EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6633; (P) 1.6697; (R1) 1.6753; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral as sideway trading continues. Further rally is expected as long as 1.6550 support holds. Above 1.6843 will target a test on 1.7062 high. Firm break there will resume larger up trend. However, break of 1.6550 support will bring deeper fall back to 1.6319 support instead.

In the bigger picture, the strong support from medium term rising trend line indicates that rise from 1.4281 (2022 low) is still in progress. Sustained break of 1.7062 will pave the way to 61.8% retracement of 1.9799 (2020 high) to 1.4281 at 1.7691. In any case, outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.6319 support holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5840; (P) 1.5896; (R1) 1.5962; More

EUR/AUD is staying below 1.5959 temporary top despite strong recovery. Intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. At this point, we’re still slightly favoring the bullish case that correction from 1.6765 has completed with three waves down to 1.5683. On the upside, above 1.5959 affirm this week and target 1.6122 resistance for confirmation. On the downside, in case of another fall, downside should be contained above 1.5683 to bring rise resumption.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5346 support holds, outlook will still remain bullish. Uptrend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is expected to resume sooner or later. Break of 1.6765 will target 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488 next. However, firm break of 1.5346 key support will indicate trend reversal, with bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD, and turn outlook bearish.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4873; (P) 1.4934; (R1) 1.4998; More….

With 1.5042 minor resistance intact, deeper fall is expected in EUR/AUD to 1.4732 support. Break of 1.4732 support will confirm that fall from 1.5173 is the third leg of consolidation pattern from 1.5226. In that case, further fall should be seen to 1.4421 again. But we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside and bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.5042 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.5173 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, we’re holding on to the view that corrective decline from 1.6587 medium term has completed at 1.3624. Rise from 1.3624 is expected to extend to retest 1.6587. The corrective structure of the price actions from 1.5226 is affirming this view. Above 1.5226 will target a test on 1.6587 key resistance. However, break of 1.4421 will dampen our view and would drag EUR/AUD lower to retest key support zone around 1.3624.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD stayed in consolidation above 1.5774 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. With 1.6154 resistance intact, deeper fall is expected. On the downside, break of 1.5774 will resume the decline from 1.6765 and target 1.5346 key support next. On the upside, break of 1.6154 will argue that the pull back has completed. Intraday bias will then be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.6765.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high) argues that up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is not ready to resume yet. But still, as long as 1.5346 support holds, outlook will remain bullish. Break of 1.6765 will target 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488 next. However, firm break of 1.5346 key support will indicate trend reversal, with bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD, and turn outlook bearish.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) is still in progress for 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488. Firm break there will pave the way to 100% projection of 1.1602 to 1.6587 from 1.3624 at 1.8069. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.5346 remains intact.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD drew supported from 1.5626 and bottomed at 1.5621, then rebounded strongly. The development suggests that larger up t rend from 1.3624 is not finished yet. Initial bias remains on the upside this week for retesting 1.5976 high first. Break will resume the upside for 61.8% projection of 1.5130 to 1.5976 from 1.5621 at 1.6130 first. On the downside, below 1.5784 minor support will delay the bullish case and turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that rise from 1.3624 is not completed yet. And it’s still in progress for 1.6587 key resistance level. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside, on bearish divergence condition in daily MACD. But for now, break of 1.5153 support is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stays bullish even in case of deep pull back.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3671 should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6050; (P) 1.6094; (R1) 1.6170; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains mildly on the upside. Rebound from 1.5905 short term bottom is still in progress for 1.6308 support turned resistance first. Firm break there should confirm completion of whole fall from 1.6789 and target this resistance again. For now, in case of another decline, we’d continue to expect strong support from 1.5894 to contain downside to bring rebound. However, sustained break will carry larger bearish implications and target 1.5683 support next.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5894 support holds, outlook remains bullish. Firm break of 1.6786 will resume up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6008) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6088; (P) 1.6128; (R1) 1.6151; More

