EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5725; (P) 1.5758; (R1) 1.5783; More….

EUR/AUD is staying in consolidation from 1.5886 and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. With 1.5651 minor support intact, further rise is expected in the cross. On the upside, break of 1.5888 resistance will extend rise from 1.5271 towards 1.6139/89 resistance zone. However, break of 1.5651 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.5271 to 1.5886 at 1.5651) will indicate near term reversal and turn bias back to the downside for 1.5271 low.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that fall from 1.6189 is a corrective move and has completed at 1.5271 already. Key support levels of 1.5153 and 38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6189 at 1.5209 were defended. And medium term rise from 1.3624 (2017 low) is still in progress. Break of 1.6189 will target 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high).

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5708; (P) 1.5781; (R1) 1.5826; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. Consolidation from 1.5721 might extend further. But in case of another rise, upside should be limited by 1.6122 near term resistance. On the downside, decisive break of 1.5721 will resume the decline from 1.6765 to 1.5346 key support next.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5346 support holds, outlook will still remain bullish. Uptrend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is expected to resume sooner or later. Break of 1.6765 will target 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488 next. However, firm break of 1.5346 key support will indicate trend reversal, with bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD, and turn outlook bearish.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD’s rebound from 1.6134 extended higher last week and the development argues that correction from 1.6785 has completed, after drawing support from 55 D EMA. Further rise is expected this week as long as 1.6356 minor support holds, to retest 1.6785 high. On the downside, however, break of 1.6309 minor support will dampen this view and turn bias back to the downside for 1.6134 support again.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) should have completed at 1.4281 (2022 low). Further rise should be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.4281 at 1.7691 next. For now, outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.5976 resistance turned support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

In the longer term picture, it’s still early to decide if rise from 1.4281 is resuming whole up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Attention will be paid on the structure on the current rally to make an assessment later.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5536; (P) 1.5609; (R1) 1.5654; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. Corrective pattern from 1.5976 could still extend with another fall. But strong support could be seen from 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.5976 at 1.5329 to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.5749 will resume the rise from 1.5376 for retesting 1.5976 high.

In the bigger picture, it’s still early to confirm if rise from 1.4281 represents bullish trend reversal. But as long as 1.5271 support holds, such rally is in favor to continue. Break of 1.5976 will target 1.6434 key resistance next. On the other hand, firm break of 1.5271 will retain medium term bearishness instead.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5392; (P) 1.5517; (R1) 1.5592; More

Intraday bias stays neutral in EUR/AUD first. While deeper fall cannot be ruled out, strong support could be seen from 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.5976 at 1.5329 to bring rebound.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5518; (P) 1.5552; (R1) 1.5618; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral first with current recovery. Outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.5743 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.5354 support will resume the whole fall from 1.6434 to retest 1.5250 low.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) is in progress. Firm break of 1.5250 low will confirm resumption and target 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 (2012 low) to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Sustained break there could bring more downside acceleration to 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623. In any case, break of 1.6434 resistance is needed to signal medium term bottoming, or outlook will stay bearish.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5971; (P) 1.6003; (R1) 1.6034; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.5970 temporary low. On the downside, below 1.5970 will extend the decline from 1.6314 to 1.5894/5906 key support zone. On the upside, above 1.6071 will turn bias back to the upside for recovery.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5894 support holds, outlook remains bullish. Firm break of 1.6786 will resume up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6081) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD stayed in sideway trading last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. As price actions from 1.5721 is seen as a consolidation pattern, decline from 1.6765 is likely still in progress. That is, a downside breakout is in favor. On the downside, break of 1.5721 low will resume the decline from 1.6765 and target 1.5346 support. On the upside, above 1.6122 will resume the corrective rise from 1.5721 instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5346 support holds, outlook will remain bullish.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) is still in progress for 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488. Firm break there will pave the way to 100% projection of 1.1602 to 1.6587 from 1.3624 at 1.8069. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.5346 remains intact.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD stayed in consolidation below 1.5816 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. Also, near term outlook stays cautiously bullish as long as 1.5606 support holds. Break of 1.5816 should now confirm resumption of medium term rise from 1.3264. In that case, EUR/AUD should target 1.6587 key long term resistance. Meanwhile, firm break of 1.5606 will argue that a short term top is formed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.5501) and below.

In the bigger picture, medium term rise from 1.3624 is not completed yet. Sustained break of 1.5770 will extend the rise to retest 1.6587 (2015 high). However, considering bearish divergence condition in daily MACD, break of 1.4949 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.5770 at 1.4950) will indicate medium term reversal. And there is prospect of retesting 1.3624 low in that bearish case.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3671 should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD stayed in consolidation below 1.4777 temporary top last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. We continue to favor the case that correction from 1.5226 has completed with three waves down to 1.4421 already. Hence, another rally is expected. Break of 1.4777 will turn bias to the upside for 1.5073 resistance first. Break there will indicate resumption of whole rise from 1.3624. However, break of 1.4221 will invalidate our view and extend the decline from 1.5226 to 61.8% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.5226 at 1.4236.

