EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0848; (P) 1.0860; (R1) 1.0879; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral and further rise is in favor with 1.0833 support intact. On the upside, break of 1.0902 will resume the rise from 1.0694 to 1.0985 resistance next. However, on the downside, break of 1.0833 support will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0694 low instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0505 (2020 low) should have completed at 1.1149 already. The three-wave corrective structure argues that the downtrend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is not over yet. Medium term outlook will now stay bearish as long as 55 week EMA (now at 1.0858) holds. Break of 1.0505 low would be seen at a later stage. However, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will bring retest of 1.1149 high instead.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1055; (P) 1.1073; (R1) 1.1085; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 1.1056 is in progress. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited below 1.1264 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 1.1056 will extend the larger down trend for 61.8% projection of 1.2004 to 1.1173 from 1.1476 at 1.0962 next.

In the bigger picture, current development firstly suggests that down trend from 1.2004 is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1476 resistance holds. EUR/CHF could target 1.0629 support and below.

EUR/CHF’s break of 1.1663 minor resistance suggests that pull back from 1.1709 has completed with three waves down to 1.1541 already. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.1709 resistance first. Break there will resume medium term rally and target 61.8% projection of 1.1387 to 1.1709 from 1.1541 at 1.1740 first, and then 100% projection at 1.1863. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1541 support holds.

In the bigger picture, long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015 is still in progress. EUR/CHF should now be heading back to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1355 support holds. However, break of 1.1355 will indicate medium term topping. In that case, EUR/CHF should head back to 55 week EMA (now at 1.1105) and possibly below.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0698; (P) 1.0711; (R1) 1.0720; More

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains on the downside at this point. Current down trend should target 61.8% projection of 1.1476 to 1.0811 from 1.1059 at 1.0648. As it’s close to 1.0629 long term support, we’d look for bottoming signal around there. However, break of 1.0788 resistance is needed to indicate short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2004 is (2018 high) is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Further fall should be seen to 1.0629 support and sustained break will put parity back into focus. On the upside, break of 1.1059 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0929; (P) 1.0946; (R1) 1.0960; More…

A temporary top is formed at 1.0964 again and intraday bias in EUR/CHF is turned neutral for consolidation. Downside of retreat should be contained by 1.0893 support to bring another rally. Above 1.0964 will target 1.0986/0999 resistance zone. Break there will extend whole rally from 1.0629 to 61.8% projection of 1.0652 to 1.0986 from 1.0830 at 1.1036.

In the bigger picture, the price actions from 1.1198 are seen as a corrective move. Such correction could have completed after defending 38.2% retracement of 0.9771 to 1.1198 at 1.0653. Decisive break of 1.0999 resistance will target a test on 1.1198 high. For now, this will be the preferred case as long as 1.0830 support holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1028; (P) 1.1045; (R1) 1.1067; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for the moment. Consolidation from 1.1149 is still in progress and deeper decline cannot be ruled out. But downside should be contained by 1.0954 to bring rebound, and then rally resumption. On the upside, break of 1.1116 will argue that larger rise from 1.0504 is ready to resume through 1.1149 high.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) should have completed at 1.0503. Rise from there is starting a medium term up trend. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1431 and above. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0713; (P) 1.0723; (R1) 1.0745; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral for the moment. With 1.0689 minor support intact, we continue to favor the case of trend reversal, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD, after defending 1.0620 key support level. That is, correction from 1.1198 could have completed. Above 1.0823 will target 1.0897 resistance next. However, break of 1.0689 support will dampen our view and turn focus back to 1.0629 low again.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.1198 is seen as a corrective move. Decisive break of 1.0897 resistance should confirm that it’s completed. And in that case, larger up trend is resuming for another high above 1.1198. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 38.2% retracement of 0.9771 to 1.1198 at 1.0653 will target 50% retracement at 1.0485.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1592; (P) 1.1625; (R1) 1.1686; More…