EUR/AUD is losing some upside momentum as seen in 4 hour MACD. But with 1.5991 minor support intact, further is still in favor to retest 1.6434 high. Break there will resume larger rise from 1.5250. However, on the downside, below 1.5991 minor support will turn bias back to 1.5898 key structural support instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.5250 medium term bottom is currently seen as a correction to the down trend from 1.9799 first. Stronger rise could be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.5250 at 1.6988 next. We’d tentatively expect strong resistance from there to limit upside, at least on first attempt. Meanwhile, break of 1.5898 support will indicate that the rebound has completed. Larger down trend from 1.9799 might be ready to resume through 1.5250 low.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6549; (P) 1.6646; (R1) 1.6758; More

EUR/AUD is staying in range trading from 1.6538 and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 1.6538 will resume whole decline form 1.9799. Also, sustained trading below 1.6597 key support will carry larger bearish implication and target 1.5962 support next. On the upside, break of 1.7194 resistance should confirm short term bottoming and turn near term outlook bullish.

In the bigger picture, focus stays on 1.6597 key cluster support, (2015 high and 38.2% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.6668, 55 week EMA (now at 1.6532). Strong rebound from current level will retain medium term bullishness. Larger up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) would extend through 1.9799 high. However, sustained break of 1.6597 will suggest bearish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.4733.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6114; (P) 1.6147; (R1) 1.6187; More

EUR/AUD’s consolidation pattern from 1.6294 is still unfolding and intraday bias remains neutral. In case of deeper pull back, downside should be contained above 1.5962 support to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.6314 will re-affirm medium term bullishness and target 1.6432 next.

However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6082) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AD recovered to 1.4940 last week but retreated since then. Initial bias is neutral this week work. It’s seen as extending the consolidation pattern from 1.4561 and more sideway trading could be seen. But after all, outlook remains bearish as long as 1.5327 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.4533 will resume larger down trend.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.9799 is seen as a long term impulsive move. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). Some support could be seen there to bring interim rebound. But overall, break of 1.5354 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the longer term picture, fall from 1.9799 (2020 high) is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 2.1127 (2008 high). Deeper fall should be seen to 1.3624 support. Decisive break there would pave the way back to 1.1602 (2012 low).

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5905; (P) 1.5985; (R1) 1.6118; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral first. Further fall is expected with 1.6071 minor resistance intact. Break of 1.5963 will target 1.5894/5906 key support zone. On the upside, above 1.6071 will turn bias back to the upside for recovery.

However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6077) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5356; (P) 1.5425; (R1) 1.5516; More….

Break of 1.5446 resistance revives that case that pull back from 1.5770 is already completed at 1.5153. Intraday bias is turned back to the upside for retesting 1.5770. Break will resume whole medium term rise from 1.3624. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.5259 minor support holds.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.5770 so far suggests that it’s corrective in nature. That is, medium term rise from 1.3624 is not completed yet. Break of 1.5770 will extend the rise to retest 1.6587 (2015 high). However, considering bearish divergence condition in daily MACD, sustained break of 1.4949 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.5770 at 1.4950) will indicate medium term reversal. And there is prospect of retesting 1.3624 low in that bearish case.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5187; (P) 1.5257; (R1) 1.5345; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral at this point. For now, further rally is in favor as long as 1.5047 support holds. Firm break of 1.5416 will carry larger bullish implication. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.4281 to 1.4965 from 1.4716 at 1.5823. However, break of 1.5047 will turn bias back to the downside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.4866).

In the bigger picture, current development raises the chance of medium term bottoming at at 1.4281, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Firm break of 1.5396 will bring stronger rally back to 1.6434 key resistance next. Nevertheless, rejection by 1.5396 will maintain medium term bearishness for another fall through 1.4281 at a later stage.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6050; (P) 1.6095; (R1) 1.6170; More

EUR/AUD’s break of 1.6116 resistance aruges that pull back from 1.6434 has completed after defending 1.5898 structural support. Larger rise from 1.5250 is still in progress. Intraday bias is back on the upside for retesting 1.6434 first. On the downside, below 1.5991 minor support will turn bias back to 1.5898 key structural support instead.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5698; (P) 1.5760; (R1) 1.5819; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral at this point and consolidation from 1.5887 might extend. Downside of retreat should be contained by 1.5596 support to bring another rally. On the upside, break of 1.5887 will target 1.5984 support turned resistance first. Break will pave the way to retest 1.6357 high next. However, break of 1.5596 will suggest that the rebound is completed. Intraday bias would then be turned back to the downside for 1.5346 low.

