break of 1.1444 will indicate larger bullish reversal. However, break of 1.1343 will argue that the whole rebound from 1.1162 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1154 long term fibonacci support.

In the bigger picture, focus is back on 1.1444 resistance with current rebound. Decisive break there will indicate completion of the decline from 1.2004, with support from 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154. In this case, further rise should be seen to 1.1713 resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 is now needed to confirm down trend resumption. Otherwise, medium term outlook will be neutral at worst.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF stayed in consolidation below 1.1149 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral tis week first. Another fall cannot be ruled out. But downside should be contained by 1.0954 support to bring rise resumption. On the upside, break of 1.1149 will resume the whole rise form 1.0503 to 161.8% projection of 1.0503 to 1.0915 from 1.0737 at 1.1404.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that whole down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) has completed at 1.0503. Rise from there is starting a medium term up trend. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1431 and above. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for consolidation below 1.0725 temporary top first. On the upside, sustained break of 1.0710 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1059 to 1.0503 at 1.0715) will extend the rally to 1.0811 key resistance next. However, on the downside, break of 1.0578 minor support will bring retest of 1.0503 low instead.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) remains intact despite the current rebound. As long as 1.0811 support turned resistance holds, outlook stays bearish for another decline through 1.0503 low. However, firm break of 1.0811 should confirm medium term bottoming at 1.0503. Stronger rise should be seen back to 1.1059 resistance and above.

EUR/CHF dips notably today but stays above 1.0721 support. Intraday bias remains neutral first and further rally will remain in favor. On the upside, break of 1.0877 resistance will extend the rebound from 1.0602 for retesting 1.0915 high. On the downside, however, firm break of 1.0721 will argue that the rebound from 1.0602 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for this support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.0503 are still seen as a consolidation pattern. With 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) intact, the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1059/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

A temporary low is in place at 1.1285 in EUR/CHF and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Deep fall is expected as long as 1.1489 support turned resistance holds. Below 1.1285 will target key support zone between 1.1154/98. We’d expect strong support from there to contain downside to complete the whole decline from 1.2004.

In the bigger picture, for now, the price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by 1.1154/98 support zone, 1.1198 (2016 high), 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains on the downside at this point. Current fall form 1.0915 should target 61.8% projection of 1.0915 to 1.0650 from 1.0769 at 1.0605 first. Sustained break there will target 100% projection at 1.0504, which is close to 1.0503 low. On the upside, break of 1.0769 resistance is needed to confirm completion of the decline. Otherwise, near term outlook will remain mildly bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) holds, price actions from 1.0503 are seen as a consolidation pattern. That is, down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1049/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral first, as range trading continues. On the upside, above 1.0844 will extend the rebound from 1.0737 towards 1.0890 resistance. On the downside, break of 1.0784 will target 1.0737 support. Overall, sideway trading from 1.0915 is set to extend for a while.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF jumped to 1.0849 last week but reversed from there. Initial bias is neutral this week with focus on 1.0739 support. Break there will suggest completion of rebound from 1.0602. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting this week. On the upside, though, break of 1.0849 will resume the rise towards 1.0915 resistance.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

No change in EUR/CHF’s outlook as sideway trading from 0.9953 is still extending. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, firm break of 0.9953 resistance will resume larger rally from 0.9407 to 1.0072 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.9720 will extend the decline from 0.9953 to 61.8% retracement of 0.8407 to 0.9953 at 0.9616.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection by 0.9970 support turned resistance retains medium term bearishness. That is, while 0.9407 is a medium term bottom, price actions from there would develope into a corrective pattern rather than a reversal. Down trend resumption through 0.9407 is mildly favored at a later stage. This will remain the favored case now, as long 38.2% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.0072 holds.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 1.0890 continues. On the upside, break of 1.8920 resistance will target 1.0915. On the downside, below 1.0787 will target 1.0737 support first. Break there will extend the sideway pattern from 1.0915 with another falling leg, towards 1.0661 support.

