EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5719; (P) 1.5745; (R1) 1.5778; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral at this point. Risk stays on the downside with 1.5849 resistance intact. Consolidation pattern from 1.5250 might have completed just missing 38.2% retracement of 1.6827 to 1.5250 at 1.5852. Below 1.5665 will target 1.5418 support first. Sustained break there will solidify this bearish case and target a retest of 1.5250 low.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6033 support turned resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6038; (P) 1.6067; (R1) 1.6088; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral as consolidation from 1.5996 is still extending. Outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6211 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, break of 1.5996 will target 100% projection of 1.6679 to 1.6211 from 1.6418 at 1.5950. Firm break there will target 1.5846 key support next.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low) only. Strong support is still expected between 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to bring rebound. Break of 1.6148 resistance will argue that the correction has completed.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5655; (P) 1.5742; (R1) 1.5791; More….

EUR/AUD’s break of 1.5742 temporary low confirms fall resumption. Intraday bias is back on the downside. As noted before, prior break of 1.5984 support is taken as an early sign of medium term trend reversal. Fall from 1.6357 should now target 1.5601 key support first. Decisive break there will pave the way to 1.5271/5313 cluster support zone next. On the upside, break of 1.5853 minor resistance is needed to indicate short term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that up trend from 1.3624 (2017 low) is possibly completed at 1.6357, ahead of 1.6587 (2015 high). This is supported by bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD. Deeper decline is now in favor to 1.5271 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6357 at 1.5313). Break will target 61.8% retracement at 1.4668. On the upside, break of 1.6357 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, risk will now stay on the downside even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6160; (P) 1.6231; (R1) 1.6322; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains on the upside for this point. Firm break of 1.6308 support turned resistance should confirm completion of whole fall from 1.6789 and target this resistance again. On the downside, below 1.6128 will turn bias to the downside for another test on 1.5894 key support level instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5894 support holds, outlook remains bullish. Firm break of 1.6786 will resume up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. However, sustained break of 1.5894 will have 55 week EMA (now at 1.6008) firmly taken out too. That should indicate medium term topping and target 1.5346 key support next.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4860; (P) 1.4904; (R1) 1.4928; More….

With 1.5042 minor resistance intact, deeper decline is expected in EUR/AUD to 1.4732 support. Decisive break there confirm that fall from 1.5173 is the third leg of consolidation pattern from 1.5226. In that case, further fall should be seen to 1.4421 again. But we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside and bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.5042 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.5173/5226 resistance zone instead.

In the bigger picture, we’re holding on to the view that corrective decline from 1.6587 medium term has completed at 1.3624. Rise from 1.3624 is expected to extend to retest 1.6587. The corrective structure of the price actions from 1.5226 is affirming this view. Above 1.5226 will target a test on 1.6587 key resistance. However, break of 1.4421 support will dampen our view and would drag EUR/AUD lower to retest key support zone around 1.3624.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6450; (P) 1.6591; (R1) 1.6667; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral with current recovery, and some consolidations could be seen. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.6793 resistance holds. Fall from 1.7062 is seen as a larger scale correction. Below 1.6452 will target 1.6000 fibonacci level.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that fall from 1.7062 is probably correcting whole up trend from 1.4281. Deeper decline would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000. Strong support should be seen there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD edged higher to 1.4309 last week but dropped sharply since then. Nonetheless, it’s holding above 1.3782 support for the moment. Hence, we’re still mildly favoring the case of trend reversal after defending key support level at 1.3671. And another rise is expected ahead after the pull back from 1.4309 finishes.

Initial bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral first. Another rise is expected as long as 1.3872 minor support holds. Break of 1.4309 will extend the rebound from 1.3624 to 1.4721 key resistance level next. Break should confirm larger trend reversal. However, firm break of 1.3872 support will dampen our bullish view. In such case, intraday bias will be turned back to the downside for 1.3624 low instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. Such correction could be completed after testing 1.3671 support. Break of 1.4721 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6587 to 1.3624 at 1.4756) should confirm this case and target 61.8% retracement at 1.5455 and above. Overall, we’d expect the up trend from 1.1602 to resume later. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our bullish view and would turn extend the fall from 1.6587 towards 1.1602 long term bottom.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3671 should confirm trend reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4134; (P) 1.4179; (R1) 1.4213; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral at this point. Price action from 1.4025 are seen as a corrective pattern and thus maintain near term bearishness. Below 1.4025 will resume the larger fall from 1.6587 to key support level at 1.3671. We’d expect downside to be contained there to bring reversal. Meanwhile, above 1.4251 minor resistance will turn focus back to 1.4721 resistance.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a consolidative pattern. 50% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.6587 at 1.4095 was already met. While further fall cannot be ruled out, we’d expect strong support above 1.3671 to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.4721 resistance will be the first sign of resumption of up trend from 1.1602 and target retesting of 1.6587 high first.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6450; (P) 1.6492; (R1) 1.6518; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral first with current recovery. On the downside, break of 1.6449 will target 1.6319 support first. Firm break there will resume the whole decline from 1.7062. However, above 1.6843 will resume the rebound from 1.6319 towards 1.7062 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that 1.7062 is already a medium term top. Fall from there is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). While deeper decline might be seen, strong support should emerge from 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to contain downside. However, sustained break of 1.6000 will raise the chance of bearish tend reversal.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0946; (P) 1.0972; (R1) 1.0985; More

