Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for the moment and some consolidations would be seen above 0.9402 first. Further fall is expected as long as 0.9543 resistance holds. On the downside, decisive break of 0.9407 will confirm larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains bearish as long as 0.9683 resistance holds. Firm break of 0.9407 (2022 low) will resume long term down trend. Next target will be 61.8% projection of 1.1149 (2020 high) to 0.9407 from 1.0095 at 0.9018.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1406; (P) 1.1431; (R1) 1.1444; More…

A temporary top is in place at 1.1452 in EUR/CHF with 4 hour MACD crossed below signal line. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. For now, further rise is expected as long as 1.1363 minor support holds. Above 1.1452 will extend the rebound from 1.1242 short term bottom to 1.1489 support turned resistance first. Decisive break there will add to the case of trend reversal ahead of key support zone between 1.1154/98. However, on the downside, below 1.1329 minor support will turn bias to the downside for retesting 1.1242 low instead.

In the bigger picture, for now, the price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by 1.1198 (2016 high), 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. This cluster level is in proximity to long term channel support (now at 1.1189) too. A break of 1.2 key resistance is still expected in the medium term long term. However, sustained break of the mentioned support zone will mark reversal of the long term trend.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9824; (P) 0.9844; (R1) 0.9863; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 0.9953 is still extending. On the upside, firm break of 0.9953 resistance will resume larger rally from 0.9407 to 1.0072 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.9720 will extend the decline from 0.9953 to 61.8% retracement of 0.8407 to 0.9953 at 0.9616.

In the bigger picture, as long as 38.2% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.0072 holds, price actions from 0.9407 medium term bottom will be treated as a corrective pattern. That is, long term down trend would resume through this low at a later stage. Nevertheless, firm break of 1.0072 will also have 55 week EMA (now at 1.0053) taken out. That would be an initial sign of long term bullish reversal.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF’s recovery was capped at 0.9923 last week despite brief break of 4 hour 55 EMA. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Still, in case of another fall, downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 0.9407 to 1.0095 at 0.9832, to complete the corrective pattern from 1.0095. Break of 0.9923 will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound towards 1.0067/0095 resistance zone.

In the bigger picture, the rejection by 55 week EMA (now at 1.0025) mixed up the outlook. On the upside, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will raise the chance of bullish trend reversal. Rise from 0.9407 should then target 1.0505 cluster resistance (2020 low at 1.0505, 61.8% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.1484). However, firm break of 0.9832 support will revive medium term bearishness and bring retest of 0.9407 low instead.

In the long term picture, it’s still way to early too call for bullish trend reversal with upside capped well below 55 month EMA and 1.0505 support turned resistance (2020 low).

EUR/CHF is staying in consolidation from 1.0365 and intraday bias remains neutral first. Further decline is expected as long as 1.0511 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.0365 will resume larger down trend from 1.1149 to 161.8% projection of 1.1149 to 1.0694 from 1.0936 at 1.0200 next.

In the bigger picture, long term down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is now extending. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 1.0223. On the upside, break of 1.0694 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish even in case of rebound.

As long s 1.1350 support turned resistance holds, corrective fall from 1.1476 could still extend lower towards 1.1162 low. We’d expect strong support above there to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.1350 will suggests that the pull back has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1162 at 1.1484 again.

In the bigger picture, at this point, we’re slightly favoring the case that corrective fall from 1.2004 has completed after being supported by 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154. Decisive break of 1.1501 resistance should confirm and target 1.1713 resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 1.1154 is needed to confirm down trend resumption. Otherwise, medium term outlook will be neutral at worst.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9532; (P) 0.9545; (R1) 0.9562; More

EUR/CHF’s rally is in progress for 0.9574 fibonacci resistance. Considering loss of momentum as seen in 4H MACD, upside could be limited there, at least on first attempt. On the downside, break of 0.9466 support will indicate short term topping, and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.9252 are tentatively seen as a correction to the five-wave down trend from 1.0095 (2023 high). Further rise would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.0095 to 0.9252 at 0.9574 and possibly above. But overall medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 0.9683 resistance holds.

