EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4674; (P) 1.4725; (R1) 1.4777; More

EUR/AUD is still bounded inside consolidation from 1.4508 and intraday bias remains neutral. While stronger recovery cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited below 1.4910 resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, break the 1.4508 will resume the decline from 1.5396 to retest 1.4318 low. However, firm break of 1.4910 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rally.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.9799 is still in progress. Break of 1.4318 low will target 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). This will remain the favored case now as long as 1.5396 resistance holds.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD’s rebound from 1.5907 continued last week despite some loss in upside momentum. Further rise is in favor as long as 1.5991 minor support holds, for retesting 1.6434 high. With 1.5898 support intact, larger rise from 1.5250 is still in progress, and break of 1.6434 will confirm resumption. On the downside, however, break of 1.5991 will turn bias back to the downside for 1.5898 structural support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.5250 medium term bottom is currently seen as a correction to the down trend from 1.9799 first. Stronger rise could be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.5250 at 1.6988 next. We’d tentatively expect strong resistance from there to limit upside, at least on first attempt. Meanwhile, break of 1.5898 support will indicate that the rebound has completed. Larger down trend from 1.9799 might be ready to resume through 1.5250 low.

In the longer term picture, rise from 1.1602 (2012 low) should have already completed with three waves up to 1.9799 (2020 high). Fall from there is seen as a medium term to long term down leg as a long term down trend, or a sideway pattern. We’ll assess the odds again at a later stage.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.3916; (P) 1.3965; (R1) 1.4007; More

EUR/AUD’s pull back indicates temporary topping at 1.4014. Intraday bias is turned neutral for consolidation. We’re holding on to the view that a short term bottom was formed at 1.3624, on bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. And, the cross could have defended 1.3671 key support level successfully and is staging trend reversal. Above 1.4014 will target 1.4289 resistance first. Break will affirm this case and target 1.4721 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, below 1.3835 minor support will dampen this bullish view and turn bias back to the downside for 1.3624 low.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. We’d expect strong support from 1.3671 key level to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.4721 resistance will indicate completion of such correction and turn outlook bullish for retesting 1.6587 high. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our bullish view and would turn focus back to 1.1602 long term bottom.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6199; (P) 1.6232; (R1) 1.6289; More

EUR/AUD’s break of 1.6211 support turned resistance indicates short term bottoming at 1.5996. More importantly, correction from 1.7062 might have completed with three waves down to 1.5996, after hitting 1.6000 fibonacci support. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.6418 resistance. Firm break there will strengthen this bullish case. On the downside, though, below 1.6171 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low) only. Strong support is still expected between 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to bring rebound. Break of 1.6418 resistance will argue that the correction has completed.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4149; (P) 1.4249; (R1) 1.4318; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains on the downside for 1.4072 low. Break there will extend the correction from 1.6587 towards next key support level 1.3671.On the upside, above 1.4322 support turned resistance will turn bias neutral again.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a consolidative pattern. 50% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.6587 at 1.4095 was already met. While further fall cannot be ruled out, we’d expect strong support above 1.3671 to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.5094 will be the first sign of resumption of up trend from 1.1602 and target retesting of 1.6587 resistance first.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5595; (P) 1.5649; (R1) 1.5695; More

EUR/AUD edged higher to 1.5701 but failed to extend gain again. Outlook is unchanged that consolidation pattern from 1.5250 might extend further. But upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.6827 to 1.5250 at 1.5852. Overall, down trend from 1.9799 is expected to resume after consolidation from 1.5250 completes.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6033 support turned resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6370; (P) 1.6427; (R1) 1.6493; More

EUR/AUD is staying in consolidation from 1.6267 and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. Outlook stays bearish as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.6593) holds. On the downside, break of 1.6267 will resume larger decline from 1.7062 to 100% projection of 1.7062 to 1.6319 from 1.6844 at 1.6106 next.

In the bigger picture, the break of medium term trend line support now suggests fall from 1.7062 correcting the whole up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000. Strong support could be seen there to bring rebound on first attempt. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.6844 resistance holds. Sustained break of 1.6000 would bring further fall to 61.8% retracement at 1.5343.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6297; (P) 1.6331; (R1) 1.6382; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral and risk stays on the upside as long as 1.6127 support holds. Above 1.6398 will resume the rebound to 1.6478 resistance. Firm break there will argue that whole correction from 1.7062 has completed, and target 1.6844 resistance for confirmation. Nevertheless, break of 1.6127 will resume the corrective fall to 1.6000 fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Strong support should be seen around 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 bring rebound. Break of 1.6844 will argue that this up trend is ready to resume through 1.7062 high.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6502; (P) 1.6535; (R1) 1.6577; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is back on the upside as rise from 1.5996 resumes. Further rally should be seen to 1.6742 resistance. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.7062 should have completed with three waves down to 1.5998. Firm break of 1.6742 will argue that larger up trend is going to resume through 1.7062 high. On the downside, however, break of 1.6491 support will delay the bullish case and turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low) and could have completed after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000. On resumption next target will be 61.8% projection of 1.4281 to 1.7062 from 1.5996 at 1.7715. This will now remain the favored case as long as 55 D EMA (now at 1.6296) holds.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD edged lower to 1.6267 last week but recovered since then. Initial bias remains neutral this week for more consolidations. But outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.6515 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.6267 will resume the whole decline from 1.7062 to 100% projection of 1.7062 to 1.6319 from 1.6844 at 1.6106 next. However, break of 1.6515 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as correcting the whole up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low).