Break of 1.0974 support suggests that corrective rebound form 1.0811 has completed at 1.1059 already. Intraday bias is back on the downside. Further fall should be seen to retest 1.0811 low. On the upside, break of 1.1012 minor resistance will delay the bearish case and turn intraday bias neutral first. But in case of another rise, we’d still expect strong resistance from 1.1062 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.1476 to 1.0811 at 1.1065) to limit upside.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2004 is (2018 high) is still in progress. More importantly, it’s likely a long term down trend itself, rather than a correction. Further fall should be seen to 1.0629 support and possibly below. On the upside, break of 1.1162 support turned resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.3930; (P) 1.3985; (R1) 1.4027; More

With 1.4075 minor resistance intact, deeper fall is expected in EUR/AUD even though downside momentum is diminishing. Current fall from 1.4721 is seen as part of the larger decline from 1.6587. We’d expect strong support from 1.3671 to contain downside and bring reversal, possibly on bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. On the upside, above 1.4075 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. Break of 1.4289 resistance will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for 1.4721 resistance.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a consolidative pattern. While further fall cannot be ruled out, we’d expect strong support above 1.3671 to contain downside and bring rebound. Up trend from 1.1602 should not be finished and will resume later. Break of 1.4721 resistance will indicate completion of such correction and outlook bullish for retesting 1.6587 high.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4953; (P) 1.5009; (R1) 1.5115; More

EUR/AUD’s rise from 1.4625 resumed by taking out 1.4997 and reaches as high as 1.5074 so far. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.5226 resistance. Rise from 1.3624 is possibly resuming. Break of 1.5226 will confirm and target 1.5455 fibonacci level next. On the downside, however, break of 1.4901 minor support will dampen this bullish view and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. Such correction should be completed at 1.3624 after defending 1.3671 key support. Rise from 1.3642 would extend to 61.8% retracement of 1.6587 to 1.3624 at 1.5455. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.6587. However, sustained break of 1.4669 support will dampen this bullish view. We’ll assess the outlook later after looking at the structure and depth of the pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5909; (P) 1.5967; (R1) 1.6036; More….

EUR/AUD’s rally is still in progress and reaches as high as 1.6036 so far. Intraday bias remains on the upside for 61.8% projection of 1.5130 to 1.5976 from 1.5621 at 1.6130 first. Break there will target 100% projection at 1.6444 next. On the downside, below 1.5896 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But retreat should be contained above 1.5621 support to bring another rally.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that rise from 1.3624 is not completed yet. And it’s still in progress for 1.6587 key resistance level. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside, on bearish divergence condition in daily MACD. But for now, break of 1.5153 support is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stays bullish even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6304; (P) 1.6328; (R1) 1.6358; More

EUR/AUD’s correction is still in progress and deeper fall could be seen. For now, we’d still expect 1.6247 resistance turned support to contain downside to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.6680 resistance will resume larger rally through 1.6786. However, sustained break of 1.6247 will bring deeper fall towards 1.5894 support instead.

In the bigger picture, outlook remains bullish and up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is still in progress. Prior support from 55 week EMA indicates medium term bullishness. Next upside target is 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 (2008 high) to 1.1602 at 1.7488. In any case, break of 1.5894 support is needed to be the first sign of medium term topping. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6353; (P) 1.6386; (R1) 1.6436; More

EUR/AUD rebounds strongly today but stays below 1.6586 resistance. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the upside, sustained break of 1.6586 will suggest that it’s at least in correction to the fall from 1.9799 to 1.6033. Further rise should then be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.6033 at 1.7472. However, rejection by 1.6586 will maintain near term bearishness for another fall through 1.6033 later.

In the bigger picture, whole up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) might have completed at 1.9799. Deeper fall might be seen to 55 month EMA (now at 1.5816). Sustained break there will pave the way to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. However, strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.6449) would neutralize the long term bearishness and argues that price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a sideway range pattern instead.