EUR/CHF’s rally resumed after brief consolidation and reaches as high as 1.1660 so far. Intraday bias is back on the upside. The solid break of 1.1622 resistance confirms resumption of medium term rally. Further rise should now be seen to 61.8% projection of 1.0652 to 1.1622 from 1.1387 at 1.1986, which is close to 1.2 key level. On the downside, break of 1.1560 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015 is still in progress. EUR/CHF should now be heading back to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1198 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0752; (P) 1.0764; (R1) 1.0781; More

EUR/CHF is staying in sideway trading and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. With 1.0721 support intact, further rise remains in favor. On the upside, break of 1.0877 will resume the rebound from 1.0602 and target 1.0915 high. On the downside, break of 1.0721 will argue that the rebound from 1.0602 has completed and turn bias back to the downside for retesting this support.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.0503 are still seen as a consolidation pattern. With 1.1059 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1076) intact, the down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) would still extend through 1.0503 low at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1059/76 will argue that rise from 1.0503 is starting a new up trend and would target 61.8% retracement at 1.1431 and above.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1694; (P) 1.1710; (R1) 1.1733; More…

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral at this point and outlook is unchanged. While there is no confirmation yet, we’d maintain that the cross is close to topping. And in case of another rise, strong resistance should be seen well below 1.2 handle to bring medium term reversal. On the downside, break of 1.1602 support will indicate reversal and turn outlook bearish for 1.1387 and below.

In the bigger picture, while a medium term top could be around the corner, there is no change in the larger outlook. That is, long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015 is still in progress and would extend. As long as 1.1198 resistance turned support holds, we’ll hold on to this bullish view and expect another to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. Though, we’ll reassess the outlook if 1.1198 is firmly taken out.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0933; (P) 1.0953; (R1) 1.0966; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. As long as 1.0915 cluster support (38.2% retracement 1.0505 to 1.1149 at 1.0903) holds, we’d still treat the price actions from 1.1149 as a correction. Break of 1.1026 resistance would argue that larger up trend is resuming. However, sustained break of 1.0903/15 will suggest bearish reversal, or at least bring deeper fall to next cluster support zone at 1.0737 support zone (61.8% retracement at 1.0751).

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 2004 (2018 high) should have completed at 1.0503. Rise from there is starting a medium term up trend. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.0503 at 1.1431 and above. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0915 resistance turned support holds. However, sustained break of 1.0915 will argue that rise from 1.0503 might be completed, and bring deeper fall to 1.0737 support next.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1357; (P) 1.1369; (R1) 1.1383; More…

EUR/CHF is staying in consolidation from 1.1444 and intraday bias remains neutral. Consolidation from 1.1444 could extend further. But as long as 1.1310 support holds, further rally remains in favor. On the upside, break of 1.1444 will resume the rebound from 1.1181 and target 1.1501 key resistance next. On the downside, firm break of 1.1310 will indicate completion of the rebound. In that case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.1181 low again.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by 1.1154/98 support zone to complete it and bring rebound. Decisive break of 1.1501 (38.2% retracement of 1.2004 to 1.1173 at 1.1490) will confirm completion of the correction. Further rise should be seen to 61.8% retracement at 1.1687 and above next.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0711; (P) 1.0723; (R1) 1.0745; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF is turned neutral with current recovery. But further decline is expected as long as 1.0770 resistance holds. Decisive break of 1.0694 support will resume whole decline from 1.1149. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.1149 to 1.0694 from 1.0936 at 1.0655. On the upside, though, break of 1.0770 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for rebound towards 1.0811 support turned resistance first.

In the bigger picture, the rejection by 55 week EMA maintains medium term bearishness. Fall from 1.1149 (2021 high) is currently seen as the second leg of the patter from 1.0505 (2020 low) first. Hence, in case of deeper fall, we’d look for strong support from 1.0505 to bring rebound. However, sustained break of 1.0505 will resume the long term down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high). Also, medium term outlook will now be neutral at best as long as 1.0936 resistance holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9712; (P) 0.9732; (R1) 0.9754; More