In the bigger picture, no change in the view that 1.6357 is a medium term top. But the strong rebound ahead of 1.5271 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6357 at 1.5313) suggests price actions from 1.6357 are developing into sideway consolidation, rather than a deep correction. The range of 1.5271/6357 is likely set for the consolidation. And we don’t expect a break of the range any time soon. But decisive break of 1.6357 will resume the larger up trend from 1.3624 (2017 low) to 1.6587 (2015 high).

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.3691; (P) 1.3752; (R1) 1.3785; More

EUR/AUD’s decline resumed by taking out 1.3722 and intraday bias is back on the downside. Bullish convergence condition is seen in 4 hour MACD. Also, price actions from 1.6587 are seen as a corrective move. Hence, we’d expect strong support from 1.3671 key level to contain downside and bring rebound. Break of 1.3900 resistance will indicate near term reversal and turn bias back to the upside for 1.4025 resistance and above.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. We’d expect strong support from 1.3671 key level to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.4721 resistance will indicate completion of such correction and turn outlook bullish for retesting 1.6587 high. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our bullish view and would turn focus back to 1.1602 long term bottom.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6425; (P) 1.6506; (R1) 1.6567; More

EUR/AUD’s fall from 1.6844 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside, with focus on 1.6449 support. Decisive break there will argue that corrective pattern from 1.6319 has completed at 1.6844. More importantly, decline from 1.17062 is ready to resume through 1.6319 next. On the upside, above 1.6601 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, the break of medium term trend line support now suggests that a medium term top was already formed at 1.7062. Fall from there is seen as correcting the whole up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Firm break of 1.6449 support will solidify this bearish case and target 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD’s rebound from 1.5271 extended higher last week but lost momentum ahead of 1.5773 key support turned resistance. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. Sustained break of 1.5773 will indicate that whole decline from 1.6189 has completed with three waves down to 1.5271 already. And retest of 1.6189 should be seen next. On the downside, break of 1.5617 minor support will turn bias to the downside for 1.5425. Break there will confirm completion of rebound from 1.5271 and target this low again.

In the bigger picture, focus is back on 1.5773 support turned resistance with the current strong rebound. Firm break there will argue that medium term rise from 1.3624 (2017 low) is not completed yet. Further break of 1.6189 will target 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high). Though, rejection by 1.5773 will revive the case of bearish trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6189 at 1.4604.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3624 key support should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5519; (P) 1.5560; (R1) 1.5606; More

Range trading continues in EUR/AUD and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, break of 1.5650 resistance will revive that case that correction from 1.5976 has completed at 1.5254. Intraday bias will be back on the upside for 1.5749 resistance first. On the downside, firm break of 1.5254/71 will carry larger bearish implication and resume the fall from 1.5976.

In the bigger picture, it’s still early to confirm if rise from 1.4281 represents bullish trend reversal. But as long as 1.5271 support holds, such rally is in favor to continue. Break of 1.5976 will target 1.6434 key resistance next. On the other hand, firm break of 1.5271 will retain medium term bearishness instead.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD dropped notably last week but failed to break through 1.5354 low and turned sideway. Initial bias remains neutral this week first, but further fall is in favor as long as 1.5743 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.5354 will resume whole fall from 1.6434 to retest 1.5250 low. Nevertheless, break of 1.5743 will turn near term outlook bullish for 1.5907 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) is in progress. Firm break of 1.5250 low will confirm resumption and target 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 (2012 low) to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Sustained break there could bring more downside acceleration to 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623. In any case, break of 1.6434 resistance is needed to signal medium term bottoming, or outlook will stay bearish.

In the longer term picture, fall from 1.9799 (2020 high) is seen as a long term down trend. Sustained break of 61.8 retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733 will extend the decline to 1.3624 long term support and possibly below.