EUR/CHF’s strong rally and break of 1.1319 minor resistance suggests short term bottoming at 1.1178. More importantly, considering bullish convergence in 4 hour and daily MACD too, EUR/CHF should have drawn strong support from 1.1154/98 and is reversing. Intraday bias is turned back to the upside. Decisive break of 1.1452 resistance will be another indication that whole fall from 1.2004 has completed. On the downside, however, break of 1.1265 minor support will turn focus back to 1.1154/98 key support zone.

In the bigger picture, for now, the price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by support zone of 1.1198 (2016 high) and 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. This cluster level is in proximity to long term channel support (now at 1.1196) too. A break of 1.2 key resistance is still expected in the medium term long term. However, sustained break of the mentioned support zone will mark reversal of the long term trend. In that case, 1.0629 key support will be back into focus.

EUR/CHF strengthens to 1.1511 so far today but stays below 1.1537 resistance. Intraday bias remains neutral first and more consolidation could be seen. But in case of another fall, downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 1.0830 to 1.1537 at 1.1267 to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.1537 resistance will confirm resumption of larger rally from 1.0629. In that case, EUR/CHF should target 1.2 key resistance level next.

In the bigger picture, long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015 is still in progress. EUR/CHF should now be heading back to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1087 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9589; (P) 0.9636; (R1) 0.9721; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF stays neutral first with focus on 0.9712 resistance. Decisive break there will argue that fall from 0.9864 has completed totally at 0.9407, and bring stronger rally back to this résistance. Further break there will carry larger bullish implication. Nevertheless, break of 0.9548 minor support will retain near term bearishness, and bring retest of 0.9407 low first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 0.9864 resistance holds, long term down trend from 1.2004 (2008 high) is expected to continue. Next target is 138.2% projection of 1.2004 to 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 0.9033. However, firm break of 0.9864 will indicate medium term bottoming, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Stronger rally would then be seen back to 55 week EMA (now at 1.0188).

EUR/CHF’s rally from 0.9476 continues today and intraday bias stays on the upside. Further rally would be seen to retest 0.9928 resistance. Firm break there will resume whole rally from 0.9252. On the downside, below 0.9680 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 0.9252 medium term bottom might not be completed yet. But even in case of resumption, strong resistance could emerge from 1.0095 to limit upside. Medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 1.0094 structural resistance holds. Meanwhile, break of 0.9476 will bring retest of 0.9252 low.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral as range trading continues. With 1.0721 support intact, further rise is expected. On the upside, break of 1.0877 will resume the rebound from 1.0602 and target at test on 1.0915 high. On the downside, break of 1.0721 will argue that the rebound from 1.0602 has completed and turn bias back to the downside for retesting this support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.0503 are still seen as a consolidation pattern. With 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) intact, the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1059/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains mildly on the upside as rise from 1.0694 is still in progress. Current development suggests that fall from 1.1149 has completed already. Further rally is expected to 1.0985 resistance next. However, on the downside, break of 1.0780 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0694 low instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0505 (2020 low) should have completed at 1.1149 already. The three-wave corrective structure argues that the downtrend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is not over yet. Medium term outlook will now stay bearish as long as 55 week EMA (now at 1.0859) holds. Break of 1.0505 low would be seen at a later stage. However, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will bring retest of 1.1149 high instead.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF’s rise from 1.0503 extended to as high as 1.1149 last week. But it couldn’t sustain above 100% projection of 1.0503 to 1.0915 from 1.0737 at 1.1149 and retreated. Initial bias is turned neutral this week for consolidations first. But further rally is expected as long as 1.0954 support holds. Outlook in EUR/CHF remains unchanged as consolidation from 1.1119 is in progress. In case of stronger rise, upside should be below 1.1278 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, below 1.1186 minor support will turn intraday bias back to the downside for 1.1119 first. Break there will extend recent down trend to 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.1173 from 1.1476 at 1.0962 next limited.

In the bigger picture, current development firstly suggests that down trend from 1.2004 is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1476 resistance holds. EUR/CHF could target 1.0629 support and below.