Range trading continues in EUR/CHF and intraday bias remains neutral. Strong support is still expected around 61.8% retracement of 0.9407 to 1.0095 at 0.9670 to complete the whole corrective pattern from 1.0095. On the upside, firm break of 0.9760 resistance will confirm short term bottoming, and turn bias back to the upside for 0.9878 resistance next. However, sustained break of 0.9670 will pave the way back to 0.9407 low instead.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection by 38.2% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.0072 suggests that medium term outlook is staying bearish. The pair is also capped below 55 W EMA (now at 0.9945). Down trend from 1.2004 (2018 high) is not completed yet and is in favor to resume through 0.9407 at a later stage. However, decisive break of 1.0095 resistance will raise the chance of bullish trend reversal. Rise from 0.9407 should then target 1.0505 cluster resistance (2020 low at 1.0505, 61.8% retracement of 1.1149 to 0.9407 at 1.1484).

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0765; (P) 1.0806; (R1) 1.0827; More….

EUR/CHF’s fall from 1.0936 resumed by breaking 1.0811 temporary low. Intraday bias is back on the downside for retesting 1.0694 low. On the upside, above 1.0860 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0936 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, the stronger than expected rebound from 1.0694 and break of 55 week EMA (now at 1.0861) mixes up the medium term outlook. On the upside, break of 1.1149 will resume the whole rise from 1.0505 (2020 low). On the downside, break of 1.0694 will revive some medium term bearishness for 1.0505 and below.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1471; (P) 1.1494; (R1) 1.1524; More….

EUR/CHF’s recovery from 1.1387 resumed and intraday bias is mildly on the upside for further rise. Still, break of 1.1622 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, the consolidation from should continue with risk of at least another fall. Below 1.1450 will turn bias to the downside for 1.1387 and below. Strong support in expect at 1.1257 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.0652 to 1.1622 at 1.1251) to contain downside and bring rebound.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1243; (P) 1.1345; (R1) 1.1429; More…

EUR/CHF’s correction extended to as low as 1.1260 and draws support from 38.2% retracement of 1.0830 to 1.1537 at 1.1267 to recover. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. Break of 1.1394 will suggests that such pull back is completed and turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1537 first. However, firm break of 1.1267 will extend the fall and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1100.

In the bigger picture, firm break of 1.1198 key resistance confirms resumption of the long term rise from SNB spike low back in 2015. In this case, EUR/CHF would eventually head back to prior SNB imposed floor at 1.2000. For now, this will be the favored case as long as 1.1087 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF continued to engage in sideway trading last week. The corrective price actions and it’s stay below falling 55 days EMA affirmed near term bearishness. Break of 1.0677 will extend recent decline to 1.0620 key support level. On the upside, above 1.0762 will turn focus back to 1.0897 resistance. But decisive break there is needed to confirm trend reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish for another fall later.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.1198 is seen as a corrective move. Such correction is still in progress and retest of 38.2% retracement of 0.9771 to 1.1198 at 1.0653 could be seen. Sustained trading below 1.0653 will target 50% retracement at 1.0485. Meanwhile, break of 1.0897 resistance will argue that the larger up trend is finally resuming for above 1.1198.

EUR/CHF Weekly Outlook

EUR/CHF dropped to 1.0921 last week but recovered quickly. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Overall outlook is unchanged that it’s bounded in consolidation from 1.0811. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 1.1062 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1476 to 1.0811 at 1.1065) to bring larger down trend resumption. On the downside, below 1.0921 will turn bias to the downside for retesting 1.0811 low.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2004 is (2018 high) is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Further fall should be seen to 1.0629 support and possibly below. On the upside, break of 1.1162 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0771; (P) 1.0789; (R1) 1.0807; More….

EUR/CHF’s fall from 1.0936 continues today and reaches as low as 1.0751 so far. Intraday bias remains on the downside for retesting 1.0694 low. Decisive break there will resume whole decline from 1.1149. On the upside, above 1.0811 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.0860 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains mixed as EUR/CHF is still failing to get rid of 55 week EMA cleanly. On the upside, break of 1.1149 will resume the whole rise from 1.0505 (2020 low). On the downside, break of 1.0694 will revive some medium term bearishness for 1.0505 and below.