EUR/CHF’s rebound from 1.0298 accelerates to as high as 1.0548 so far. The strong break of 1.0510 resistance argues that a medium term bottom was already formed at 1.0298, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Intraday bias is now on the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.1149 to 1.0298 at 1.0623 first. Sustained trading above there will raise the chance of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.0824 next. For now, further rise will remain in favor as long as 1.0439 minor support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that a medium term bottom is formed at 1.0298 on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Rebound from there is still tentatively viewed part of a corrective pattern. That is, larger down trend from 1.2004 (2018) could still extend through 1.0298 to 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 1.0223. However, sustained trading above 55 week EMA (now at 1.0671) will argue that the down trend is over, and bring stronger rise back to 1.1149 next.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9998; (P) 1.0034; (R1) 1.0055; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF retreated ahead of 1.0095 and intraday bias is turned neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9952 minor support will turn bias back to the downside, to extend the corrective pattern from 1.0095 with another leg, back towards 0.9873 support. On the upside, firm break of 1.0095 will resume whole rally from 0.9407 low.

In the bigger picture, the initial rejection by 55 week EMA (now at 1.0039) mixed up the outlook. On the upside, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will raise the chance of bullish trend reversal. Rise from 0.9407 should then target 1.0505 cluster resistance (2020 low at 1.0505, 61.8% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.1484). However, firm break of 0.9832 support will revive medium term bearishness and bring retest of 0.9407 low instead.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF’s rebound from 1.1366 last week was stronger than originally expected, indicating short term bottoming. Thus, while initial bias is neutral this week first, further rise is mildly in favor as long as 1.1505 minor support holds. Above 1.1639 will extend the rebound from 1.1366 to 61.8% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1366 at 1.1760. But after all, the corrective pattern from 1.2004 is extend to extend with at least one more falling leg. Hence, we’ll look for reversal signal again above 1.1760. On the downside, break of 1.1505 will suggest that the rebound is completed. And intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1366.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests solid rejection by prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. Considering bearish divergence condition in daily and weekly MACD, 1.2004 should be a medium term top. And price action from 1.2004 is correcting the up trend from 1.0629. Such correction is expected to extend for a while and therefore, we’re not anticipating a break of 1.2004 in near term. Another decline cannot be ruled out yet. But in that case, strong support should be seen at 1.1198 (2016 high), 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to contain downside.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9748; (P) 0.9781; (R1) 0.9824; More..

EUR/CHF’s rally from 0.9252 resumed by breaking 0.9785 temporary top. Intraday bias is back on the upside. Further rise should be seen towards 1.0095 key resistance next. On the downside, break of 0.9689 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 0.9252 already, on bullish convergence condition in W MACD. Rise from there would now target 38.2% retracement of 1.2004 (2018 high) to 0.9252 (2023 low) at 1.0303, even as a correction to the down trend from 1.2004. This will remain the favored case as long as 55 D EMA (now at 0.9535) holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0102; (P) 1.0154; (R1) 1.0186; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF is back on the downside as fall from 1.0400 resumes. As noted before, rebound from 0.9970 could have completed already. Deeper fall is now expected to retest 0.9970 low. On the upside, however, break of 1.0204 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.0400 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, long term down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 0.9650. In any case, sustained break of 1.0505 support turned resistance (2020 low) is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1597; (P) 1.1633; (R1) 1.1664; More…

EUR/CHF’s breach of 1.1618 minor support argues that the corrective rise from 1.1366 has completed with three waves up to 1.1713 already. Intraday bias is now mildly on the downside for 1.1478 support first. Break there will likely resume the whole corrective fall from 1.2004 through 1.1366 low. On the upside, in case of another rally, we’d continue to expect strong resistance from 61.8% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1366 at 1.1760 to bring near term reversal.

In the bigger picture, 1.2004 is seen as a medium term top with bearish divergence condition in daily and weekly MACD. 1.2000 is also an important resistance level. Hence, the corrective pattern from 1.2004 is expected to extend for a while before completion. Hence, we’re not anticipating a break of 1.2004 in near term. Another decline cannot be ruled out yet. But in that case, strong support should be seen at 1.1198 (2016 high), 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to contain downside.