In the longer term picture, fall from 1.9799 (2020 high) is seen as a long term decline at the same scale as the rise from 1.1602 (2012 low). Rebound from 1.4281 is seen as the second leg. As long as 55 M EMA (now at 1.5846) holds, this second leg could still extend higher. However, sustained trading below 55 M EMA will open up the bearish case for extending the decline through 1.4281 low.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD edged lower to 1.5657 last week but quickly recovered. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Risk also stays on the downside with 1.5849 resistance intact. Consolidation pattern from 1.5250 might have completed just missing 38.2% retracement of 1.6827 to 1.5250 at 1.5852. Below 1.5657 will target 1.5418 support first. Sustained break there will solidify this bearish case and target a retest of 1.5250 low. However, on the upside, sustained break of 1.5852 will bring further rally back to 1.6033 support turned resistance.

In the longer term picture rise from 1.1602 (2012 low) could have already completed with three waves up to 1.9799. The development suggests that long term range trading is extending with another medium term down leg. Sustained trading below 55 month EMA (now at 1.5806) further affirms this case and could bring deeper decline to 1.1602/3624 support zone.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD stayed in corrective trading last week, rebounding to 1.5690, followed by steep decline to 1.5425. Initial bias is neutral this week first. For now, in case of another rise, we’d expect strong resistance below 1.5773 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption. Below 1.5425 will bring retest of 1.5271 low first. Break will resume the fall from 1.6189 and target 1.5153 key support next.

In the bigger picture, rally from 1.3624 (2017 low) should have completed at 1.6189 already, ahead of 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high). 1.6189 is seen as a medium term top. Deeper fall would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6189 at 1.5209 first. Decisive break there will pave the way to 61.8% retracement at 1.4604. In that case, we’ll look for bottoming again below 1.4604. On the upside, firm break of 1.5773 support turned resistance is needed to indicate completion of the fall from 1.6189. Otherwise, further decline is expected in medium term, even in case of strong rebound.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3624 key support should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD rose further to 1.5343 last week but retreated ahead of 1.5354 support turned resistance. Initial bias is neutral this week first. On the upside, sustained break of 1.5354 will indicate medium term bottoming at 1.4318. Stronger rally would be seen back to 100% projection of 1.4318 to 1.5277 from 1.4759 at 1.5718. On the downside, however, break of 1.5083 minor support will retain medium term bearishness, and turn bias back to the downside for 1.4759 support instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5354 support turned resistance holds, larger down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) is still expected to continue. On resumption, next target is 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). However, firm break of 1.5354 will indicate medium term bottoming and bring stronger rally back to 1.6434 key resistance.

In the longer term picture, fall from 1.9799 (2020 high) is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 2.1127 (2008 high). Deeper fall should be seen to 1.3624 support. Decisive break there would pave the way back to 1.1602 (2012 low). This will remain the favored case as long as 55 month EMA (now at 1.5713) holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6417; (P) 1.6469; (R1) 1.6501; More

EUR/AUD failed to break through 1.6586 resistance as consolidation from 1.6033 extends. Intraday bias remains neutral first. As long as 1.6586 resistance holds, further decline and break of 1.6033 remains in favor. However, on the upside, sustained break of 1.6585 will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, whole up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) might have completed at 1.9799. Deeper fall could be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. This will remain the preferred case now as long as 1.7194 resistance holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5153; (P) 1.5241; (R1) 1.5304; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD stays neutral for the moment. The larger down trend is still expected to continue as long as 1.5354 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.4920 minor support should resume larger down trend to 161.8% projection of 1.6343 to 1.5354 from 1.6223 at 1.4476. However, sustained break of 1.5354 will bring stronger rise back towards 1.6223 resistance.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.9799 is seen as a long term impulsive move. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). Some support could be seen there to bring interim rebound. But overall, break of 1.5354 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. As long as 1.6772 resistance holds, further decline is still expected. On the downside, break of 1.6033 will resume the fall from 1.9799 and target next support level at 1.5346. On the upside, however, break of 1.6772 resistance will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5500; (P) 1.5583; (R1) 1.5634; More….

EUR/AUD’s decline accelerates to as low as 1.5487 so far and intraday bias remains on the upside. Prior break of 1.5621 support is taken as an indication of medium term reversal. Current fall should target 1.5153 support next. On the upside, above 1.5593 minor resistance will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations. But recovery should be limited well below 1.5773 resistance to bring fall resumption.

On the upside, break of 55 day EMA (now at 1.5849) is needed to indicate completion of the fall from 1.6189. Otherwise, further fall is expected in medium term, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5878; (P) 1.6069; (R1) 1.6165; More

A temporary low should be formed at 1.5970 in EUR/AUD with current recovery. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. On the downside, below 1.5970 will extend the decline from 1.6314 to 1.5894/5906 key support zone. On the upside, above 1.6071 will turn bias back to the upside for recovery.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5894 support holds, outlook remains bullish. Firm break of 1.6786 will resume up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6081) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4016; (P) 1.4067; (R1) 1.4142; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains on the upside as rise from 1.3624 continues. The cross should target 1.4289 resistance next. Current development, with a short term bottom formed at 1.3624, is taken as an early sign of larger trend reversal after defending 1.3671 key support. Break of 1.4289 will confirm this case and target 1.4721 resistance next. However, break of 1.3874 minor support will dampen our bullish view and turn bias back to the downside for 1.3624 instead.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5628; (P) 1.5658; (R1) 1.5694; More

With 1.5762 minor resistance intact, further fall is expected in 1.5591 support. Firm break there will resume larger down trend and target 61.8% projection of 1.6409 to 1.5591 from 1.5945 at 1.5439. On the upside, above 1.5762 minor resistance will delay the bearish case, and extend the consolidation from 1.5591 with another rise.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6827 resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.