In the bigger picture, we’re holding on to the view that corrective decline from 1.6587 medium term has completed at 1.3624. Rise from 1.3624 is expected to resume to retest 1.6587. The corrective structure of the fall from 1.5226 is affirming this view. Above 1.5226 will target a test on 1.6587 key resistance. However, another decline will dampen our view and would drag EUR/AUD lower to retest key support zone around 1.3624.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3671 should confirm trend reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6293; (P) 1.6333; (R1) 1.6390; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD stays neutral as consolidation form 1.6033 continues. Further decline is expected with 1.6772 resistance intact. On the downside, break of 1.6033 will resume the fall from 1.9799 and target next support level at 1.5346. On the upside, however, break of 1.6772 resistance will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, whole up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) might have completed at 1.9799. Deeper fall could be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. This will remain the preferred case now as long as 1.7194 resistance holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5390; (P) 1.5473; (R1) 1.5521; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD stays neutral as consolidation from 1.5704 is extending. In case of another fall, downside should be contained by 55 day EMA (now at 1.5298) to bring rebound. On the upside, decisive break of 1.5704 will resume larger rise from 1.4281. However, sustained trading below 55 day EMA will bring deeper correction towards 1.4965 resistance turned support.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.4281, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Further rise would be seen back to 1.6434 key resistance next. Break of 1.4965 resistance turned support is needed to indicate reversal. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6908; (P) 1.6987; (R1) 1.7058; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains on the upside at this point. Current rally is part of the up trend from 1.4281. Next target is 1.7377 projection level next. On the downside, break 1.6737 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, outlook will stay bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the rise from 1.4281 (2022 low) is in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.5254 to 1.6785 from 1.5846 at 1.7377. For now, outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.5846 support holds, even in case of another pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6350; (P) 1.6407; (R1) 1.6447; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. With 1.6255 support intact, further rally is expected. As noted before, correction from 1.6785 should have completed with three waves down to 1.5846. Above 1.6552 will target a retest on 1.6785 high next. Nevertheless, on the downside, firm break of 1.6255 will dampen this view and turn bias to the downside for 1.5846 support.

In the bigger picture, with 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.6785 at 1.5828 intact, rally from 1.4281 is still in progress. Firm break of 1.6785 will confirm rise resumption. Next target is 100% projection of 1.5254 to 1.6785 from 1.5846 at 1.7377. On the other hand, rejection by 1.6785 will extend the corrective pattern with another fall leg. But outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.5828 holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6259; (P) 1.6367; (R1) 1.6423; More

No change in EUR/AUD’s outlook s consolidation from 1.6786 is still extending. Deeper fall cannot be ruled out but downside should be contained by 1.6247 resistance turned support to bring rise resumption. On the upside, firm break of 1.6786 will resume larger up trend to 1.7488 projection level. However, sustained break of 1.6247 will bring deeper fall towards 1.5894 support instead.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains bullish and up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is still in progress. Prior support from 55 week EMA indicates medium term bullishness. Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. In any case, break of 1.5894 support is needed to be the first sign of medium term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5567; (P) 1.5600; (R1) 1.5639; More

With 1.5706 resistance intact, further decline is expected in EUR/AUD. Current down trend from 1.9799 should target 61.8% projection of 1.6409 to 1.5591 from 1.5945 at 1.5439. On the upside, above 1.5706 minor resistance will delay the bearish case, and extend the consolidation from 1.5591 with another rise.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6827 resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4567; (P) 1.4632; (R1) 1.4729; More

EUR/AUD’s break of 1.4804 minor resistance argues that fall from 1.5327 is completed at 1.4533 already. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.5327 resistance. For now, such rise is seen as the third leg of the corrective pattern from 1.4561. As long as 1.5327 resistance holds, larger down trend is still expected to continue through 1.4533 at a later stage.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.9799 is seen as a long term impulsive move. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). Some support could be seen there to bring interim rebound. But overall, break of 1.5354 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5400; (P) 1.5425; (R1) 1.5468; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, break of 1.5606 will extend the corrective pattern from 1.5250 with another rise. Intraday bias will be turned to the upside for 1.5689 and then 38.2% retracement of 1.6827 to 1.5250 at 1.5852. On the downside, firm break of 1.5250 support will resume the larger down trend from 1.9799. Next target is 1.4733 long term fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6033 support turned resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD gyrated higher last week but continued to lose up side moment as see in 4 hour MACD. Further rally is expected as long as 1.6053 support holds. Focus is now on 1.6389/6434 cluster resistance zone. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implications. However, break of 1.6053 will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside for 1.5848 support and possibly below.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 1.6389/6434 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.4281 at 1.6389). Sustained break there should confirm that whole down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) has completed. Further rally should then be seen to 61.8% retracement at 1.7691. However, rejection by this cluster resistance will make medium term outlook neutral at best.

In the longer term picture, the strong break above 55 month EMA (now at 1.5616) raised the chance of bullish trend reversal. Firm break of 1.6434 resistance should confirm that the down trend from 1.9799 has completed. It’s still early to decide if the up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is resuming. An assessment will be made after rise from 1.4281 reveals more of its structure.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5593; (P) 1.5657; (R1) 1.5702; More

EUR/AUD’s decline resumed after brief consolidation and intraday bias is back on the downside. Current fall from 1.6434 should target 161.8% projection of 1.6434 to 1.5907 from 1.6232 at 1.5379 next. On the upside, above 1.5753 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again. But near term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.5907 support turned resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.5250 medium term bottom is seen as a correction to the down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) only. With 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.5250 at 1.6988 intact, such down trend is expected to resume at a later stage. Firm break of 1.5250 will target 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 (2012 low) to 1.9799 at 1.4733. In any case, sustained break of 1.6988 fibonacci level is needed to indicate long term reversal.
